debosky: The wailing is more on Bayern's side TBH - you lost Kroos with arguably his years ahead of him to Real while they sold you Xabi who they've gained the best years from.
No one is wailing about him!!! This is Bayern Munich the best, biggest and most financially sound club in the world we have a very loooong conveyor belt of talent that would generate another Kroos in 2 years max! He is not worthy to hold us to ransom. Bigger players have tried and failed

As for Alonso he is a stop-gap measure albeit a very experienced and functional one (we saw him decimate this same Kroos last time they met) We have Thiago, Hojbjerg and potentially Gaudino on the fringes already and by the time Alonso's deal winds down they would be ready to take over the reins.

Tough break for my boy Paul George just too bad seeing him go out like that but I'm sure he would bounce back, letting Stephenson their 2nd best player was phoolish from the Pacers now they might as well tank and try to get a high draft pick

Getting Love was quite the coup now all that's left is to teach him and Kyrie how to play defence. Its a bit suprising that the best rebounder of the league is quite an average borderline poor defender, let's see if trading of Wiggins would pay off, the T-Wolves also have lots of youth now and with the top 2 picks in the last two drafts have a chance to build a contender

toba: And your proof that it was generated is? If you dont have any thing to say, just shut up and stop quoting me.
You can lie to yourself but you cannot lie to me. Your BS is transparent

toba: Why will it no concern the coach? Arent coaches supposed to execute their plans with materials available to them and the one they acquire?
Maybe you have forgotten that Guardiola is also an employee of Bayern and subject to decisions taken by management as well. Kroos opted not to re-sign we opted not to lose him for free end of story

toba: You say one thing and do another. I wonder why it 'torches' you in the marrow when ever i mention Toni kroos. You could have just remained mute after reading my post about him.
You are the instigator of all Toni Kroos posts on this thread. I find it infinitely annoying that you opt to drone about Kroos here when you could easily go to the Madrid thread and worship him there

toba: Still boils down to the same thing Boateng has played 3 competition and played in couple of roles, likewise, philip lahm, Arne friedrisch, lukas podolski and Bastian Schweinsteiger
Arne Friedrich only played at RB and CB stop telling lies! Podolski either LW or CF

Also none of the players you listed answers my question

toba: How do you know someone is daft?
Like Nas said it aint hard to tell

toba: lol. Abacus? I cant remember what this means
My point exactly

toba: Who should we believe? your silly thinking or imagination? or the emphatic statement of the coach? Smh
Shut up you dishonest douchegoblin!!! why didn't you post Loew's comments after the Brazil and Argentina game about why Mertesacker didn't play

toba: Ok. So was it tactically to have used Mertesacker to pair Hummels in the first games that are very crucial to Germany's qualification?
Read of it what you will but the crux of the matter is the fact that the Boa-TANK was preferred in the games that mattered the most and that was with Mertesacker fit afterall he played the entire 2nd half of the Brazil game when Loew at 5-0 thought it best not to continue with Hummels who had a knee issue

toba: Should we believe your 'common sense' instead of what the coach decides to do?

According to pseudo fitness doctor A40, who present in Brazil with the German national team
Stop talking like a sheep or a moose with no ability to use his own initiative. God gave you brains. USE IT!!!

So Mertesacker's immune system is so weak that a mere cold would render him unable to return to full fitness for almost 2 weeks

toba: What really matters is that Badstuber is actually available even sooner than most people expected and he did well when called upon to help the team. lobatan
Of course i was pleasantly suprised to see Badstuber complete 90mins after over 600 days of absence from topflight football even a neutral would be happy at such a story how much more a Bayern fan

I forgot to add that the Alonso addition gives us a proven penalty taker. Our penalty record over the last two seasons has been laughable! I'm sure we have one of the worst conversion rates in all of Europe

Lordave: Although 15 points is. Guaranteed, this our group no pure at all.
All BuLi Teams would make it though, I fear for BVB
I would be suprised if BVB don't top their group. They are easily the strongest team there

raumdeuter: We sure got our hands full with the group of death

Bayern, City, CSKA and Roma

3 German teams get the same English teams from last year
This is a very tricky group! Roma though despite losing almost all their best players have a very competent coach. We definitely have to hit the ground running
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Offical Bayern Munich Fan Thread: 6x Champions Of Europe by A40(m): 5:51pm On Aug 28, 2014
Take out Roma and you have the same group from last year. Who fixes these draws?

