Indians are maestro's when it comes to softwares and all but traveling all the way there to spend 3 to 6 months is a rather expensive option the question is can you afford it?

Pardon my argumentative stance you are the expert here and i am still working my way up but most books i have read keep drumming the importance of having the ability to manage and use PL/SQL and its programs.I do think you are right on just about everything in your last post. I made a mistake with the dynamic performance views example what i actually meant was PL/SQL comes in handy when dealing with data pump export and data pump import programs and also fine grained auditing.
@Le Moor
Long time bro.How have you been?I do think it would be nice if this thread was revived

Honestly you dont need so much PLSQL to be a good DBA unless you are a Development DBA. To be a great DBA you need to know and master things like Performance Tuning, Disaster Recovery etc rather than PLSQL. And to be a Super DBA then you need to be a guru in one of the HA features of Oracle.
I am not doing much work in 11g yet because it is still the first release. Will do much when the second release comes out. The first release of any product is always bug full.
@Jimblaze,
Please go to www.ensips.com and open an account. Then send me the username and password so i can upload the PLSQL zip file for you. Can email it because of the size. Once you do that let me know.

@
In some cases it does help i agree though that Performance Tuning,Disaster Recovery,Backup Management matter to a larger extent but then there are also scenarios where you would need your PL/SQL especially when you are dealing with Dynamic Performance Views and all its not just something you can really run from so you might as well be good at it as there are rarely jobs where you would not have to do some Development at one time or another

I want someone to show me one rapper that has lived out his rhymes like 2pac.He didn't just talk about it he was about it

bgees:
Now lets look at it from d gangster angle, since his business was gangster rap.

Tupac once shot at cops for beating up a fellow black man.

He was faced with a gun and about to be robbed of his chain, but he still tried to punch his assailants to try to get his gold chain back. Thats what happened when he was shot 5 times. He also left the hospital 2 days later!

After the shooting that led to his death. Close sources said Tupac actually stood on his two feet in hospital elevator.

His left lung was in a mess so it had to be removed. Tupac lived with just one lung and he died six days later.

These make me say tupac was real and he is d epitome of a true gangster rapper.

I am doing this because the issue of his lyrical prowess is already won.

Guys like him only exist on the T.V screen.
That's the CLOSER!!

Inter Milan will not score a single goal against a team that has Vidic, Rio and Van Der Sar at OT.
The trio are not just all mouth, no substance. Vidic would put Adriano/Ibracadabra in his pocket.
Don't bust a nut just yet!! They don't even need a win to knock y'all out of the competition so you had better look a map!! besides whoever said the goals must come from Zlatan and Adriano? You guys are well and very beatable at OT Italian teams have done it before in case your memory is on a commercial break

First and Foremost let me start by saying Eboue and Bendtner are the most useless players on Planet Earth and the Entire Galaxy had to get that off my chest

What was that gay Roma mofo doing showing us his draws and frapashing by the touchline does he not know that game was being beamed to millions of fans including kids around the world?

Anyways we should have killed this Roma team off but our usual wastefulness came to the fore again i am only hoping the likes of Eduardo,Fabregas,Walcott and Rozzy would be back in time for the 2nd leg if they are back then even in Roma's Stadio Olimpico they have no chance as Italy is our home away from home

Vidic will be back and that means more tightening up.
Advantage United!!!
If u don't believe me, ask Xavi and Messi!!!
Naah!! We didn't score at the Emirates as well last season and where still able to put two past Ac Milan at the San Siro

Inter where poor today though how Utd where not able to win by at least two goals has to be the eight wonder of the world

A-40: really sad about detroit, it's like a movie considering how low they've gone so quick. . . . . most teams dont even have respect for them again on the court hence they hardly would even get a break, success cant last forever, total team rebuilding seems imminent for them
They are under .500 at home their palace is now a shrine lol the coach should be shot i insist for starting A.I ahead of Rip Hamilton i also think Rasheed Wallace gotta go his productivity is waning at break neck speed

I need to knowhuh How much of PL/SQL does a DBA really need to know??
Thanks
Ohh it does help a great deal to know your PL/SQL although its one of my least favorite parts of Oracle but hey you would need it to schedule your jobs access some packages make use of constraints like triggers or when you need to make calculations that your ordinary SQL code can't do i.e when you want to automate tasks and stuff it can be the difference between a good DBA and a great DBA.I can't stand PL/SQL though but i know its necessary

@ azumok my yahoo ad is jimblaze_au77 so pls send any thing about pl/sql and to jaffa just keep on reading and try and try and find a place to get some hands experience even if you dont get paid for now. also subcribe to oracle magazine its free and hey cabali long time

Roma can beat Arsenal over the two legs.

With the injuries to Fabregas &Adebayor,it will be hard for Arsenal to stop Roma even if Totti won't play.
I think it will be similar to the Sevill a vs Arsenal encounter last season in spain.

But Wenger might want to act a hypocrite. He may try to 'soak' pressure and play defensive.
Do you watch Serie A at all? Roma are the weakest of the lot! they can't defend to save their lives

We should beat Roma over 2 legs barring any unforeseen circumstances
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: UCL:Internazionale(0) Vs Manchester United(0) On Tuesday 24 February by A40(m): 2:14am On Feb 24, 2009
I think it would be rather naive to rule out Inter i am not saying its a given Inter would win but Mourinho does have Fergie's number! 6 wins 5 draws and 2 losses one of which include the Community Shield game Utd won on PK's

Also United's injury woes at the backline could be crucial whether Inter take advantage is another matter but with Rafael,Vidic,Evans all out there might be problems

Bottomline is Utd have to make sure they don't lose at San Siro a draw would suit them just fine
The question is. . . . .Who hasn't missed sitters after sitters this season??
I am not too sure many strikers have missed the kind of sitters that Adebayor has so far this season and if you add that to the fact that he wanted to be paid like Henry at the start of the season and the fact that his wages where almost tripled don't you think its only normal for fans like us to be a bit more critical of his performances thus far which have been pure Gar-Barge at times

I am very keen on seeing the line-up Wenger puts out tomorrow i am pretty confident we can get a good result if Arsene gets his selection right as Roma would not come to the Emirates to defend which suits us perfectly
