Please help me beg her ooh!! i am not the one that told Vidic to sack Gerrard on his way to goal neither did i tell him to fluff his clearance that gave Torres the equaliser! she took the loss quite badly and we are sleeping in different rooms tonight! i would sneak in her bed later tonight though. All we just want to hear is y'all admitting you thoroughly deserved to lose that game,Liverpool ran you out of your own stadium and deserved to win

Jeez Wade is really bringing the Heat and at this rate he might have his jersey retired by the Heat when he's done with them he became the highest scorer in their history he is even 2nd all-time in assists and he helped slow down the Jazz with 50 pts,10 rebounds and 9 assists dude simply wants to be league MVP so badly

What is still baffling me up till now is, not one of the Man U fans have said well done Liverpool, well played smiley Common guys, accept the defeat in good spirit and congratulate the victors because whether we like it or not, they did beat the living daylights out of you.  1-2 is a win, 1-3 is a win, but 1-4, that's surely a beating. AND, let's not forget the AND smiley in the so called Theater of Dreams smiley E be like say Freddie Kreuger visited that theater before the match and filled it up with NIGHTMARES  shocked tongue grin
They are a bunch of bad losers!! Where you expecting them to congratulate Liverpool for raping them at home?

@A40,

So if the French league becomes big say in 2 years time, you would start supporting Lille.
Do you wonder why Nottingham Forest still have fans? I am not judging you, just trying to rib.

Actually Lars Rickens scored that lovely chip with his first touch. Did you also know how Schalke won the UEFA cup that season? By doing scientific study on Inter Milan players. Guess who was in Goal? Jens lehmann.

They studied Zamoranos Kicks so much that Schalke won. have you wondered why germans hardly lose on penalties? They take it beyond "Penalty is a Game of luck" Pick your spot and blast No time for fancy penalties.

Ibime Rothmans of Pall Mall soccer was it in those days. Also Footbal made in gemany was popular i Lagos those days i think the same guy that does Telematch runs it. With his funny voice. that was where the Bayern love came from.

Even while in Ife-University, watching Euro soccer is not for every one. Some of us would go and watch far at the Staff club and others would wait for scores.
I was an impressionable teenager then! what did you expect? Yeah i know Schalke won the Uefa Cup that season there was no doubting Germany ruled the whole of Europe back then! remember they had just won Euro 96 and where really at the top of their game they always played efficient footie and knew how to take their opportunites when it came.Sammer was just a rock back then he was excellent for club and country but Moller was my man anyday anytime

I would not crucify Adebayor again!! Not with this bloodclotry Bendtner has been feeding us with! This is even worse than the 4-2 loss the Gunners suffered at Highbury heck your only goal was a freaking penalty! truth is the discerning Utd fan though would have seen this hiding coming looking at the last 2 games y'all have played
This was a serious kick in the butt and you guys needed it because you guys where getting too comfortable and hey the best part is Liverpool fans would still be reminding you Scummies about this result in 2015 whether they win the league or not. . .

I think the EPL teams are actually playing their 39th league game and its the UCL Finals

http://www.101greatgoals.com/2009/03/the-premier-league-has-come-up-with-a-cunning-plan-for-playing-its-controversial-39th-game-its-called-the-champions-league-final-henry-winter/

dayokanu:
Debo,

What short memories you have. Tell me what happened the last time you came to Munich for a football game with Henry, Vieira, and co.

Ask the scummies too who are yet to win a game against Bayern be it Home or away.

UEFA would settle score now
I have a confession to make! i used to like German teams too when your league was still sensible! I risked being chased out of the boarding house to go watch the 2001 UCL Final and the most annoying part was the bloody thing went into penalties and i had to sneak back into school at almost midnight!!

I also used to like Dortmund too!! Andy Moller was my favorite player on the team i also really liked Sammer,Reuter,Chapuisat,Riedle,Lars Ricken heck i can't forget his audacious chip minutes after coming out of the bench against Juve and their goalie Klos that was when German teams where competitive now they just plain suck!! It pains me each time i see Dortmund now and remember there Die Continentale days!!

