birdman: This f**l fouled a big man at half court! What kind of nonsense is that. They should add a public flogging on top that fine In the final minute of a blowout loss. I'm really tired of these fake tough guys, that was how Westbrook too was doing the other day only to find out he has been hypocritical of what he was fighting against |

birdman: But these are not kids. This is a grown man's game. When you hit Jokic the way Morris did, you are sending a message. Jokic showed emotional intelligence imo. He could have clocked Morris with a punch to the temple. Or body slammed him. Otherwise you are seen as soft, and folks will test you in the playoffs where you cant afford to miss any games.
Speaking of kids, same thing. Yes, you should report things to the teacher instead of taking the law into your own hands. De-escalate if you can. But if they corner you and are about to inflict damage on you, game on. Do what you need to to get out of it. Then be the frst to report the whole story to the authorities anyways. Dont just lie down there and eat a beating trying to be emotionally intelligent. There are no rewards for coming home with a broken head. Bullies bully you until you clap back. Such is life. The infuriating thing for me was that he hit him then turned his back and was going like nothing. They say he's a Philly boy. Maybe na omo mummy wey no get street OT cos If he did that in any hood he could get killed. This is also a guy with a track record of dirty play that did the same thing some people here are dragging Jokic for There is a place for the game and a place to simply stand up for yourself as a man no matter what |

DeeMain: A big kid gets bulied by a classmate and he comes to class the next day on a shooting spree and kills 10. Intention, retaliation. Shaq and Chuck on National TV: "they got it coming. Don't mess with a big kid," and "if you hit a big kid, if he retaliates, it's all fair because the force is going to be different," literally glorifying the act, extolling violence, gloating even.
I say hogwash!
What happened to the virtue of sportsmanship? What happened to emotional intelligence? Are we not supposed to be trumpeting these?
Does sports analysts and broadcasters not have a code of conduct?
And kids watch these programs. I just wonder what we are teaching them these days.
And we are wondering why society is so decadent. Stop making malaria analogies. When you're in the heat of battle there is no telling how you respond. The ideal situation is for the initial offender not to try you in the first place. What's the correlation between taunting and mass shooting as revenge. Stop dealing in extremes to make jejune argument What was sportsmanlike about the initial foul? Or is the victim the only one allowed to show emotional intelligence? There is a reason there are self defense laws so dead this agenda |

DeeMain: I disagree, bro. How can he flop without knowing what was coming behind? It was the weight of the big man(Jokic) + the force of the push + the fact that it was unexpected (so he didn't brace himself to absorb the impact) that caused the whiplash.
Look at the pictures below and tell me it was flopping. Him go dey alright. If he can dish he should be able to take |

DeeMain: Markieff gave him a hard foul. Thumbs down Kieff. Is the punishment for a hard foul death? Jokic could have given him a serious neck injury or worse killed him. His head snapped back: a whiplash can lead to serious complications.
Reaction >>>>> Action.
I understand Jokic's intention though, he wanted to send a message to the NBA.
Fair enough punishment by the NBA in my opinion. Lmaoo killed him?? Like barging into Jokic like that couldn't have broken his ribs and punctured his lungs, His flopping was what led to the Whiplash. I would sympathize with any other player not the Morris brothers, two of the dirtiest players in the league. Literally Maybe if he apologized like a man instead of turning his back on him like a kitten he would have seen the retaliation coming. Any basketball court in the world if Morris tried that he would get knocked out whether he faced him or turned his back |

Roland17: Roy Keane is part of the problem. I thought Roy would say 'I would grab him and force him to resign". Is Fred the biggest problem with United? I thought he would even mention Magawaya if he was to make his "akara analysis" of scapegoating but of course, he mentions Fred. If you like add Messi to this squad, as long as Ole Gullum remains coach, you will continue to lose scandalously.
The other day, Scholes was on Pogba's case, Pogba no play today so I await who dem go blame. You see those una DNA ex players, na dem be the problem, not even the fans. They have the mic, the attention of the public and they have abused it, all in the name of protecting DNA or their stupid generation of ex-United players. Damian Lillard done fell off Roland17: Here is an excerpt from the GOAT about the situation
Aaron Rodgers made his first public comments Friday after testing positive for COVID-19. The Green Bay Packers quarterback made his usual appearance on "The Pat McAfee Show," where he spoke about the "woke mob" and "cancel culture" while explaining why he has not been vaccinated.
McAfee gave Rodgers an open floor to start the discussion. Rodgers began by blaming the "woke mob" for coming at him.
"I realize I'm in the crosshairs of the woke mob right now," Rodgers said. "So before my final nail gets put in my cancel culture casket, I think I would like to set the record straight on so many of the blatant lies that are out there about myself."
Rodgers said he did plenty of research on the vaccines, but discovered he is allergic to something in the mRNA (Pfizer and Moderna) vaccines. He said the Johnson & Johnson vaccine became his only option, but when that got pulled in April because of blood clotting issues, he sought other treatments based on conversations with his medical team.
https://www.yahoo.com/sports/aaron-rodgers-discusses-positive-covid-19-test-im-in-the-crosshairs-of-the-woke-mob-right-now-173236045.html Lool why is Aaron Fraudgers gaslighting himself. People are only on his back because he lied to everyone and was needlessly vague. He needs to resist the urge to salaye because he's not doing us, he's doing his teammates and the organization |

This Simmons saga is getting super interesting. They have gone back to fining him for each game he misses moving forward. Kudos to Phiily for showing some balls. Even better Philly have not missed him one bit. I've always maintained they have grossly overrated Ben Simmons's importance. If a guy like Tobias Harris can't at bare minimum be a Middleton to Embiid's Giannis then it begs the question why you got him a max deal. They should use this season to groom Maxey, Thybulle and simply drive the pettiness home to Simmons. Man's showed up to try and game the system and they need to treat his fuckup |

