I have one problem with all this GOAT conversations, KAJ when he was still called Lewis Alcindor was the best player in the whole league as a rookie.
Why is it only wings who are touted as GOAT's, this is the same problem I have with football where only forward and midfielders get all the respect.

Another point most persons don't take into account is the fact that the NBA now has more depth of talent than it ever had both in the 80's and 90's. So players now face tougher match ups(in terms of quality of talent) on a more consistent basis.
Lebron is IMO a top 10 player all time that's all i can give him, but i still recall the quality of oppositions MJ faced for his 6 championships, he was the favorite before every one of those finals.
Every time MJ faced a stacked team in his career they beat him from the Celtics to the Pistons
Personally I don't believe any team sport can have one concensus GOAT, for a position maybe e.g MJ is without doubt the greatest 2 guard of all time.

Does A.Brown even know how NFL trades work? He is busy rambling on social media about teams calling him up if they have guaranteed money, does he realize the Steelers alone can decide where he goes? These spots drama queens never seize to surprise me. He needs an introductory class on how NFL trades work and the contents of his old contract. If I were the Steelers, I will look for a horrible team with a bad QB and trade him there.

Secondly, tielesman was Fabinho's understudy and Monaco never had problems with him whenever he deputise for Fabinho. Moutinho wasn't essential because Monaco fans were even complaining about his non effective display compared bakayoko energetic display. It was only Lemar that gave them the X factor because he was unpredictable and his dribbling and crosses are threatening enough for opposition to either back off or crowd around him thereby giving others like Falcao the space to attack.

As for his move to Atletico, Atletico is a defensive team so don't expect enough goals nor assist from him. All he had to do is to draw opposition attention away from Griezman which he has done so far and the fans love him for that. When Atletico opened up a bit in their Copa del Rey cup matches, Lemar was their best player.

Luck was just on Mbappe because one of Mbappe and Lemar could have played as a SS for Monaco because Lemar can play that role effectively and he's more technical than Mbappe, probably that was why he was moved to the wing. If it had been Lemar deployed in the SS, it would be Lemar heralded today. Fact is Lemar gives Monaco the unpredictability which has been lacking since he left. Mbappe didn't give Monaco that.

You alluded to Fabinho and Moutinho absence being the main reason why Monaco has problem today but fact is Tielesman is more or less as good as Fabinho whenever he played for Monaco. Moutinho is no issue because he was mostly a bench warmer especially while bakayoko was there. What Monaco lacked after bakayoko left was his pace and energy which Moutinho couldn't offer but Lemar was the constant unpredictability in that team until he left.
