Lols, some delusional people dey expect the LP candidate to win the election when he no sabi the language of the people he wan govern. Regardless of your tribe, your leadership qualities are questionable if you can't communicate well in the appropriate language(s). If GRV is really serious about governing the state and wresting power from APC in Lagos, he should intensify his efforts in learning Yoruba language now. In the next four years if LP can build on their wins in the 2023 elections and become stronger in 2027, he may stand a better chance. |
Some months after the elections, everybody go calm down. Be it Yoruba, Ibo, Hausa or any other ethnic group, we're all humans first. The politicians keep dividing the masses along tribal and religious lines. Sadly, some so-called educated people fall for that trick because of their limited intelligence and greed. You'd be extremely foolish if you fight an Ibo or Yoruba today that could be of help to you later in life because he's not from your tribe while trying to defend politicians that don't give a damn about you. Whether online or offline, political thuggery doesn't pay. |
Itzlinda:And underage voting? |
Which one is elite between Havertz and Felix? None, Havertz is better though. |
Elder0001:No colonial masters waste time today in recolonizing a country that's not independent in the real sense of it. What the colonial masters do in modern times is to strengthen their hold on their former colonies using religion, aids and loans, and any other necessary tool. Most Nigerians prefer the English or Arabic culture to the native cultures that they see as backward and savage. No need to recolonize such people because they're still slaves. Maybe the future generations of Africans will be smarter and mentally stronger. The current generations are a lost cause. |
Amoto94:How can a country develop when the majority are religious yet so criminal and wicked to their fellow humans with you as an example who support barbaric religious practices like Sharia? I only pity any Christian, pagan, or freethinker unfortunate enough to encounter people like you in real life who promote all sorts of extreme religious beliefs and views. People like you, who are ready to do just about anything for the supremacy of Islam (including killing innocent people for Allah), make living in this country so difficult and hellish. The African with extreme religious views represents all that's wrong with blacks as a race, whether they follow any of the foreign religions or the local ones. If they're a Muslim or Christian, their allegiance is mainly to Saudi or Israel, not Nigeria, and often condemn, demonize, and kill the local cultures and traditions to promote the foreign culture. How can you develop as a people when your allegiance lies with a foreign country that you foolishly call your origin as a black man? Such Africans — and there are millions of them — have been messed up at a deep level, psychologically and culturally. The African traditionalist with extreme religious views or cultural beliefs has a backward mentality and is neck-deep in superstition and all sorts of barbaric practices that have no place in the modern world and should be abolished. Religious people in Africa, who are also mean, wicked, and corrupt, make the continent stay stagnated and backward. You and your fellow extremists are a big part of the problem. You want to develop as a people yet everything about you is messed up: your concept of God is foreign, system of education, language, government are all foreign. Every core aspect that makes a society functional is foreign and mostly imposed. Any society that's not intelligent enough to develop its own systems of religion, language, education, government but merely copies everything from its colonial masters and slave masters can't develop. Keep on promoting the Arabic culture and expecting development as an African when your allegiance lies with Saudi and the Arab world. Your dream to make Nigeria an Arab country and a nation under Allah practicing Islam will never come to fruition despite supporting a Muslim-Muslim presidential ticket. The slave is talking about "a nation under God". Which God if not the local god from Arabia, Allah? |
Potter no fit carry us reach anywhere. No top 4 this season and Madrid go beat this useless Potter dirty next month. When reasonable people dey berate the clueless coach stupidity, those ones wey get leaky brain do get talk say we dey wish the club bad. As if na our wishes make him dey trophyless and so dull. |
airmark:Lols, Apariola |
Breaking: Information reaching us at the Punch newspaper is that Tinubu has been admitted at his polling unit to vote |
airmark, what do you think about Pep's new hairstyle?
|
Leyqute:Were ![]() |
Puntingnoob:No player with that name in Napoli in the guy's post. I know he was just joking sha and was referring to Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. |
Amoto94:Yea, like the millions of non-Muslims you and your brothers have persecuted and killed for heresy, apostasy, and blasphemy in the history of your religion. I'm sure the Uighur Muslims in China also suffer from this disease of victimhood that only exists in the figment of imagination of terrorist-apologists like you. |
kad199:Mention where I told you I'm praying for him to lose in the post you quoted. Was it my prayers that made him achieve the lowest win rate in Chelsea's history? |
Chelsea will play 9 games in April. ✅️ • Aston Villa (H) • Liverpool (H) • Wolves (A) • Real Madrid (A) • Brighton (A) • Real Madrid (H) • Man United (A) • Brentford (H) • Arsenal (A) I remember the last time we had to play many games in a short period: That was under Tuchel last season, and he won most of them. We'll see how the worst manager in Chelsea's history performs next month that's if the losses don't start coming today with Everton. |
Ibime:I just hope he forgives those maids wey dey prison and release them soon. |
Leyqute:When did Napoli sign those two players, bro? |
Ibime:Well said, bros. |
