This for me is certainly Izzy's most difficult and hardest hitting opponent. I see so much of Bones in Izzy though and I feel like any style you want he can give you. Overall I just feel the reach advantage Izzy has would tell as the fight goes on and Izzy scores the win

@A40

You no dey watch the NHL playoff? Your Pengs are struggling with the forecheck of the Islanders. How about the lightening surrendering a 3 goal lead and lose to the Jackets. I Dey enjoy the early upsets.

Since my Blackhawks are on vacation, I Dey support my usual.. Any team that has P.K Subban grin
I saw highlights. Our defensemen Maata and Letang cost that game. If I see Maata in that lineup Game 2 we are losing that game for sure. What an errorist

These Jackets na initial gra gra. Na so them do last year. Won Games 1 and 2 on the road then lost 4 straight. However this one they were crowning the Lightning Stanley Cup Champions. It never works that way. The playoffs are a different beast

Some really good matchups this year. Jets and the Blues and Golden Knights vs Sharks

OKC just hit the jackpot! With the 6th seed they avoid Golden State till potentially the Conference Finals.

Likely now though we are probably going to see a Rockets, Warriors second round. That loss on Tuesday night dooms the Rockets to that fate

However something tells me the Nuggets might give OKC problems (spoiler alert: Nuggets to beat Spurs)

@A40 people hating on westbrooks triple dubs grin. I have to say though, WB's stats dont have the effect that a triple double should.

So I went and looked it up. It turns out Westbrook is top 10 in rebounds. Top 5 in defensive rebounds, but not in the top 50 for offensive rebounds shocked shocked. So those rebounds are not carrying the weight the should...there should be a healthy mix of 2 or 3 OREB in 10 total rebounds for a center/forward.

This means Westbrook is more really a double double guy, 20pts, 10 assists. Still rock solid, all star material. But not the type of rating the triple dubs are giving him
Triple dubs are really so watered down now I don't put too much stock to it. It's so easy to generate with zero consequence to actual outcome of the game I no too send am

The way Russell chases it, dragging rebounds with his bigs has spoiled the fun for me

The NHL playoff is here.

Consecutive seasons without making the postseason is no joke for my Blackhawks. We need to go into the draft with a different direction. I think the core of Kane and Toews can still good runs as shown in the pursuit of the wildcard spot but they ran out of energy and burst because we relied heavily on both. We need to find a way to continue to help DaBrincat who was my player of the year to continue to grow so he can become that 3rd corner piece.
Your team lacks depth. Gone are the days where you are good with performance from just your top 2 lines. Your 3rd and 4th line has to bring something to the table.

I also think your defensemen especially Brent Seabrook is pretty much finished. You guys don't have an NHL caliber goalie either so I don't know what miracle can happen even next year. The decline has been slow and steady since that suprise Preds sweep

I was impressed by the recent poll results that showed 73% of players currently think MJ is the GOAT. You would notice that the players who actually play this game are unanimous about who the GOAT is both present and retired. It's so-called analysts that will always have contrary opinions

Secondly why y'all do my boy Russ like this?

Funny i read his story just a few days back.

The few times ive been to europe, especially the non english speaking countries, you will just see young unemployed black youth chilling like an eyesore everywhere. selling fake trinkets then running once police is near. Honestly they all looked like giannis. dark, tall, bushy hair. Only difference is Giannis found a way out.

Giannis understands poverty in a way an American cannot. The young man appears to have his head on straight. More power to him.

I don't know why you would want to chill with him when your aim should be to dethrone him. Especially if you're supposed to be a generational talent like Anthony Davis (in a way that's what would always keep KD out of the GOAT discussion)

I read Giannis's story. The kid is all about the basketball man. He's not here for Hollywood or GQ life

Magic steps down as president of basketball operations of the Lakers.

When he was hired I made it clear that it was an emotional decision by the Lakers and his subsequent actions proved me right.

What would be his legacy as an NBA executive though? Bringing an already washed LeBum to LA? Not making the postseason while he was there or how he almost sold the future of the Lakers for pieces of silver in New Orleans?

