Of course land cruisers have V8 but they don't carry the Prado brand. Land cruiser Prado are cheaper versions of land cruisers for people who want to enjoy the ruggedity of land cruisers but don't need the V8 engine. It's a water downed version of the most rugged car in the world, why would they fit it with V8? And Prado is not sold in the US, Americans have the choice to pick a Lexus GX which has a V8 engine or go crazy what the full sized land cruiser.

I specifically used a Lexus GX470 as an example and u still tried to claim that it is faster than the accord V6 of the same year, and I just proved it to u. I didn't mention Porsche Cayenne because I know it is built to be fast and has better aerodynamics, same with the BMW X6. But u claimed the Lexus is faster because it has a v8 engine.

Again u are wrong. The weight of the car has a lot to play on how fast it can go. This is why smaller cars with less horsepower will go faster than many heavier cars with more horsepower. Why do u think a Kawasaki zzr1400 with 190hp is a lot faster than a BMW X6 v8 with 445hp? Its because the damn bike is a whole lot lighter. The bike will do 0-60 in less than 3 seconds while the v8 X6 will do it in about 5 seconds. The bike will do quarter mile in 9.5 secs while the X6 will do it in 13.8secs. The bike will max out at 185mph while the x6 v8 will max out at 155mph. Why do u think this is possible? Its the weight coupled with how they are tuned.

And u ask why do supercars carry v8? of course they have to carry big engines because bigger engines means bigger speed (when every other things like shape, weight and aerodynamics remain the same). You should be asking urself why supercars are built with carbon fiber instead of steel used in regular cars. Why they have alcantera seats instead of leather. Why they don't have back seats. All these things are to reduce their weight. If u put a ferrari engine in an SUV do u still think that suv will be as fast as the ferrari? lol. If u pick 2 super cars with similar engines and transmission, one built out of steel with back seats and leather, while the other is built out of carbon fiber with alcantera and no back seat, which one do u think will be faster? Also u need to realize that suv's have higher ground clearance which is not good for speed. Have u asked urself why fast cars have very low ground clearance?



A prado? Dude this must be a joke. Even a full sized landcruiser with all its v8 is not a fast car. U must be a comedian. Kuku talk say Toyota Sequoia will outrun a 2010 VW golf GTI because the Toyota carry v8 with all its 6000lb weight.

You have tried I swear. I don't know where Nigerians got the notion that weight equals balance. I don't know. All track cars are made as light as possible with composite materials. Even a Lamborghini urus will struggle at corners compared to an F1 car which is lighter. Where then is the advantage conferred by weight in terms of balance? What does he really understand by balance?
I don't know how speed makes vehicles lighter. Is there another law of physics that affects their mass? Aerodynamics may play a role on how much traction a cars tyre can provide at very high speeds but beyond that, nothing. People keep confusing steering feedback with weight perception.
Weight (mass) is a killer when it comes to changing a cars direction. The heavier cars (Prados, land cruisers) will skid easily or require larger turning circles or angles at speed than a lighter car all other things (tyre condition, road condition etc) being equal. Heavier cars tend to have longer stopping distances. Lighter cara stop better. I do not see the advantage weight confers on cars with regards to "balance", speed or cornering ability. Instead, it's a disadvantage.

F1 cars will corner and accelerate faster than any heavy SUV because it is lighter even though the F1 car has a far smaller sized engine.

I didn't blame the car though. Maybe it sounded does. I was in an haste and as a fact I learnt not to speeed with Japanese the day an rx330 almost drifted inside the bush while entering a corner with 120 or so. Though the breaking system was just too bad and I mean this. Either way sha. The thread is over and for the dude chasing unrealistic clout using me to show is English speaking skills gravatar or whatever he his I hope he meets his match cos am not.

This happened yesterday morning, I had a flight to catch at the airport by 9 and I left Ibadan past 7 with my Toyota corolla sport. Las las Ibadan traffic dey mild and as I entered that Lagos Ibadan express way oboy Audi mode activated. I was doing around 140 to 150 when I heard a loud bang and gbagbagbagbagbahba. In sub seconds my brain processed that na tyre and if I match break oboy the car go start acrobatic display. Las las I drag gear for neutral and car came to stop after few seconds. Damaged my bumper, sand protector and some part of the rim.


Next time I will make sure I don't go above 100 with a corolla that's if there will be a next time with one.




And the breaking system is just so stupid and all. I wonder how corolla lovers cope

1. Audi mode in a Corolla? How?
2. 150km/hr in a 100km/hr highway
3. Driving on bald (most likely over pressurized or underpressurised) tyres.

And yet somehow it is all Toyota Corolla s fault.

However, contrary to what you intend to achieve,
1. The Toyota Corolla did not lose control which is a testament to it's engineering and build
2. The Toyota Corolla kept you alive despite your best efforts to throw it away.
3. The Toyota Corolla will still get you to your destination with a spare tyre.

Give credit to the engineers and people who took out their time to design that 'bland and boring' but ultimately best selling car in the world. They have saved your arse once again.
And people who know better appreciate what they have done and what they keep doing.

I have stopped using. Pinging stopped. I stated it up there and in other posts. I can rev to 6k rpm now without fear of pings and I do so quite regularly to keep the carbons away.
If you drive like a granny all the time, carbon builds up on the top of the pistons.

How safe?

Very safe. Used up a 20 litre gallon of xylene when making mine.
I bought the xylene then 40k in 2018. I don't know how much it is now. But I figured it was cheaper than buying octane boosters at about 6k. I don't have a check engine. My car doesn't miss a bit. Doesn't smoke and doesn't short oil. So it is safe.

All things being equal,it's possible but we know how things work in real life. If the car has already been bought, trucked to the port, processed for shipping and loaded on the ship before the 22 days timeline, yes it's possible.

How did you make the boosters

Mixture of xylene, ATF and diesel. Xylene being the major constituent. I can't remember the ratios now. I will have to dig up the literature I got the formula from when I find my old phone.

Great news. Locally made booster or imported? Want to kickstart my production possibilities.

I made some myself. Bought some from radautoworks, used stp brand as well sometimes but eventually started making mine and when the pings stopped (probably when the carbon on the piston cleared out), I stopped adding the boosters.

Nothing is apparently wrong with your engine. Pump your tyres to spec or just 40psi. If the orange light doesn't go away, them your tpms sensors need replacing.

Just seeing this. Pulls like a train now. Pings are gone. A few 6k rpm pulls coupled with the octane boosters did the trick. Has been a faithful car till date.