"President Muhammadu Buhari has signed 16 Constitution Amendment Bills into Law. By this signing, State Houses of Assembly and Judiciaries now have constitutionally-guaranteed financial independence, while Railways have moved from Exclusive Legislative List to the Concurrent List. Another landmark change: By virtue of the Presidential Assent, Nigerian States can NOW generate, transmit and distribute electricity in areas covered by the national grid. Wasn't allowed pre-amendment. This is genuine, realistic Restructuring — through the Constitution. "Prisons" - now known as "Correctional Services" - has also now moved from the Exclusive Legislative List, to the Concurrent List. Meaning that States now have the power to establish Correctional and Custodial facilities, and State Assemblies have the power to legislate on such. One of the new Amendments to the Constitution mandates the President and Governors "to submit the names of persons nominated as Ministers or Commissioners within sixty days of taking the oath of office for confirmation by the Senate or State House of Assembly..." A couple of the Constitution Amendment Bills relate to the change of name of some Local Governments. Because LGAs are listed in the Constitution, you can't alter their names or create new ones without a Constitution Amendment process. In Ogun State, Egbado North and Egbado South Local Government Areas are now to be known and addressed as Yewa North and Yewa South respectively. In Ebonyi, Afikpo North and Afikpo South LGAs are now to be known as Afikpo and Edda LGAs respectively. Etc etc CA Bills originally passed by NASS included one for FINANCIAL AUTONOMY for LOCAL GOVERNMENTS, replacing the controversial "State Joint Local Government Account" w/ a new "Local Govt Council Allocation Account"—to be credited directly. Not enough State Assemblies concurred, sadly. With Railways moving from Exclusive to Concurrent, it means Rail no longer exclusive preserve of Federal Govt/NASS. States will now be able to MAKE LAWS regulating establishment and operation of rail services WITHIN their territory. Inter-State Rail will remain FGN responsibility. So apparently some of the LGAs whose names have just been changed by the constitutional amendments have been using the new names for a while. Well, it's the old names that have been in the Constitution the entire time. The FORMAL change starts now! Now that the Bills have been assented to, and have become Acts of Parliament, the next step is for "gazetting" to happen - the process by which the assented Acts are published in the Official Gazette of the Federal Republic of Nigeria." Copied A handful of right steps taken by the failed Buhari administration toward restructuring. |
OasisX:I'm not eager for Tinubu to fail just like I wasn't eager for Buhari to become a colossal failure that he's. Let's watch as things unfold. |
zeusis:Abi, before you say jack, the lunatic don abuse your parent. I don't know how the mad boy got access to a phone. He go dey call some OGs here wey fit born am or buy am "stupid", "boy". Well, na Nairaland give am such a privilege sha which he dey abuse. He's better avoided like a plague. |
zeusis:Yea |
zeusis:Person wey don mad. I no even bother to read the trash he dey post for my mention. Na grade one were go talk say nothing dey special about Tuchel, who has won many trophies in three different leagues in Germany, France, and England, but the trophyless Potter is special. You sef go see say this kind madness don pass play play |
No time to dey quote and reply that kid wey escape from Aro. Tuchel is one of the most successful coaches for Chelsea, who Sabi a clown called Potter wey never win a spoon for him coaching career? Only an Aro escapee go dey mention Potter when discussing world-class coaches like Tuchel. An Aro escapee isn't expected to know the basic things about football. |
Subsidy removal loading. The dullard Buhari also advised the incoming president to raise VAT to 10%. Lols, Nigerians go see shege under Tinubu. |
Ancelotti vs Potter wey be clown and rookie. If Benzema gets injured before the match, I go get small hope. Normally, we suppose beat Madrid but we no get coach. A world-class coach like Tuchel can defeat Madrid in both legs with the quality of this squad. But the clown wey we get as coach na learner |
So Crystal Palace has sacked Patrick Vieira, the only black manager in the EPL. |
DontBullshitMe:If you study history of humanity and follow the current happenings in the world, that fact becomes clear. You think Nigeria is poor, but in reality, it's not. But the majority of Nigerians are mentally poor because they detest philosophy and critical thinking which form the bedrock of civilization. Greatness starts from the mind. All aspects of civilization, including science, arts, music, entertainment, architecture, esthetics, ethics, morality, and others all have their roots in philosophy and critical thinking. Check the history of today's countries and you'll see many great thinkers they've produced. There are many great thinkers in Europe; many in Asia, and other regions as well except Africa. How many great thinkers has Africa produced in modern times? Very few. The top countries in the world have more thinkers than their counterparts in Africa. Africa used to be great in the past, but colonialism and those Abrahamic religions (which are like cancers) sounded the death knell on civilizations in Africa. So long most Africans practice Islam and Christianity, the black race will always be led by the Europeans and Arabs. Sadly, there's no end in sight for the hegemony of the Europeans and Arabs over Africans. |
Social media — even with all its benefits — aids the spread of fake news and misinformation. Thus, some reports of child marriage in the North are false. Even so, the menace of child marriage in the region is underreported in the media, just like all other vices in society. Child marriage in the North underscores the nexus between religion and poverty in the region, which has some of highest population growth figures in the world. |
DontBullshitMe:The leaders are a reflection of the people, and something is fundamentally with Africans. At the roots of the leadership problem and corruption plaguing Nigeria lie various core issues such as disdain for critical thinking and philosophy, religion (the foreign religions), and tribalism. Rational people are few and far between in this part of the world, and any society with very few intelligent minds hardly develops. The black race is much less intelligent than the other races. That's a fact, and the evidence for this assertion abounds. Compounding the problem is the issue of brain drain where the few highly intelligent people in Africa relocate to the West. |
Buhari is running one of the most corrupt (if not the most corrupt) governments in Nigeria's history. |
BlueRayDick:That's one of the reasons why I called Islam a toxic religion the other day. Unlike Christianity, the religion hasn't been reformed, and it's not reformable unless a new Qur'an is written and many traditions and practices of their "honorable" prophet repealed. These things are not possible. |
