He is forcing it.. He has been told it is the next important step he needs to take and he is in a rush to add that skill, forgetting it takes time and more importantly off season training and technique.
He needs to focus on his FT if you ask me rather than 3’s.

Kind of reminds me of Giannis who instead of focusing on improving his FT% is out there jacking up 3’s in a bid to expand his game and become un-guardable. Ironically, because of the way he plays, he would always find himself at the free throw line during critical moments of a game and will flop..We have seen this over and over again.

For both players, improving their FT is more important than the 3’s they have been jacking, more so for Giannis because they would always find themselves at the FT line because of how they play.

Giannis-57% FT%
Doncic-74% FT%

He would be averaging 35 a night if he cut down his 3 attempts to no more than 4 a game. At this point he's a horrendous 3pt shooter doing Westbrook numbers and it's hurting his overall efficiency.

It's insane too that someone so ridiculously skilled is so mid at free throws. Maybe the basketball gods leveling the playing field

Allen is a role player at best. A guy like him can never be the difference between winning and losing a title. Holding on to Harris and Dinwiddie was more important IMO

They can get veteran glue guys like Ariza or any other defensive wingman that can shoot

They do have an entire season to figure out how to play together, and at least 2 of their superstars are not load managers a la Kawhi. So they will build up chemistry.

Main concern should be defense and the ball distribution and even coaching. I am no sure Nadh can handle that , but these are lesser problems.

I still think Brooklyn won this trade sha. Being able to hold on to Kyrie and Dinwiddie and they still have small cap space to get one or two more bodies. They didn't lose nearly as much as I thought they would have

I think they are going to. Harden Kyrie and Durant on the floor is too much, all need the ball. You trade Kyrie and get pieces that dont need the ball to be successful. Plus you save some drama

KD on the other hand can play off the ball. Even Kyrie. The only absolutely ball dominant guy there is Harden. Personally I'm more worried about their mental makeup and how they respond when things don't go their way. KD is sensitive but low maintenance

Kyrie and Harden on the other hand are two of the most high maintenance divas in the league. I'm expecting that we see the best of Harden again now that he's gotten what he wants anyway.

Meanwhile they are people that swear Kyrie is acting up on purpose so he didn't get included in a potential trade.