Bayern Munich

Man City

CSKA Moscow

And AS Roma would you believe it

Goodluck to Neuer and Robben! Having 2 Bayern players in a 3 man shortlist is enough for me

raumdeuter: Alonso making news.

Not sure of what to make of this. COs he isnt the same player he used to be, but with Schweinsteiger being injured with no return date

We cant play Gaudino and Hojbjerg in crucial games

If Alonso would accept a low wage then we should get him

I would prefer Alonso than Khedira
Looks legit! Bayern's Twitter feed has made official statements about him

I'm not totally in support of this Alonso signing but its a potentially useful one since Thiago and Fussballgott are just too damn unreliable

raumdeuter: More details filtering through is that He might be coming on a loan free.
10m over 2yrs which makes 5m/yr wages
Given that our CM is Gaudino - 17yrs, Hojbjerg -19yrs, Thiago and Schweini (Injury risks)
By the time Alonso leaves in 2yrs Hoj and Gaudino would be 21 and 19 respectively
if this move means Lahm spends more time on the right then I say JUST DO IT
The last part of your post is the bright side I have chosen to see here. Gaudino is too featherweight/green and so is Hoj, I like Rode and IMO has looked like our best signing so far even better than Lewandowski but he has never played in elite Europe before and that's an issue

So Alonso, Benatia, Reina, Bernat, Lewandowski, Rode

Are we still signing anyone else? I don't think we need to but we need to fix our over-reliance on Robben I hope Pep opts to trust Goetze and let him run that offense give him the chance and let him play his way to consistency

raumdeuter: Juve and Bayern discussed a Shaqiri deal today. Bayern offered a straight swap of Shaqiri for Lichsteiner. Juve rejected. Bayern otherwise want 6 million for a loan this season plus a 25 million purchase option.
If they don't want to add Lichtsteiner in the deal let's just tell them to phuck off! I no go mind that Lichtsteiner for RWB at all at all, We have lost enough attacking players in this window already and only brought in Lewandowski. Even that €6m would not help us much and as bad as Shaqiri has been lately he is still an option and a useful one

Let me tell you this first so If it happens, you wouldn't say i didn't tell you.

Last night i saw Man u played a club called MK Dons. The club paraded a young talent called DELE Alli. Bayern Munich sent all the way from Germany, the chief scout to watch the guy play. Watch out for another talent grin grin grin grin grin

toba: Guy dont hurt yourself. Why would you do away with other players?
But a five star mumu like you is asking me why they still resorted to older players as if a rebuild means disbanding the entire team that were there previously

toba: So all teams must be perfect at all times or all teams are perfect right? Let me understand what youre driving at
Even a premature baby in an incubation chamber can understand what I'm driving at. What does that make you? I'll let you tell it

toba: Ok. No problem. I'll take it that this is beyond you. cheesy wink smiley
Suit yourself gee

toba: That coaches have preferences means hatred in A40's dic? great response
Which means all 100 coaches or more are unanimous in their lack of preference for Kiessling including the manager of his National team. This is not oju lasan oo! I mean what are the odds?

toba: Aren't you joining in the discussion, or im i the only one mentioning kroos was at Bayern on the internet or on Nairaland
Joining what discussion? FOH

toba: I gave you a link. In addition to that, he had said he wanted him to stay after his departure but the board didn't agree a deal with the chap over finances.
A link that coulda been generated by a klutz like yourself? Since the board did not agree then what else is there to say

toba: The mere fact that he implied it will in the future put the coaches wishes into consideration over transfer policy
How does it concern the coach? Unless he was planning on paying Kroos's salary there is no use letting him go for free when we could at least get some compensation for his exit

toba: How is it 'eediotic news' Are you a Journalist? Do you have an empirical proof that the news is false?