The guy was all mouth as an executive. This is the best decision the Lakers have made in a very long time.
Books will be written on how not to "Basketball Operations" using Magic as an example. It's insane that the GOAT PG did such a terrible job constructing and evaluating talent it's unreal and worse than Maradona in World Cup 2010

You need to read the breakdown of just how many gaffes he made. While I wouldn't exonerate Luke for his dodgy coaching, Magic's decision making left him no chance. I mean they let Brook Lopez walk and Milwaukee paid $3.3m for him, the Lakers didn't even make an offer while they spent a combined $25m on Rondo, Stephenson and KCP. Lopez played all 81 games and has made 60 more 3's than LA's best shooter. From the Center position!

Real Madrid won't meet Hazard price
Real Madrid are unwilling to meet the €116 million (£100m/$130m) asking price set by
Chelsea , according to the Daily Mail.
However, the club is asking Hazard to force his way into making his dream move by publicly stating his intentions to leave Stamford Bridge for Madrid.
All parties believe a deal will be finalised, but it remains to see what price will be paid for the Belgian star.

From goal.com

Real Madrid will not pay the £100m asking price of Chelsea winger Eden Hazard this summer but will instead ask him to force his dream move.

Sky sports.

This was the reason he didn't leave last summer. He doesn't want the courtious situation
Chai. Madrid is like that man who keeps sampling the Ukwu without wanting to pay bride price. Is this the team Hidden Shakushaku is crying to go to? They clearly don't rate him

Essentially they are telling him to elope instead of just paying his bride price which is a pittance in today's transfer market for a player with his supposed pedigree.

Nick is trying to hold a job. Sharpe is for real.

On big ben, AB is not the only person he had issues with. What of Bell, who is more level headed. The QB cannot be spreading blame for team losses, chain of command or not. Brady doesnt do it. Rogers doesnt do it. Ben has an overinflated sense of his worth - he even likes to put mouth into other players contract issues. And that is why AB, as bad as he is, had some locker room support.

This is partly the owners doing, condoning this crap and partly the coach's doing, trying to be the fun players coach. But I'm not sure the coach can do much though, we all know who writes the checks. Is Ben's contract not coming up soon? E go hear am from AB
Nick is unbearable. His wack takes cut across all sports and even non LeNomad issues

Bell? What issues did he have with Bell? Anyway I don't see the need to keep dragging about two disgruntled elements who have left, gotten paid and still bitter. I have increased respect for Ben for taking the high road and keeping mute all this time. There is nothing those two quitters would say that should hold any value especially with this show of madness by AB. Anybody still in doubt that these guys were the problem is just not being sincere

Ben didn't say AB was responsible for the loss. He only suggested AB ran a better route, that's all he said! Perhaps the medium was inappropriate but that's a guy that has thrown you 70+ TD's and 11k yards. Big Ben played a huge role in making him whether he likes it or not.

Who are the players contract issues he has put mouth in? He's yet to say a word

Aaron Rodgers? The same Aaron Rodgers that got Mike McCarthy fired and called him a buffoon in private? Lmaooooo

There is nothing the owners did wrong here, AB was duly compensated as at when due. And if he wanted more money you could have done it without driving your trade value to the ground, Julio Jones, Russell Wilson. Do they have two heads?

Recent events show me we were dealing with a psychopath all this time. I have always known and said it here that AB was never a team guy and always about his numbers. I didn't know it was this bad

Ben will get paid for sure

Big Ben is not perfect, but in any organization there is always a chain of command. You might be an otherworldly talent but by virtue of position alone you will not have the cache of a Quarterback. Now when that Quarterback has actually won two Superbowls and a 15 year veteran to boot, to suggest you're an equal is laughable.

