@Debosky: Wenger has contradicted himself so many times its hard to say precisely what is going on! Our problem is basically a combination of players,tactics and motivation! Is the board to blame for our inability to beat Birmingham or getting knocked out of 3 competitions in 2 weeks on more than one occasion? Peeps like Duduspace thought this was Arsenal's strongest squad yet! At this rate it is only a matter of time before our players are undesirable in the transfer market! As for getting a new deal I hope u realize performances on the pitch go a long way to give u negotiating power

@Slimshay: You make it sound like El Jefe abducted Wenger's family members and made him sign these players! No be Wenger select all these so-called tools? This team is more or less the fairest reflection of Wenger than any other so if u feel struggling to finish 4th every other season only to get to a UCL we might never win is success to u then I think you are giving Wenger too much credit @Debosky When a manager refuses to fix loopholes in a team time and time again I don't think there is any harm in trying someone else! What would it matter if Pat Rice got the axe? Its not like we've won anything with him! As for tools what really does Wenger lack? IMO Wenger has it really good at Arsenal! His job is every coaches dream and I am wrong let him swap places with Mourinho or Ancelotti who have to deal with overbearing owners and sporting directors never mind their unrealistic expectations

Have u for once given it a thought that that might be his destiny?? To set the foundation and for someone else to build on it? Please there was Arsenal before Arsene and there would be Arsenal long after he is gone! Where we not discussing these issues this time last season? What really has changed? TBH after failing to win that CC final I more or less gave up any hope of us winning anything! Saturday's loss more or less put the nail in the coffin!
Diaby is just not Arsenal grade! He is not Vieira and would never be as for guys like RVP methinks having injury prone players is not the problem the problem is building a team around them! RVP is too productive to be left out of the team the key is not building the team around him! My biggest reason tho for wanting Wenger out is his inability to motivate the team! Its not enuff to talk tough to the press! What do u say in the dressing room? Before the game,after the game when the team is losing or winning its those little details that matter

I get his point but let's give Wenger some credit not all his defensive signings where bad! My problem is the team does not defend as a collective and that is also a coaching problem! Its not always what you do with the ball that wins u matches its what u do without it!
As for the run-in I just don't know how a back-line of Almunia,Clichy,Kosileyin and Squillaci can go on and win the title! Its possible but errm not LIKELY

I am sure George Graham also bought the likes of Ashley Cole,Sol Campbell,Kolo Toure,Lauren and Jens Lehmann! Wenger might not be a tactical genius but Ibime is chatting megedefegede at the moment

Fast-forward 3 years and Wenger STILL hasn't signed a proper holding midfielder!!! We can curse Denilson all day but the fact is he isn't a DMF.

Now i know money is tight and all, but the truth is Wenger could have spent 8-12m max to get a someone to adequately fill that massive void in the side, instead we are waiting for Frimpong/Couquelin to come good. I'm all for youth development but i don't see why that cant be complemented with ONE good signing in such a critical area. . . SMH!

Lol sometimes i wonder if Wenger is not too stingy to buy a spare tire for his car. Our loss to Birmingham in the CC and the way we throw away leads consistently over the last 3 seasons tells me these problems go beyond the players. A well-coached team would not consistently make these errors! Look at Barca of the 06/07 season and look at them now if you want to see the difference coaching can make! Even Moses did not follow the Israelites to the Promise Land   (Thats food for thought dawg get a plate)

Honestly one would need to be on a life-threatening amount of barbiturates to believe this Arsenal team can still win something this season! Vermaelen is most likely out for the rest of the season and with Djourou's shoulder out of service we face fielding a back-line of Kosileyin,Squillaci and Almunia for the rest of the season. Surely there must be a hex on this team

When a team is up 4-0 and go on to lose that lead in less than 30 mins it tells you a lot of things about that team and the coach considering this is the 3rd straight season we are throwing away 2 goal leads or more.

Utd defended well but not well enough to keep a clean sheet. No matter how many accusing fingers we point at the players! In the end this is Wenger's team! He signed every single player! So if he gets the plaudits when he is successful he should definitely get the stick when he is not

What can these nuccas do to win that game at Ojoro Trafford on Saturday? Cos whoever wins that game would more or less have the mental edge to go on and push for the title! I nor wan too talk but lemme say my piece! Its not enuff for us to sit here and blame the ref and not point out how poorly we played! We played so poorly it was almost painful to watch. We want to play like Barca but we are not willing to put in the work they put in defensively! Diaby,Rosicky and Fabregas where just jogging each time they lost possession! Sometimes in their own half! Dani Alves alone was able to pin both Nasri and Clichy in their own halves for almost the entire 90 mins so inasmuch as the ref did his bit to help Barca with the ridiculous sending off of RVP, we also did not do ourselves any favor with poor organization and just general cluelessness as it was clear from kick off that we didn't have a game plan

As for the game i am pretty confident we would score the question remains how many would we concede! Song's absence is a big blow as only he seems to be able to keep Messi quiet to a reasonable extent! That match is not for slow thinkers like Diaby but i trust Wenger would most likely play him. The most important thing is to know when to defend and when to attack i woulda advised an ultra-defensive formation but sadly we lack the personnel so we might as well attack when we can. Arshavin and Nasri would be key especially Arshavin as we need to take advantage of every chance we get going forward and he is the quickest of the lot so i can only hope he plays with some efficiency
