my school resumes by 22 of august but I feel I should defer to next semester cos I read somewhere if someone reapply immediately that chances are slim.thanks for the support
Your chances if you re-apply are as high as are willing to make it. Just Prepare well this time. Even though you deffered till next year and u r not prepared, it might still go the wrong way.

Why didnt you check the deadline date before making an application. It would have enabled you know the session is closed before spending time on it

Secondly spring is January session so highly unlikely that admission decision will be out and you then go through Visa process to travel by Sept . ... Also there is a 30day rule that u cant enter more than 30 days before i20 start date
To the best of my knowledge, Mr daoud is yet to convince anyone here that he has done any research on his own. If only he have read a whole part on this thread, all his berating questions have been treated previously. It is clear he is just looking for a fast way to get denied.

Cool down Mr and read part 7 and 8. Am sure you will get answers to all your questions.

good day my ogas in the house, I want to commend everyone on this forum that its a great job guys are doing. may God grant all our heart desires.
please i have a very good waec since year 2005 and i have a 2year diploma course at National Institute of Information Technology (NIIT) since 2015 November. since then I've been trying to process Canadian college (even gotten admission) but canadian tuition is killing. now, I have decided to process US.
1 please which cheap tuition school do you think i can process?
2 do you think going for college would help me as i don't have a BSc?
please house help me oooooooo

God bless you all.
If you truly want to study abroad as a serious student. NIIT has affiliate universities around the world where you can go for top up and will be issued a Bsc Certificate. Try and talk to your center director to link you up with those schools as that will make your application easier. All abroad study is expensive anyway except you can get a scholarship.

what's the rush? Why not wait till when your degree result is out? You're 34yrs,going for a degree with a Community College and you want to tell the VO you've been working for 14years with your dad..smh
I guess he has learnt something new and he's gonna change his mind. I pray smiley

Plz I just finished my degree in Business Administration in 2015 ending but anything result is not yet out. And I know VO would ask what i've been doing after 2002/my SSCE.. I could either tell him I've been working in my father's company since and/or let him know I went for a degree. Another case is that I got admitted into management Information systems into a college for 2 yrs associate degree.
Right now, it s not In My thought to include the degree I have in Nigeria. Plz advise aadeyi, Fadi...and any experienced person.

How much is visa fees now?
Brother if I get you very well, you finished BSc and you are trying to run to community college? Equivalent polytechnic?

My Advise: why not wait for your results to be out, take qualifying tests and then apply for a graduate study. This will give u a better chance of securing your visa, spend less in studying in the US and also save you some years.

Bro relax and take things easy I asked and that's my way of gathering resources that does not mean I can't make research online, if you have anything positive to add to my comment you are welcome but if you don't have just scroll pass and save your data, at least while you advanced me to google earlier someone helped with list of school which I went for troy and for your information I read through the requirements TEOFL wasn't mandatory as the 6 required documents demanded by the school, but that young man adviced me to go for it anyway to save me time & money wastage, and that's optional.... so please don't see my style of gathering information as a sign of foolishness and dumbness, thanks for your concern sir
I feel pity for you bro.... You see every valid advise as an attack. From the look of things you rushed down here to gather info but people come here to learn and not "sare wa gba".

Well I can't wait to know the end of this for you and am sure u won't even come back here to share it anyway.

Well, from what I know and what frequent travellers told me. I guess some POEs are more strict than others.

I wish I could get it across. I love dried meat. grin
There is no harm in trying. U can never be deported because of it. They will only collect and thrash it while u watch.
TravelRe: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part 9 by aadeyi:
djmakson:
No it wasn't. Meat is generally not allowed irrespective of the POE.

To those coming to the US soon:

If you would have enough space in your luggage (be mindful of the weight. Every airline has specific maximum) , pending the time you would have to visit any African store here, you could arrange for some food stuff like garri, egusi, ogbonno, dry fish, dry vegetables. Get them in ziplocks or plastic bags, clearly labelled. That would last you for a considerable period before eating burger grin

P.S. Palm Oil (Epo pupa) is not allowed. It won't even pass MMIA.
Well I don't know this thing about meat but I am a frequent "requester" of kilishi when I see someone coming my way and it has never been seized b4. Infact I just finished the last batch in my freezer and am all already anticipating another delivery.

Don't mind me, that sh*t tastes good in noodles or for cold garri during summer like this... grin grin

Before I forget, those looking for dollars to buy...
I bought 400 dollars today at yaba for 106,00 that's 265 per dollar...

Please what's the means one can use for application payment, now that most banks have stopped credit card usage for international transactions
Just contact someone in the US to login and pay for you. That's the easiest way to go.
