Omexonomy: I think this should be the greatest benefit of nairaland. I am using a java phone which means i cannot have access to their book which is in PDF format.

texaco1: you can divide urself up , you guys dont need to be in one place , if you bring in 500 pieces of tablets , that will amount to less than 20 unit per state ,but doing solo buying wont and doesnt last . team up and pool ur cash togheter that is the only way yopu can compete with alaba traders, they always team up and they bring their cash together and send one of them to china , he will even get it cheaper than any online bargain and they bring it in , your own cost price of their item will eventually be their own selling price , so tell me how can u compete ?
well it is up to you guys , it is ur call i wish you guys the best

Thank ooooohhh..... But give us more time to chew on it and digest the details therein....

Oga surveycash, please treat my case biko oooo.......

cuteng: My email is missycuteng@yahoo.com.hk

Mail sent.

texaco1: finally people are seeing the sense in what i have been saying all along ,team up together and pool ur resources together in terms of funds and knowledge , that is the only way you can forge ahead , all this 1 piece or 2 pieces purchases will not last .

A move in the right direction I must confess but we must look at it from all perspective before venturing into it. Know it that some products that one can easily sell in one location(i.e Lagos, PH, ABJ) might be quite difficult for somebody else to sell another location(Makurdi, Kd,Bauchi). In essence we have consider/study the different markets and know their peculiar needs in other to come up with product(s) that will satisfy them and also at affordable prices.

Na wa ooooo..... Oga Elai don mop up Oando finish. Na only 2K units my broker fit see buy for me.
Does one need to have an account with them before it is issued?

Does it mean that UBA Africard is no longer accepted on aliexpress?
Yes!!!!. A normal savings account will do. Also if you're opening a new account, tell them to issue you the VISA card and not Verve because by default they are programmed to issue out the Verve card.
I use that account solely for online transaction.
My Life saving dey cool for GTB.....
What does this mean for the interest rate environment? Does this mean loans will get more costlier? will rate on deposits increase?

Bolded = YES
Coloured = NO

coderXO: Generally, I've found that you need to at least domicile wherever you want to purchase these bills (via banks).
They want you to have an account with them from which they will debit the funds when they have successfully bid on your behalf.

When I inquired from one bank in Ghana about opening an account, they said I needed a residency permit (like really, for even a savings account?).

The Ghana rate (20-22%) is very attractive but the citizen requirement on the short term T-Bills would eliminate most of us on here (whom I expect are Nigerians). I am contemplating a roundabout investment through a Ghanaian Discount House product (something similar to Kakawa KGIF) which returns 20-24% per annum. I am only willing to risk N100,000 on that one however.

Unless you are investing large sums, I don't think it would be worth your while, logistics and all, to invest across borders. By the time you have travelled there to open account etc etc etc, you've eaten up your expected return.

A quick google search on South African Bonds tells me the rate is 5-6%. Not bad if you are coming from Europe or America (where the interest rates are near 0% right now), but certainly not the highest in Africa. In turn, you are buying securities of a more stable government. The risk is is far less.

Generally, T-Bill rates will hover around the country's central bank interest rate but will often be slightly higher.

Peace.

Bless you.

Manutd19: pls watch tips......Can someone give any tips on good watches to buy?
