Amigoss:Then, why are you spreading misinformation? A unipolar world controlled by the West is harmful and dangerous to Africa. A multipolar world is in the best interest of Africans, and it's important that countries in the East like Russia and China keep opposing the hegemony of the West. If not, what happened to the natives of America will be child's play if the West, especially the UK and the US, is allowed to gain power over the whole world: You can say goodbye to Africa as you know it. It's sad that most Africans don't know the horrors of slavery and colonialism by GB, France, Portugal, Belgium. This topic isn't given enough attention in this part of the world, and most Africans don't think deeply. Because most Africans only read books of history (books of lies) written by Western authors, they don't learn true history of colonialization and slavery and how the colonial masters and slave masters committed acts of genocides in parts of Africa and India and other unspeakable things. Because most Africans don't know this history, it will be easier to recolonize Africa in the future. And many Africans are even calling for recolonizaton because they don't know the horrors of colonization and slavery. If most Africans know these facts about the West, some would have done worse than Prof Uju when she made her brave remarks about the death of Queen Elizabeth. As a true African, you can't know how colonial masters and slave masters from these Western countries committed acts of genocide, forced labor in Africa, torturing Africans in enslavement camps, how the Britons massacred the native Americans and took over their land to form today's US, and you'll still be taking sides with the West in this Russian-Ukrainian war. The West did much worse to their colonies in Africa and India than Russia and are not repentant for their evil actions.

Amigoss, you don't know the source? But you know it's not a deep fake? |
Amigoss:What's the source of the picture then? |
Amigoss:Are you sure that picture isn't one of the deep fakes made with ChatGPT 4? |
stxrlight:Men are logical beings. Women are also logical beings. While men get emotional at one time or the other, women do so more often and openly because women have extra emotional faculties and due to the social conditioning of women as "weaker vessels". But in reality, women are not "weaker vessels" because they also have some strengths such as beauty, voice, intellect, attitude. There were female warriors in some cultures in the past. Most people erroneously emphasize the physical strength that men have naturally more than women because of the patriarchal nature of planet Earth. But strength exists in various forms: physique (agility), beauty, voice, intelligence, attitude, and others. In social interactions and making decisions such as marriage, if a woman wants to go against the cultural norms (with deeply entrenched patriarchal values), she has to know the cost and sacrifice to bear, and decide if it's really worth it. |

Una don calm down small. Lols. I just don't see the need for all these tribal fights sha. Needless arguments. |
The past few pages show a kid begging desperately for attention online on a Monday morning, and I'm sure he has got more than enough attention he seriously craves. |
Your delusions are strong, the kind exhibited by psychotic patients, if you think your noises here will stop me from posting. You go wail tire. Start hating on A001 early on a Monday morning and make sure you do so in the afternoon and evening before sleeping. Repeat the same exercise daily and make sure you hate on A001 always. Your hatred for me is a poison to your body and soul. |
SocialJustice:I'd actually like to read more of your posts on topics like this. I like reading diverse philosophies and views. |
Last month, Kevin Hart's scheduled show in Egypt was canceled allegedly due to some comments he made on social media. I guess the descendants of the Arab invaders and land grabbers in today's Egypt expected him to be eurocentric or arabcentric as a black man. You read the history of science, for instance, and shake your head at the eurocentric agenda of the authors. In the mainstream science, the achievements of scientists in parts of Africa in the past are always silenced, with many thinking science originated from ancient Greece and Old Rome. Yet, if you do your research well on the subject, you'd realize the African origin of science and many other aspects of the Western civilizations of today. When studying history, it's always a good practice to consider diverse sources and views, finding evidence for or against claims made by different authors with eurocentric, afrocentric, or arabcentric leaning. Regardless of the racial background of any historian, their claims are only as credible as the proofs they offer for them. But many today in Africa due to colonialism and the hegemonic influence of the Europeans and Arabs care less about proofs for claims made in history books written by the whites or Arabs. If it's produced by the whites or Arabs, it must be credible and superior to its counterparts produced by native people. As stated earlier, as an African, your views and interests should be afrocentric. Apart from most people in Africa, every other race considers their own interests first before others, which is the right thing to do. As an African, you're wallowing in slavery and folly if your views and interests are eurocentric like the typical African Christians or arabcentric like the regular African Muslims.