I'm thankful he has left the team and looking back now we should have let him go sooner. You can never win with these types of diva receivers, never

Just the same way you're trying to blame Lebron for KCP's poor 3 shooting and not credit him for KCP's good long 2 shooting. If a grown man fails to make open 3s, it's not Lebron's fault. Good for him if he made 2 long twos yesterday or torched the Jazz, everybody has his day. It seams all you can do is bring out singular games and incidents to buttress your invalid points
Story. You can't even prove LeNomad is responsible for his good long 2 shooting. Merely judging by the larger sample size it's obvious LeNomad is likelier to be blamed and involved in KCP'S bad 3pt shooting (which I never did anyway, till you tried to credit LeNomad for a good game KCP had) than KCP's good long 2 shooting

I have brought out singular games and if you add those singular games up it makes my point glossier. All you have done is jumble incoherent stats that you cannot even prove LeNomad influenced. Prove LeNomad directly influenced the 39 makes from 16ft to just behind the 3pt line. I just showed you a game he attempted 3 and made 2

You're here whining about the amount, and I'm telling you he's making 49% as opposed to 35% last season. Do you think he just suddenly got better at the long twos? Even Curry that has played almost twice as many minutes as KCP has made only 64 long twos, which is less than one per game. And he's making it at 43% which is less than KCP's 49. Guy, I don tire for this your argument.
Noooooooo. the spirit of LeNomad entered his soul and suddenly he acquired the ability to make long two's. That's why he was able to make 2 last night from 3 attempts even in LeNomad's absence

What makes your point all the more laughable. You're crediting a guy that has missed 26 games for KCP's stat that rounds out at less than 0.5 makes per game. Yet the larger sample size of 3's you're disclaiming because it doesn't favor your guy. This is clowning at its peak

He's still making a substantial amount of long twos, so whether it reduced or not is not relevant. It also tells that he is probably taking more good look and open twos rather than just taking any shot that comes his way. This is as a result of the double-teaming on Lebron which will make KCP and other teammates freer. Don't you get it? If he goes on at that rate, it will still be 49%.
Lmaooo are you hearing yourself at all? Someone made 37 long two's out of 80 games and you're here writing long story about LeNomad. Do you know what that computes to?

E say substantial amount. Hehehehe he's making less than .5 long two's per game so come and tell me more about how this double teaming is helping the teammates and why it's not reflecting on his 3pt shooting

Can you even prove that those two's came with LeNomad in the lineup? Chale stop wasting my time Biko
SportsRe: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 11:53am On Apr 07, 2019
steady986:
Lol. It's now about long twos abi, no more rim matter. But as his long twos reduced, so did his going to the rim, which kind of balances it out . And did you know that he is making 49% of his long twos (16ft to 3pt line) this year as opposed to 35% last year, which happens to be his best shot type compared to all the other distances apart from at the rim. Bro, your argument holds no water. I've told you to stop reading stats cos it's clear you don't know how to analyze them.
You're just yarning megedefegede. The point is stop giving LeNomad credit for any improvement with KCP if you will not give him blame for his decline as well.

I knew he was making it at a higher percentage. The page shows the percentage Captain Obvious. My point is the fewer longer 2's you take the likelier you are to be more efficient with it. Common sense!

Are you comparing the drop in longer two's to the drop in shots at the rim? What is your point exactly? Are you disputing the fact that cutting down long 2's generally improve a player's efficiency? Or that KCP has been doing that over the last 3 seasons.
SportsRe: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 3:41am On Apr 07, 2019
steady986:
Hian, look at the stats again. You claimed KCP is going to the rim more this season thus the 2pt% surge. But the stats say otherwise. He went to the rim more last season than this season. Do we at least agree on this one?
Leave rim matter and focus on the matter at hand. Someone has provided you Garri, you're still asking for Cassava.

The most impactful boost to his FG% over the last two years consisted of him cutting down on long 2's, since this has been unearthed stop taking us back to any rim matter that does nothing for the debate whether right or wrong

steady986:
Lol. Abeg no make me laugh. What was your original argument? Didn't you say he is attempting and making more shots at the rim this season? SMH. You just shot yourself on the foot.
Is this your fallback plan? The original argument is LeNomad should not get credit for KCP'S play (which has not been anything to shout about anyway) but it's been purely down to him. The rim bants you're on about is just you obfuscating the matter.

If you like you can keep clutching at straws. What is evident is KCP taking less longer 2's has improved his efficiency ever so slightly.

Evidence suggests that he's been progressively taking fewer of these shots before LeNomad entered the picture.