Roland17: I am disappointed in the GOAT. We are pursuing a SB and you decided to get “immunized” whatever that means and not vaccinated. Worsestill, he has not been following the protocols established for players who are unvaccinated, thereby putting everyone at risk. This one pain me I no go lie. I don’t know where we go from here. If he chooses to remain unvaccinated, it’s his choice but that will definitely complicate things. Like I always say. There are so many things that don't make Aaron Fraudgers in the GOAT conversation but here is just another example. Not just the on field performance but the intangibles. What would it have cost him to be upfront. At least Kyrie was. Anyway anything that makes sure the season ends in tears for the Packers is fine with me. However I'd rather Aaron Fraudgers lose on the field instead of on some technicality |

birdman: He always said if Klay comes back, he would switch.
I have been saying it since before season began that the Warriors are a bigger threat than anyone else in the West, including Suns. Folks though I was just trying to downplay Lakers and hype someone else. I have been proven correct. Meanwhile Westbrook remains an eternal bust, and Melo is even more useful than Westbrick.
I also rated the Grizzlies and Nuggets aahead of Lakers, for which A40 and his crew tried to crucify me. Again, we have 3 weeks of stats showing I was more right than wrong.
The Lakers DO NOT have a big 4. They have a big 2, one of whom is aging and the younger is too lazy to pick up the mantle. As I said before, the only hope they have of even competing is to play lockdown D. They have as assistant coach with that specialty, but we need to start seeing it in the PPG they hold teams to. I want to see them play a young Grizzlies team and hold them to under 100. Then I will know Lakers have a shot in the west. You have been proven correct after 6 games The Lakers blew huge leads in all their 3 losses. You've been proven correct my ass Westbrook has been Westbrook he has not been exponentially better or exponentially worse. You have not been proven right anything and this is just 2 weeks in. I repeat the Lakers could easily be 8-0 if they didn't blow double digit leads in the 3rd quarter in 2 of their 3 losses. Sorry but any team with Russell Westbrook as its 3rd best player will always be a threat to win it all and the Lakers have been coping despite missing their wing depth. You people don't need to be deliberately dishonest and magnify little growing pains every team is dealing with in a new season. Lmaoo you rated a team with Desmond Bane, Kyle Anderson and Steven Adams better than the Lakers The other day we saw the Bucks and some team take a combined 96 3's and you're there talking about holding a team to under 100. You are a dreamer |

birdman: This kind of senseless tragedy is very painful. What a waste of life!
On the question you asked: Money is an amplifier, in a scary way many of us will never experience. We all think if we were in his shoes we wouldnt do such. But go check the lives of lottery winners if you want a taste of how destructive it can get. A 22 year old fresh out of poverty with a milli in cash sitting in the bank is a disaster looking for where to happen. And with that kind of money, no one will tell you no or caution you for fear of losing out of cash award. When you have that kind of money, you dont need to do something really bad. Just do your usual and your money will amplify it for you.
On your solution to the problem: No matter how strict the sentencing gets, you cant stop this. Alcohol is a drug, just that its legal. and once it has impaired your judgement, you think less of the consequences. Most people are disciplined enough to know when to stop. But there is always that guy that cant stop. Just like how no matter how many bouncers and screeners you put in the club, there is always that guy that will fight. Alcohol has a subtle way of medicating pain, and you will never take away those type of DWIs.
When I see Lebron's crew and how they managed that wealth and fame at a young age, with no father figure we know of, Im always in awe. Someone has to teach you these things, its not automatic. Don't get me wrong we all made mistakes in our younger years, but a professional athlete knowing the nature of the league especially the NFL where you can get cut at the drop of a dime should be making better choices. In Yoruba we have a saying "Ayo lo ma n pa yan" (Na joy dey kill person) I don't like bringing up the race card but why is this behavior mostly prevalent among us blacks. The poverty angle I understand but shouldn't that motivate you more to behave. With this guy in particular his reckless behavior and speeding while driving is well documented on his girlfriend's youtube channel. He also had a loaded gun in his car. Its why every young man needs some sort of influence in his life whether positive or negative so you know what to aspire to and what not to aspire to Nothing is ever going to be stopped I know this but with a harsher sentence you at least know what's on the line if you're caught. It might even reduce the number of deaths. For example you know if you smuggle cocaine into a place like Singapore na guillotine get you straight!! so you know you're ready to die if you wan carry drugs go there. I saw somewhere that somebody dies every 52 mins from a DUI crash in the US. Yet there are lesser crimes carrying much more severe punishment. I am saying that there needs to be harsher sentences for people that cross certain alcohol limits and man a vehicle because clearly you intend to kill yourself and others in that freeway. |

Khanben: A young man with money living in Vegas, it is quite understandable that you would want to have fun and enjoy yourself sometimes, but just a little more thought of the possible consequences of his actions, would have saved him all of this problems. He should just have used an Uber or a chauffeured car if he wants to show off. I tell all my guys this, if you are going out and drinking is involved leave the car and get an Uber even if your car ends up getting towed because you parked in the wrong place, it is still a whole lot cheaper than the worst case scenario which is what happened to Ruggs. Ruggs just threw away generational wealth because of alcohol The irony of it all is there is nothing that could happen to him now even if he lost all he was worth, it will signicantly pale in comparison to the horrific fate that the victim suffered. This is why I have zero empathy for drunk driving or drivers. He could have killed 3 people in that crash including himself. No way he shouldn't do at least 15-30 years of time just to serve as a deterrent to others. That drunk and at that speed you might as well be a mass shooter because I don't see any difference between both of you. Hell a gun shot would have been a less traumatic way to go plus if there were 4 people in that lady's car. All 4 would have died |