Then you would keep quiet If you really don't care
Someone needs to keep your buffoonery in check! Glance through my posts I really do not give a shyte about Kroos especially since he and his agents started bringing Moyes to come watch our games

toba: Young man. Dont give yourself Hypertension. Boateng played in 3 different positions. Bravo. Scweinsteiger, Arne Friedrich, Philip lahm and Lukas podolski have all played more than one position for the National team. Even Badstuber has done that for Club and country. Versatility is what distinguishes one player from the other.
You were asked a simple question, name three players who had played at CB, LB, RB in 3 major tournaments. No one asked about Schweinsteiger, Friedrich, Lahm or Podolski so why are you telling me this story for the gods when a more sensible response could have been you couldn't think of anyone atm?

You scoff at the Boa-TANK's abilities but you cannot mention anyone who accomplished similar feats

toba: Versatility is what distinguishes one player from the other.
Tell me something I don't know Captain Obvious

toba: lol.. Young man, I'm really enjoying this. If you are acquainted with the legal profession, you would know that in the absence of any other contrary decision, opinion or fact, the status quo remains valid, until otherwise proven. The coach said couple of things, so we will have to go back to him to seek why he remained with Boateng and why he chose a fully fit Mertesacker in the first 2 games to pair the rock hummels.
What does this have to do with the legal profession? Why are you so unbelievably daft like this? This is why I said you lack initiative and your brain is about as complex as an abacus. First you said Mertescatter had a cold then you said Boa-TANK was preferred because France had quicker strikers so tell me why did Mertescatter wind up playing at all in subsequent matches if his condition was so bad.

Who cares if he played the first two matches? You would have to be an even bigger eediot than I estimated if you did not realize it was purely tactical to enable Lahm play in midfield. If Mertesacker was better common sense dictates he shoulda remained on the pitch when Lahm returned to RB. When the tournament got hot a fully fit Boa-TANK benched a fully fit Mertesacker at all times

toba: Guy. don't kill yourself. Take a chill pill ok? No one knows what you have in your mind, except you. You've argued that how can i say a yet to be fit Badstuber, 'whom no one knows when he will be fit will make a dream partnership with Dante'. Sooner than later it has happened. I'm feeding you with your words.
We all saw the game on Friday I'm still wondering what was so dreamy about their partnership. Maybe you confused my skepticism about Badstuber for me claiming he would not play with Dante at all, I would not put such logic beyond you
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Offical Bayern Munich Fan Thread: 6x Champions Of Europe by A40(m): 7:55am On Aug 27, 2014
toba: Simply admit you don't know what you're saying. No qualms. The Dfb rebuilt without a resort to some of the old players right? That's why I'm asking you what you mean by the German National team was lacking in talent. Your understanding of what talent means could be different from what every other people knows.
Chei see this ignoramus ooh! So in your simpletonian universe you do away with all the old players that were there previously because you are rebuilding

If the talent was sufficient would there be need for a rebuild? Anyone with even one functional braincell would understand what I was driving at in my previous posts peruse them and ask someone to explain them to you! This aint special ed class

toba: Before you give yourself HBP, when did Klose join the National team?

raumdeuter: Alcantara I think is coming back in September

Read the below from a CHelsea blog about Benatia admittedly written by a biased Morrocan

http://weaintgotnohistory.sbnation.com/2014/8/17/5997829/the-indomitable-rise-of-mehdi-benatia-an-introduction

Also Roma fans are mightily pissed that he left them they are replacing him with Manolas

But getting any defender for 26m nowadays is a bargain thinking of how much other defenders were sold for this window. Even ROJOsibe that no one knew about 2 months ago was sold for over 20m Euros, never mind Mangala or calamity Luiz

Personally I have only seen like 6 games of Bennatia including the ICC tour recently and cant make a judgment
I saw a lot of Roma last season and he was exceptional tbh however my fears are 3-fold

