kendrick9: Put Hummels in this present bayern team and they would win the champs lge too. The Bayern he was in had some problems like the reliance on an aged robbery and also coaching instability Whose fault is it that he ran from competition when he was told starting shirt was no longer guaranteed? By the final season of Hummels, Robbery had already been phased out and Coman and Gnabry were starting. Try another excuse |

It's like the Bundesliga is a bigger challenge than some of these CL teams
This Musiala will make a very good #10. I'm highly impressed. If Müller is ever out long term this boy is ready
Champions League Coman is really a different beast
Alphonso Davies has had an immense game as well. Almost looks like he is playing with small boys |

kendrick9: That he hasn't started well for Liverpool(other factors have also contributed to this) doesn't mean he wasn't brilliant at Bayern.. I remembered the Bayern fans and management pleading for him to stay at bayern. Let's not rewrite history just because twitterers and pundits are on his back currently... Lmaoooo who and who did you see beg him to stay on this thread? He did his bit but my issue was with you lot over hyping his contributions but unfortunately he is in England where his lack of productivity is being quickly exposed unlike at Bayern where he had a hiding place |

ddippset: You guys are just missing the point.
I dunno if Usbcable for one, is getting alert for pushing this decitful narrative once every year for the past 10 years.
I know of a lot of Oyinbo people who seriously rooted for the Super Eagles at USA 94 and also at Atlanta 96. Those oyinbos also had their nations at these 2 tourneys. Now what do we say about them?
Support for teams at FIFA World Cups has never been entirely about race and nationality.
The traditional FIFA World cup teams esp; like Brazil, Argentina, Germany and Italy and lately Spain have always had good support across the world at FIFA world cups, irrespective of Messi; irrespective of skin colour And that's because back then the competition was more popular than the champions league we all love today. It was our biggest opportunity to see our best players in the pitch and see the best football.
So generation to generation these big teams especially have always had massive support from fans across Africa at World Cups. And trust me there is a good number who did that because they didn't have any belief in their home nation while many did because they saw the best football and the best players from these big teams.
Even at the Euros where there is no Naija, some of us always have a team we root for. It's football.
But agreeably times have changed. There is more focus on club football but those tendencies would take some time.
Millions of Naija fans support certain teams at World Cups and Euros, Fact.
But again, I don't think anyone would support any other Nation in a head to head match against the Super Eagles. Nothing wrong with all you have said here but who are the oyinbos that would root for Nigeria ahead of their own country if they ever met head to head. That's simply not true In the olden days it made sense to support a powerful footballing nation regardless of your nationality but in these modern times with the advent of globalization it's asinine to me to see a Black man, a Nigerian man support Argentina of all countries even ahead of your country. A country you have no ties to and worse do not parade your kind in any sporting endeavor. You're rooting for them simply because they parade a player that will soon leave your club. Is that not foolishness? Because I know he will not support the same set of players he swore were holding Messi back when Messi leaves Barca My question to the Muppets who support Argentina of all countries ahead of their own is what's the appeal? |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by A40(m): 5:02am On Feb 23, 2021 |
jpmoriarti: Nonsense!
Must everything be about blacks or whites? This is racism or worse, inferiority complex.
For avoidance of doubt, I do not support Nigeria in the world cup because they do not have good footballers compared to Argentina for example. This is my choice. It is not based on color of skin. Mugu. It's not about race or complex. It's common sense. What are you doing rooting for a team representing a society that doesn't want any of your kind even in this modern era. To the point that they are one of the only teams in South America that don't parade your kind. Listen goofy. Do you know how crazy you would sound to an Argentine if you told him you support Argentina wey no dey parade your kind ahead of your country? They will laugh you out of the stadium like the clown that you are. Omugo. You dey support Argentina because of Messi wey go soon comot your team. Shior |

Say what you want about Harden but few players can carry a team in the regular season like that guy. The fact that they have sorted the PG/SG roles so quickly is a pointer that the team is headed in the right direction. Because Harden can average 12 assists a game in his sleep with that lineup. Of course defenses will tighten up in the playoffs but you're definitely going to have to budget 120-130 a night to beat that team |

Gnabry, Costa, Goretzka, Muller(Covid) are doubts. The only fit wingers are Sane and Coman we know say na brisket bones those ones get
This weekend vs Frankfurt I just hope for no injuries I've left it in the hands of God. Especially with this our atrocious defense. Immobile and Caicedo would be salivating Costa is definitely out, Gnabry is bang out of form I would rest the full squad for the league match if I were Flick. Nobody is catching us in the league |

Seems I missed out on the Sextuple festivities. Pep's proposal was a funny one.
Anyways my thoughts are with my guy BoaTANK in these difficult times. Sad his ex did that to herself. Everyone needs a coping mechanism because she's the second 25 year old I've seen commit suicide this year alone. It's really rough out there
Welcome Upamecano. I'm not mind blown by him but with Alaba and BoaTANK potentially leaving we can do worse.
That Bielefeld game was a really wacky one. Bayern fans better have your pacemaker handy this rest of the season especially in the Champions League |

but my own way of expressing LOVE AND APPRECIATION to Those that deserve it is by ALLLOWING THOSE PEOPLE ENJOY OTHER STUFFS THEY LOVE IN THEIR OWN WAYS.
If u truly appreciate what these great guys do on this thread about the beautiful game of Basketball, you would also allow them deviate to other stuffs(sports) they know about and love in their own ways.
Get my drift?
A40(Grand Lengend), Eruditor, Aliondo, Steady986, Roland17, SmooshCHN , mynd44, donlittle25, chic2pimp , etidy to name just a few Legends down here. They have brought back memories of the game that brought tears down my eyes.
It would be very selfish of me to frown towards them enjoying other stuffs they know/love besides basketball in their own ways.
I would rather feel very guilty like I do everyday for not contributing as much as they do.
you guys on this thread are simply the best.