The were keeps crying in my mentions. You can quote this one as well. You go wail tire over Otem. No be me go dey engage a person that's damaged at deep levels on Nairaland as shown by his moniker and posts. |
Amoto94:You're obviously dementic. When did Pakistan become a gulf state? Nairaland with the low quality of engagement. Empty brain |
No time to engage an imbe. Any country that has developed nuclear weapons has now become an advanced scientific society. The quality of his education is so low that he thinks nuclear weapons represent the pinnacle of science. Well, you're not called a retard without a reason. Keep making silly posts embarrassing yourself after all Physics has been manufacturing weapons from the beginning of the discipline. Empty brain, lols |
Amoto94:You no like the "advanced scientific society in Pakistan" that dimwit mentioned. You'd have enough freedom to practice Islam the way Muhammed and his companions did. Lols, na Germany built on the liberal values of the West you wan go. That fool at 40 is one of the dullest posters here. |
raumdeuter:Is America in the Arab World? Is the American style of leadership the standard for the whole world? |
PapalsBull:One reason that deters women from taking part in politics in the Muslim World is how this woman was assassinated by Islamist fundamentalists. This practice of killing people based on religious/political agenda is one reason why many would keep on practicing "selective Islam" so they don't become terrorists like the early figures in their religion. |
PapalsBull:Lols, Islam doesn't support democracy in the real sense of it and many Western notions. But no Muslim today can practice Islam the way Muhammed and his companions did some 14 centuries ago because the religion has many barbaric practices and a dark past. In the future, Muslims will continue to practice "selective Islam", a watered-down version of the religion, till the religion dies a natural death like older pagan religions the founders of Islam copied. |
It's not even sure Adamawa would be able to produce the first female governor in Nigeria in 2023. Regardless of the outcome, more women are needed in Nigerian politics because the male politicians have mostly failed woefully, and the key leadership qualities don't depend on gender. Contrary to the myopic teachings in religions, I hope Nigeria, or any nation that comes from it, can produce good female presidents and governors in the near future. |
I no get time to engage silly people wey plenty for this forum. Make una dey cry in my mentions. You can start wailing about Otem as usual. Na you go tire. They're not capable of making posts based on facts and key evidence. |
Amoto94:You could only mention one example compared to tons of male rulers that have ruled over places in the region after the advent of Islam. I'm still waiting for Muslim women that have ruled countries in the Arab world. You said the post of paramount ruler is reserved for only men in Islam, but I think a fool at 50 and his ilk here don't agree with you. They must have another Qur'an and haadith guiding their own false opinions. They should list the female Muslims that have ruled in any countries in the Arab World apart from Tunisia, which is an exception as stated in my initial post. |
I'd be waiting for a list of Muslim women that have ruled countries in the Arab World. You've not mentioned any. Lols. List more apart from the one I mentioned. Let's see. Then, tell us how many female prophets you've in Islam. |
The fool is obviously incurably stupid. In his desperate attempt to find women that have ruled Saudi since the emergence of Islam, he mentioned a pagan who was a widow that employed Muhammed. Oponu The dimwit always makes a fool of himself when countering my posts which are mostly based on facts and solid evidence. |
GloriousGbola:Where's Arab World mentioned in that post? I see your your maniac condition don return and you don start hallucinating by reading what's no stated in a post and forming words like otemicist wey no get meaning. Below is my initial post where I mentioned Arab World: A001:I no dey engage were digbolugi (a maniac fellow) on Nairaland. So, I'll ignore your mentions. Look for your sparring partners elsewhere for your stupid e-wars at 50 years of age. |
This one is too dull. Is Indonesia in the Arab world? E dey list a handful of countries wey no belong to the Arab League when I clearly mentioned Arab World in my initial post. Lols |
izzou:Even Pakistan is not in the Arab world. Najla Bouden became the first prime minister in the Arab world just in 2021. No woman had led any country in the Arab world in that capacity before her. |
izzou:That's an exception. I'd be waiting for a woman that has ruled Saudi after the advent of Islam. He should do his research well and tell us. Then, he should list many examples of such in the Arab world showing it's the norm in those countries. He'll only be able to find a handful of examples. Those are exceptions, not the norm. |
izzou:Yes, how many woman has ruled Saudi, the home of Islam, after the advent of Islam? None. In the Arab world that use Sharia laws, I doubt you'll find any Muslim women in leadership positions. If there are, they'll be scanty and would mostly only lead in minor positions. It's all-men affair; after all, no prophet of Islam was a woman. The women are too unintelligent and emotional to lead in Allah's view. Anyway, only a dimwit won't know all these religions are the handiworks of men. |
Next time they say the local god from Arabia Allah is all-knowing, you'd know that an all-knowing entity won't put all leadership positions in the hands of men and forbid women from leading even though good leadership qualities aren't dependent on gender. The Christian god Yahweh also exhibited the same short-sightedness like Allah in the old testament. Some people had to write a new testament in the Bible to correct Yahweh's mistakes and reform the religion. |
izzou:Lols, if Amoto94 supports her candidacy, that'd be against the teachings of his prophet. If a female can become a governor in a northern state with many Muslims, in the future, a female can also become an imam over men. Lols. The end time of Islam go dey interesting. |
Binani vs Fintiri: Different perspectives on the Adamawa State gubernatorial election From the religious and cultural perspectives, some of the ancient kingdoms in northern Nigeria were ruled by women before the advent of Islam. However, the founders of the religion being short-sighted forbid women from holding leadership posts even though it's clear that we need more women to participate in Nigerian politics. It'd be interesting to see voters in Adamawa, many of which are Muslims, elect a woman to lead them against the teachings of their myopic prophet and their cultural bias against women leaders. |
Even without rigging and using the tactics of voter suppression and intimidation, I didn't see how GRV could defeat Sanwo Olu in Lagos. The former is a weak candidate despite the Obi factor. APC must always show that they're a party of thugs. Political thuggery isn't a sustainable way to engage in politics in the long run. |