- He has only had 2 seasons of good/very good football

- The Serie A as we all know is at its weakest atm

- Zero experience in elite Europe
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Offical Bayern Munich Fan Thread: 6x Champions Of Europe by A40(m): 12:16am On Aug 27, 2014
toba: youre still not saying anything here Young man. I simply asked what you mean by talent. From 2000-2006, Germany had no talent or what are you saying?

your point is

A40 said
Are you comparing that era to the Ribbech/Voeller and Klinsmann days when Die Nationalmannschaft was seriously lacking talent and options were fewer

What do you mean by lacking talent?
Are you literate at all? Why do you always display such a blatant inability to read between the lines or use your own initiative? Even the entire DFB decided to rebuild from ground-up around that time-frame yet this mugun is asking me what I mean by talent

You can ask google what talent means while you are at it

toba: Smh. So your yardstick for elites is to compare a player with other established stars in the world? SMH. I guess Klose that scored 5 goals at the 2002 WC most also be an elite player since the likes of Batistuta failed to score as much goals as he scored.
Whoooaaa! This guy is a suegbe oh! How does the Klose analogy work here? I'm sure Mario Gomez as at Euro 08/SA 2010 had the kind of repertoire Batistuta had prior to Korea/Japan

toba: A player must have to be wanted by Bayern and other Big teams before he can be considered a big player?
A player that cannot sniff his national team and cannot court the interest of other major clubs is not a big player

toba: The question is, who was marking Drogba at that point? Badstuber or Boateng? Which french player was marking Hummels in the dead ball situation that led to the goal? If Badstuber can be singled out for the Euro 2012 Italy goal, why not Boateng for the Drogba goal?
It doesn't matter who was marking Drogba, Boateng is not solely at fault for the Drogba goal and if you insist he is then Badstuber was also solely at fault for Balotelli's goal and unlike Badstuber the Boa-TANK has already more than made up for his 'error'

toba: I guess Pep would have to come out to tell you personally that he's not happy that Kroos left? No one is lamenting, we are only doing a review cos Kroos is gone and no more with Bayern. One can always reminiscence and put scenario into perspective. I posted an article about how Pep felt about losing the Player. Life must go on, Just like Madrid after Ozil
My friend sharrap!! Who are the we doing a review? Where did Guardiola come out to say blatantly or indirectly that he is sad to see Kroos go? Even if he said so how is this productive to our cause? I could also whine about Mandzukic leaving to but I am smart enough to know that it is an absolute waste of time. Kroos is gone! Dun cri dun beg

toba: Next time, you'll shut. You're not a reporter or a journalist, but trying to say a news is false without having an empirical proof to make such claim, is equal to playing to the gallery
Abeg stop posting such eediotic news on this thread! No one gives a shyte about Kroos and I don't see how discussing Kroos is germane to our club right now

toba: Abeg shut up. We were talking about versatility, which is what led to you requesting for a list of players that have played 3 roles in the back line. Its not out of place to inform you that lahm apart from playing wings backs also played a third role in the midfield. Arne Friedrich also played couple of roles in major tournaments, just as Schweinsteiger and Lukas podolski.
You are a ret@rd! The more you post the more you show how stoopid you are! Simple English is tedious for you! If you won't give Boa-TANK credit for performing in 3 different defensive positions a feat you failed to list another player that achieved similar you could at least keep quiet and stop sounding dimmer and dimmer each passing minute. Lahm did not play CB, Friedrich never played LB. Why you are listing Schweinsteiger and Podolski I don't know

toba: Ask Joachim low, who said his players had cold. Only him would explain better the reason for leaving Mertesacker on the Bench in the subsequent games. We say what a fit Mertesacker did for Arsenal on Saturday
Really Joachim Loew said his players had cold from the 30th of June to the 13th of July? Who cares about what he did for Arsenal? I want to know that cold that would leave a full-grown man on the bench for 2 weeks. My friend FOH! You are disgracing Bayern fans

toba: Im sure it must have pained you really hard to see him come back so soon, cos i can remember you ignorantly argue that how sure I'm i that he can regain fitfulness to pair Dante. I said by January 2015 at most. Opening day, he's back. Shame on you

True but he would still be significantly cheaper than Benatia plus he is also experienced and won't stay injured forever

Paying €30m for a 27 year old defender with pretty much 1 good season under his belt and coming from a relatively weak Serie A league is not a smart move IMO

mhuyil: Funny there's not 100% winning style. I feel Wildcard is best utilised when some teams will play twice in a gameweek. Then, you can load your team with players that will earn you 2game points in a gameweek.

