bestdudes: While I may agree with you... You have to be patient to see things unfold.
Madoff was fleasing people billions of dollars, his children were living the dream and he was on top of the world for decades.
Until he was caught, given 100 years in prison at the age of over 50, which means he will die there. One of his son took his own life, the other died from another kind of death. The wife?
What does this tell you?
Abiola was the present day Tinubu but today all wealth is gone.
Igbinedion of Benin is just living on past glory, Babaginda is now a vegetable... He can't walk. Yes, the name still open doors for his children but as time goes on, they will be forgotten in coming generations.
Abacha, we know how that one ended...
Annenih, is gone and forgotten...
Sweatheart, the man who said a good name is better than gold and silver is not stupid...
Manhattan Gandhi and Mandela (my phone had these names as autocorrect, but doesn't have the evil ones mentioned above) was neither as wealthy as these men, but their names will go into 1Million years to come. Oga forget these stories. Babangida is a vegetable my ass. If had not stolen all those money, which is keeping him alive, he would have died. Besides, our politicians have been stealing our money since the birth of the nation, how many of them, both dead and alive, has the ineffective karma visited? ? Instead, their children and children's children going to the best schools in the world, leading some crazy lives that most of us, whose parents never had the glorious opportunities to cart away some of the national treasure, will never ever live. |

2loadedguy: Leave the poor and the downtrodden to keep believing there's one law somewhere that repays good for good and bad for bad, even in the Bible it says "the kingdom of God suffereth violence and only the violent take it by force" that kingdom is right here on Earth. I've seen numerous examples in this life to make me understand that there's no correlation between your deeds and your reward. The grace of God abounds to anyone and anybody. I mean how does a runs girl who has slept with several married men I know get married to the best dude and give birth to twins within a year and a sister in my office who is probably a virgin cannot find a husband in her late 30's? How does a first class student struggle to get a job and begs a third class graduate for employment. That's called grace and it can be given to anyone and anybody not thru good deeds. Brother mi, God will bless you in abundance. This is the reality many don't want to come to terms with, but only practical people do. It is even my own life that awakened me to the harsh realities of this, while watching my friends, who are nowhere compared to me in morality and brilliance, and even in conduct, go places I got literally rooted to a spot. I checked myself over and over thinking I must have been doing something bad. Of course nobody is sinless, I would pin my lack of progress on my sins, but these other guys were brazenly sinning and still doing great. That was when it dawned on me that only those who are ruthless, who are willing to do whatever it takes go places in this life. Unfortunately for me, I was born with a massive conscience with a high moral standard, so some things are never and will never be an option for me. |

tintingz: How do you define normal people?
So when a gay "force" his "sexual perversion" on someone, he's not violating the law?
What you're saying is a crime in general, raping is a crime, I don't know what point you want to make from this? Normal thing, for example, is to drink water through the mouth but if you do so through the nostrils it becomes a normal. You're mixing things up badly. You should understand why the comment was made before lumping everything together. Gay spokespeople: they don't force anyone Into homosexuality Me: a gay guy refused a room mate of mine entry into a competition because he refused to budge on his sexual perversion advances. Gay spokespeople made a claim and I countered it. |

Some Homosexuals commit crime just as heterosexual people do, So I still don't get your point? Normal people do normal things unlike abnormal people. We're not talking about crime In generality; we are talking about gay individuals trying to force their sexual perversion on straight people. |

I can't deal with your comprehension problems which should be the first issue you should deal with. If one individual scores 27/100 and another scores 28/100 and end up coming 144 and 138 in a class any reasonable observer will conclude the two students are just as bad in class...that is the case when it comes to corruption, there is really no significant differences between corruption in Nigeria and Russia according to those scores posted by Transparency International if you know what you are doing instead of self loathing and emotional argument you would have faulted the methodology used by TI that is how people who can reason do not come up with one story of corruption after another do you think if I decide to post stories of corruption in Russia this page will contain all the stories? That is not a sensible methodology, it is through scientific evaluation you can determine which country is more corrupt than the other.
Like I said earlier I am not going to engage your comprehension deficit which cannot serve as a basis for any reasonable discussion. Consider this my final reply to you on this. Olodo like you projecting your deficiencies on me. Any reasonable person would see how your comments smack of delusions and ignorance. You want to start posting Russia's corruption cases? Go ahead. If I start listing the corruption cases in Nigeria it will take forever to complete. Hate the truth and bury your empty head in the sand, e no konsain me. Your fellow citizens are running away in droves because of the corruption-imposed hell in the country and you're pointing a dirty finger at a working system. I will state the facts again and again and again, you can can go and kill yourself if you have aversion to truth. All nigerian politicians are corrupt, Nigeria runs a shabby and dysfunctional system, wanton corruption is entrenched and second-nature in Nigeria. Another fact people like you, with false sense of patriotism, hate is: it is only in Nigeria snakes are accused of swallowing millions. Go and kill yourself!!, if the truth hurts existence. |