For now y'all got to admit EPL rules the roost

Hey dearie grin
So how do you explain RVP's less than desirable performance then? At least he has no ''lack of match fitness'' excuse.
United wouldn't have any problems banging goals against Almunia. Almunia's strength is penalties. . .hez good at that. Unless it comes down to that, no way Jose.
I would actually not mind Utd!! Knocking out defending champions two years in a row is a really really alluring prospect. The game would be open which suits us perfectly both teams would probably try to out-attack each other

A-40 - This is all a plan for us to tank and then draft blake griffin or else what the hell. I'd rather have Joey Pryzbilla, at least that's one white big man with heart grin grin
Keep on jonzing!! Pryzbilla ko! Godzilla ni! keep on hating on a future hall of famer tongue tongue. Why do you like pipe-dreaming? abeg leave Blake Griffin for teams that really need him like the Thunder or the Wizards! onijekuje tongue you want back to back first round picks after trading endlessly for dud players and you guys are still looking whack

Moonstone:
A good team - I agree but is MVP not all about the players as individuals? We should leave good teams to show off in finals but reward the individuals. I think they should make it such that your team has to reach the second round of playoffs to qualify as an MVP. Then we would have a wider range of players for the MVP position.
Yes but again it is a team sport i mean look at footie for example Ronaldo won the PFA and major awards because United where winners! he was outstanding and his team also won most major titles so its a mix of both although there are exceptions to this rule but more often than not you cant go wrong with an outstanding team and also an outstanding individual performance

chiogo:
Owwww!!! Celtics is back. . .nah, Rondo is back!!! I just love that boy. cheesy

OmG!! I am so proud of Leon Powe, he really proved himself. Now what were you saying, A-40? I'm sure you didn't catch that game. Now go do ya website thingy and catch the replay and tell me the boy isn't good. 30 points yo, player of the game! Ah he's nice!

Jesoul, you were so right about Starbury and Mikki Moore, all they needed was time. Did you see mikki make his first shot when he dunked? I was like "awww", that was too cute. And starbury came up as well.

Hope our next game sunday with the bucks goes well too.

Awww, yet another heart-breaker bad decision making by D.Rose and Ben Gordon on the final two plays y'all ran them close but it was no cigar i think now is a good time to trade your entire roster for Dirk Nowitzki grin grin grin

@Moonie
I think you need a mix of both qualities! A good team and consistent numbers to be a league MVP basketball is a team sport and in as much as its an individual award there is a reason why All-star MVP's and Nba Final MVP awards are giving to the best player on the winning team
So regardless of your performance your team has to win or be a respectable contender to qualify for that honor

lebron's 3rd straight triple double, i dont have a problem deciding my mvp of the season
the battle with cavs for the best record rages on
Your Lakers are just looking scarier with every game barring any unforeseen circumstances i see them running with the West your frontcourt is just looking too strong and the most annoying part is Bynum is still out and is not even being missed lets not even talk about the bench

JeSoul:
I think you meant a better perimeter defender, Powe holds down the paint almost as good as anyone in the league. They play diff positions so comparing them in 3pt regard is not feasible. Ginobili, Terry, Hamilton and Odom don't count, they've been on n off the bench. Besides I'm willing to gamble most of their efficiency is not as good as Powe's. He gets so much in short minutes . . . Odom has only 15 pts combined over the past 4 games  cheesy And I think Bawo expressed my feelings on Beasley  smiley
My sister Powe cannot win that award in this life or the next!! Powe does not generate enough offense to get more minutes he is just a high energy player who has a good night once in a blue moon.Terry has been tipped by most experts as the sixth man of the season and we all know Ginobili's importance to the Spurs lets not talk about Odom he carried the Lakers on his back at Cleveland scoring 37 points or so and was fantastic against the Spurs he is better than Powe ooh never mind that 4 game stretch

JeSoul:
Kai season tickets to the Mavs?  cheesy bad investment  grin
This whole thing started in 04/05 season when my aunt's colleague got her involved with them Mavs they used to go their games and the whole Mavs thing just caught her and spread to me

JeSoul:
Celtics will be fine. Whether na third abi na second place we finish in, I am not concerned. I believe at full strength with the new additions we can beat Cleveland and Orlando on the road. Especially if Cleveland continues to falter in their interior defense.
That remains to be seen my dear.I am not sure many Celts would be willing to take that gamble of not having home-court advantage Cleveland are faltering because of Ben Wallace's absence they would get back on interior defense when he gets healthy
