Elai147: It is safer to invest in liquid stocks than illiquid ones. Till today, MBENEFIT & UNIVINSURE are still constituting nuisance in my portfolio. I cannot make such mistakes again.

Thanks a hundred times. I know I still need to aquire more education but kindly tell me what you mean by 'the listed stocks are selling at a discount'. They are all in my portfolio anyway, but considering the load of money zenith and gtb are paying as dibidends, I see no reason why they should not constitute most of my investment for now instead of my 32 stocks. Selling at a discount, does it mean leveraging investors?

Selling at a discount mean say them dey sell for prices below which them suppose dey sell.

Toluway: Oga 9free, pls let me be cosulting you before I pick my stocks. I am too old to be looking at all these factors. But I think gtb, fb and zenith are not overvalued at current prices, same for skye bank. Thanks.

For the bolded, I know say you get enough money so paying consultation fee no go be problem for you.
GTB, 1Bank, Zenith and Skye are all selling at a discount. That is base on my Objective and Subjective analysis...
Caveat: This is not a recommendation for anybody to buy the aforementioned stocks.

Please what is your yardstick for for determining that a stock is over-valued? I know that you are not talking about p.e. and eps. Kindly enlighten me.

3. Compare its fundamental metrics(P/B, EPS, EBITDA, CFO, FCF Yield and ICR) to others in thesame sector and same capitalization structure
4. Check Corperate Governance
5. Management Team and Level of qualitative Management Decisions
6. Dividend History
7. Growth Potential
8. Cooking of Accounts
9. E.T.C

Guy, this your question will obviously not get the answer or assurances you desire! The best anyone can do in answering your question is only to tell you of sound (Fundamentally or Technically) stock(s) which in many ways are 90percent subjective and 10percent objective. Nobody can beat his chest to claim he knows or even predict the direction of Mr. Market.
We have seen Fundamentally sound stock responding positively to GRAVITY while other overvalued stocks LAVITATE in prices.
My point here is that you do your home work and hope that Mr. Market favours your positions.
Too much analysis and recommendations can lead to paralysis so find a balance and take positions.

Good news for the exporters which means they can get more naira. 165 in the short and medium term is very real unless government decides to prop up naira as usual by depleting their foreign exchange. Politically, you can't predict what the government can do at this time. However it doesn't make economic sense for the government to defend naira at 165.