Islam › Re: Islam's Position On Homosexuality by aadoiza: 6:03pm On Jun 21, 2019 |
sino: Let me help reconstruct the above.
Because homosexuality is natural doesn't mean we should accept it! Moral laws exist because we are intelligent beings and need to regulate our behaviours, we are not animals!
Intelligence would mean that you can make reasonable judgments, so I put it to you, homosexuality, the act, is it normal to you? Are you willing to participate in such act? Kindly share your reasons for your answers.
Yep, it doesn't matter, so some group of mad people can come together and dictate what is normal to you, you accept what these people have established because you want to be like them or want to be acceptable to them?!
If normal is based on what 'society' has established and societies differ, why then are you having problems with a normal that is different from the one you have come to accept?!
Well, my own normal and that of Muslims isn't an illusion and not dictated by some people, it is divine, thus there is a moral compass that guides, unlike those which are dictated by the whims and desires of themselves and others! With this and comment to which it is replied, tintingz should agree that homosexuality should be unacceptable. |

vedaxcool: No sir, I have not heard of the Nigerian police framing a popular anti corruption activist. Yes you will hardly hear anything about Russia and it's corruption because people like empiree are doing charitable PR campaign for them. In the Transparency International ranking Russia comes 138 and Nigeria comes 144, Russia scored 28/100 while Nigeria scored 27/100. Trust me you know very little of the subject. But it is your choice you are very free to believe you are the worst of people in the world or your country is worst of country but my point wasn't about who is worst it was about the fact Putin is know to be corrupt as no one can really explain how he became wealthy and he has not right to attack people who are just like him and worst he cannot be calling Africa corrupt when his nations has diabolical forms of corruption. But like I said it did a free world believe whatever you want about your country. Spare me the contrived jingoism and sentimentality, for I don't faIl for such veneer of patriotism. I see the world for what it is, not for what popular belief dictates.and don't give in to cheap emotions. You obviously have a score to settle with Empiree, so do not lump me in your tussle with him. Nigeria is better than Russia, according to your misinformed view, but lacks all basic amenities. Your former president purportedly spent $16bn on power, when asked about it he referred to the stupid book he wrote, and you call that transparency, right? Did you even know how much was earmarked for The Executive's and legislative's respective wardrobes? Do you know how much your government spend on Newspaper? Do you even know how much your legislators share before going on recess? If not for PMB, who was brought in by corrupt people, would people like you have known budget padding has been a norm in your government? Would people like have known Obasanjo's farm workers were on federal government payroll? People like you will never know how much of government properties your senators cart away evey now and then. Did you even know virtually all your politicians and high ranking civil servants have ghost workers on government payroll? Mention one abandoned road project by the russian government and I will mention twenty of those by your government. Your Police need not frame anti-corruption activists to be worse than their counterparts in Russia, as they frame innocent people from time to time. Its even a norm here. You obviously don't know how international politics work. And I'm sure you also believed all what the anti-whatever were saying about Gaddafi. SMH. (I'm not saying Putin is innocent here, though.). We're talking about a Nigeria where every government sector, from Education to Finance, Military, Sports, Works, Health, Power, etc, to much of the private sector, is corrupt and failing but you're here making a mountain out of a molehill of russia's corruption cases. SMH aagain. Continue living in abject denial all you want, as it's not my concern. |

OtemAtum: This is not a fable. The earth has been existing for the past 4 billion years. Many species have passed through it. We have the Neanderthals, Hominids, Homo Erectuses and now we homo sapiens. What you see over there is just an excerpt from the things which happen in the Homo Erectus period which was about two million years ago. The things which happened in those days are now repeating themselves in our days. So the history still fits our contemporary time.
Have you ever wondered why the history of Nigeria and many other African countries are not found in the Bible, Quean and Vedas? This is because we don't know our histories. Because of that, we submit our minds and souls to the philosophies of their gods and became slaves to them.
But currently, a mind evolution is taking place to help Africans know their histories from the beginning of the earth billions of years ago to our present time, so that we could be free from this mind slavery.
If you want to know more about the history of your land Ebira(Ebir in the past era), go read through the book of Otem Erectus and also read the book of Amagolawo(Aworawo). Peace. Who wrote those books? |