It is almost totally wrong to use it after gameweek1.
You say there is no 100 percent winning style yet you claim it is totally wrong to use a wildcard after gameweek 1. If a team is playing twice you can always plan ahead for such eventuality

It was a good game of football. Wolfsburg certainly played their part

Key points for me

- If anything happens to Robben this season we are royally phucked

- Glad to see Badstuber complete 90 mins and compete at a high level. Toba's chicanery aside it felt good to see him play after 20 months and no true Bayern fan can argue otherwise

- Neuer needs to take time! E be like say that keeper-sweeper thing done dey get to him head

- Lewandowski was awful today! Not just him though because we were far too wasteful IMO but Lewandowski missed some absolute gifts today. Mandzu's goal against Atleti was like a dagger to my heart. Damn you Guardiola! This was a cat that actually wanted to play for us

- The ref and linesman are imbec!les for canceling Rode's goal

- Goetze struggled but was taken out too soon he looked like he was nursing an injury. I sincerely hope it is not so

- Was Alaba supposed to be the 3rd CB? With the way he bombed forward in the first half it was awfully hard to tell

raumdeuter: Gaudino with an impresive debut. For a 17yr old this is massive

He wasnt even born when Tupac died
I liked his composure in the middle he played a lot better than in pre-season

BTW why don't we go for Nastasic? Isn't that a more astute signing than €30m for Benatia? I'm not suprised sha going by Guardiola's woeful transfer history

U1: It's pardonable in your own case. But for veterans like Ibime and A40, huh? huh I still think game week 1 is insufficient to judge players you want to keep long term. Some players could turn out to be one-hit wonder.
Wildcards are IMO used to arrange your core group of players, it really doesn't matter which week its done and being miserly about it doesn't give you any distinct advantage. If it were back when you had just one wildcard then maybe but since there's another January I should be fine

toba: That's a personal comment of a young chap on Nairaland. Many Bayern fans still do and even the coach is still bitter he left, coupled with the situation of injury crises
The coach came out and said he is bitter Kroos left? Of course Kroos fanboys are ok to whine about his exit they can even go one step further and join him in Madrid! I however fail to see the use in lamenting about a player who has left and is no longer Bayern's business

toba: Whats the big deal in that? Lets start another lengthy debate on this. Im fully ready to take you to any limit on this
Not worth my time sorry

Friedrich did not play at DM in any major tournament. I remember I was specific about the position in review so stop displaying your poor understanding of English as I never said there weren't players that could play at other positions

toba: Go and read the link again. Per Mertesacker had cold and the coach said some of his players were tired. So whats the big deal. Will you prefer to have had a half fit player at the expense of a fit player?
You mean Mertesacker had cold from the 30th of June till the 13th of July? You are an embarrassment!

nitlad: You are a full time simplëton, already wallowing in a very large circumference of shıt and squalor. No one would touch you with a lengthless pole.

So all the bitterness-laden posts bescumbering your already filthy thread are simply "used to rile up Toba"? lolololololol grin cheesy grin

Surely, a much more larger mass of your brain is made up of pus than initial scans revealed. grin
Hallucinogens are presently torturing the last of your functional braincells

Look at this ebinna talking about squalor a cross you have been carrying since your first intake of oxygen

The same Kroos everyone not named Toba insisted was not worth the wages he demanded and could phuck off to the Caucasus if he so wished?

You are an indefatigable phool! And your stoopidity makes you a danger to yourself and an affliction to everyone around you
