I hope you guys are helping Carlotti strategize how to beat Utd and not just arguing about whether Drogba should be sent back to Asec Mimosas and what not cos i dont see how that affects the price of Alomo grin grin

By the way how dumb do Chelsea look for buying Torres for 50 million pounds and loaning out a Danny Sturridge that just cant seem to stop scoring

Itz faily certain Diaby will start now Wilsherez confirmed for Central attacking. Lovely, endowed footballer, his problem's his head which drops faster than a scared manliness if things are not goin well. If he could speed up and vary his game a lil bit, he'd do well. I just hope he plays a blinder
You mean Central attacking midfielder?? Anyway we need players with cool heads and not ones that would turn the match to a UFC Fighting bout!! Here is hoping he proves me wrong because i am sure even Wenger would not forgive him if he went ape-sh!t this time

SMH! Nuccas have been flaunting their ignorance and chatting via their anal canal since time immemorial 2006 undecided undecided

Out of 7 major tournaments he has only failed to score in 2! Totalling 12 goals! Why don't these simps provide strikers who have done better in recent times

Why are you worried? we've got Abou's legs?  grin grin
Arsene might want to keep a semblance of width with Arshavin and Nasri still playing wide.
Which would you prefer? Bendtner in a wide position and Nasri dropping in for Cesc or a straight swap of Abou for Cesc?

What a vote of confidence for Jack from Arsene:

Abou ko Tafawa Balewa ni abeg make him no bring him bad-luck come

duduspace:
He did hold the fort well with Song and an emerging Wilshere while Cesc was injured early on in the season. As long as we don't have another Barton moment he'll be fine, he looked imperious earlier on in the newcastle match.
Huh  huh huh Has he started 4 games straight this season??

We would most definitely need width against those damned Brummies obviously with Arshavin and Nasri playing wide! If Rozzy was the Rozzy of old it woulda been a no-brainer him replacing Cesc in the middle so i suggest Rozzy and Nasri interchange positions from time to time. Bendtner can come on from the bench incase of incasity we might need something from him! Diaby should get a pinstripe suit and some Ferragamo shoes and watch the game from the stands

See wetin these desperados are getting hyped about. . . Carling cup grin
This is hypocritical with a capital letter H coming from a Chelsea fan

Cesc's absence makes me wonder who would partner Song and Wilshere in our midfield its a shame that despite having players with Rosicky and Denilson's experience they cant be relied upon to the bidness in a match of this importance Walcott's absence would also gravely limit our bench as you cant rely on Bendtner and Chamakh for shyte these days!! Scarily enough he would most likely miss the Barca game too!

Those boys had better watch out for Martins and Zigic

Kos and Squills. . . . . .Poor

I thought it was another Squillo I saw yesterday, as we passed the test from Stoke in the 2nd half.
His best game in an Arsenal jersey by far!
Djourou made him look good last night! Same as he usually does with Koscielny as well! Just goes to show Djourou has been our best defender this season

These injuries cannot possibly come at a worse time! Its too bad we have a bunch of players who are content with being passengers! With the experience of Denilson and Rosicky ordinarily we should not be breaking any sweat that the likes of Walcott and Cesc are injured! I hope Cesc is fit for that Final! I have no doubt he would give his all! We can only hope no one else cops an injury! We have too many games coming up (4 games in 12 days) in the early days of March

I was cheering for Griffin too but he didnt deserve to even make the final round! Not with Javal McGee dunking on two different rims at once and then dunking three balls at a time! Why can't Wenger realize that some partnerships are just not meant to be. Squillaci and Koscielny, Bendtner and Chamakh! Seriously what has to happen for Wenger to never ever ever pair those muchachos again! I really do not grasp the idea of starting two beanpole strikers as I have not seen Tottenham play Pavlyuchenko and Crouch from the start! Now on to Chamakh what do we do about this guy? Maybe he should go to Tangier for the meantime as the weather must have frozen his brain cells! Dude was like Leyton Orient's auxiliary CB

We should win easy today so long as Wenger does the right thing! Start Bendtner and leave Chamalh on the bench!

I desperately hope RVP gets back soon cos on evidence of Sunday's game we are in trouble if we have to bank on Chamakh and Bendtner for goals on the long term

I also dont place any weight on your Championship win in 08 afterall Bynum and Ariza missed the entire series

You have a point there, I heard Theo put in the kind of shift Arshavin isn't known for in the first half to cover Eboue. After all said and done though, I still would start Arshavin ahead of Theo but Theo is a lot better and at 21 has much room for improvement.
But if it was Arshavin who started and got taken off, yu lot would have been saying Theo should have started.

Arsene must have had good reason to start Theo and yes on current form he deserved it, nevertheless something tells me he would have been better coming on as a sub and we could have even scored more.
I'm beginning to suspect a subtle flaw in this Barca team, their stamina levels if they're made to work hard, almost same results and same pattern as the last time out, only difference our defence was better this time.
Let's hope we carry that into the return leg and leave no chance for Messi to get 4 goals this time.
