Good day Family, Happy New Year Please how do we remind IRCC about our application o, how do we trigger their memory. Should i the student send an email or webform or my spouse who applied for SOWP send the email with his account.
Those who have gotten approvals please how did you remind IRCC because i am just hoping and praying for a positive response this Week |

Good day everyone,
I am new here and very hopeful to get great support.
I just got my SP approved earlier this month ( due to travel in September) and would like to apply for my spouse SOWP and SP for one of my children as soon as possible. Two of my children are citizens so i guess i can automatically apply for them. I should also state that my husband currently has an active EE profile? Will this have an impact on the SOWP decision?
Please can i get any advice on how to go about it, thank you |

Its PPR GUYS,
I am so so excited, and I would like to share my testimony. Started this process January this year and I have to say God has been good. I learnt a lot from this platform, spent sleepless nights literally just reading and reading--- oh I read a lot, at some point I got obsessed and was scared but i knew i had to research. Then I summoned the courage and started compiling my documents. It took my almost 3 months to get all documents together and I applied April 9th. I have to give a special shoutout and THANKYOU to the one and only @technix who reviewed my SOP( because I had drafted it before making contact with him) , but guess what guys he did more than that, he went above and beyond to advise and guide me on the process. I would send him messages at odd hours stating my concerns but he would calm me down and reassure me that it would be alright. I have to say THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for being a great support throughout this process, you are truly God sent. If anyone needs help with this our Canada Parole please guys trust me he is your guy. He is over capable and I am grateful our paths crossed. Applied – April 9th Upfront medical was done – April 19th Medicals was updated – May 18th ( I had to raise webform after I didn’t get a response from them) PPR- June 3rd

Thank you for your response I appreciate it. Does that mean I will take only the 2 kids (American citizens ) when leaving now or after I have gotten to Canada and I apply for the whole family. at what point do they get the study permit I am to apply for. technix: Hi aamey15,
I replied you earlier, but I am reposting if you missed it.
1. It is preferable to apply alone first and apply for family later.
2. You can submit your statement alone if that covers the required funds. If not, you can submit your statement and hubby's
3. Yes, you got adequate home ties.
4. No, it won't be an issue. Moreover, an EE profile is not the same as EE application.
**You might be aware that you won't need visitor visa application for your two children who are US citizens. And if they will require study permits, you can apply for them at the port of entry.
Best of luck! |

Whao congratulations mama12345: Good news guys, my PPR just came in at 7:46am this morning. It can only be God, I am still in shock. My story is a special one, my Bachelors is Law, I have an LLB, BL (Law School), and Masters in International Business, but I applied for Diploma, not even Post Graduate Diploma, but Diploma in Digital Business Management. I wasn't even aware of this forum when I applied in September, I just followed a YouTuber (Noel Abingwa) and learnt the steps and documents needed when applying for my visa through one of his Videos. I contacted him and he was kind enough to share his statement of purpose/ letter of explanation with me. As I started getting anxious, I decided to join this forum 30th December and it was so encouraging because I kept getting alot of support, more especially from @Makano.
I got this message below from Honourable Sean Fraser, Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship's Office, on the 18th of February 2022
IRCC records confirm that your application was received on September 6, 2021, and is being processed at the Canadian visa office in Nairobi. Criminality checks and medical examination results are passed, however, further review is required before an eligibility decision is made. This means that the case is no longer straightforward and will, in most situations, lead to additional delays in processing. Once a decision has been made, officers will be in a position to determine next steps in processing
Thank you for answering my questions, more especially in the past two days after the message I got above.
@Makano encouraged me that "If truly you are truthful with your application and you didn't hide any information from them, then expect a positive decision from them"
Thank you @PatrickOkunima @olasubomy @mrprolifik @VIKKYIFE @Teemenzo @Time2soar1 @Predator188 who helped give me answers to my posts as well.
I even ordered for GCMS notes on the 4th of January but its still not out.
My Time Line
Submission/AOR 6th September 2021 Medicals Passed 25th October 2021 1st Ghost update November (Not sure of exact date) 2nd Ghost update 24th January 2022 3rd Ghost update 19th February 2022 Passport Request 21st February 2022
My application took a total of 168 days , 5months, 15 days. I DID NOT USE AN AGENT
God did it for me. I cannot thank God enough. It can only be God |

A big congratulations.. this is great news purespikes: LONG POST ALERT This testimony is on behalf of my wife, who is a silent member of this forum and has been following this thread consistently since Part 19. The Canada journey started in 2019. We started with the EE route by doing WES and writing IELTS, but due to age, we couldn't gather the needed points. Getting PNP also became difficult. So, in 2021, we decided to focus fully on the study route. As such, my spouse and I devoted time to gathering knowledge from this thread. The biggest challenge we had was how to convince the VO on her choice of program (Master of Organizational Management) considering her career as an Auditor in the public service with previous degrees in Accounting( 1st) and Policy Analysis (MSc). She also had lump sum deposits into her account. However, we took another 3 months to systematically build her account as a self-sponsored applicant and also gave detailed explaination on every lump sum deposits in a separate LOE. So, after settling for Crandall (she got admission into many colleges) we eventually submitted her application (alongside a visitor visa application for my son.
TIMELINE Application Submitted- 6th December, 2021 Biometric Completed - 8th December, 2021 Biometric confirmed - 9th December, 2021 Upfront Medicals - 3rd February, 2022 Upfront Medical Passed - 15th February, 2022 Eligibility Started - 17th February, 2022 BVL - 21st February 2022 PPR- 21st February, 2022.
I started sending mails to ircc email addresses on 13th February, 2022, when her medical was not updated. I sent the mails like twice daily and got the generic response.
Upon her PPR, I noticed that my son's medical was updated to pass today and his eligibility review also started today. Hopefully, his PPR is dropping soon as well.
DOCUMENTS SUBMITTED (1) SOP 7 pages. (written by me. It took me over a month. I had to edit over and over) (2) LOA (one year Master of Organizational Management at Crandall University, New Brunswick) (3) Full tuition payment receipt (4) First Degree and MSC results and Transcripts (5) IELTS results (6) 4 months Pay slips for both of us (7) Company documents with Tax Clearance (we both run the company) ( Notarized letter of support from me (9) Her personal and family travel history to US, UK, (10) Landed properties (11) regular bank statement (6 months) (12) Marriage certificate (13) Family pictures, (14) promotion and employment letters for both of us
Special thanks to GOD ALMIGHTY for making this happen. All glory to Him alone now and forever. I also thank LIANA2000 who helped me tremendously on how to go about the SOP, OMIINII for looking at the SOP for free,TESTIMONYONLINE for moral support, LEKIBOBOE for mentioning the University, MAKANO, FRANKROBBN and JUSTMELLOW for sparing time to answer my numerous questions. Good day my wonder people.. thank you so so much for all you do .
Please I need your help with regards student visa application . I just received unconditional letter of acceptance for MBA(Sept 2022) and I intend to apply mid March. I have a few questions and will be so glad if you can help me. I have a job that pays over 450k monthly and hubby earns almost a million monthly. We both work in great company (I work for the federal government while he works for a multinational) I just paid the 1k non refundable fee and intend to pay at least 75% of the school fees before I apply. I also have a business that has a yearly turnover of over 40m. . I have 3 kids ( 2 of which are American citizens) and have a great travel history 1. My question is .. should I apply alone or should I apply with my family 2. Should it be self sponsor or hubby and I should both sponsor together or just have hubby sponsor me 3. My mum is still in Nigeria, hubby’s parents are also in Nigeria , my business will definitely run even when I am not in the country(. Hubby has landed properties, his other business aswell (which I am a major shareholder, I have my pension , and can secure a study leave from my work) is this enough to serve as proof of ties or would you advise otherwise. 4. I applied for the express entry previously but my profile has expired in December 2022 will that be an issue with this current student visa application?
Thank you so much I will really appreciate your response, |

Thank you for your detailed response, i truly appreciate it... Oh and i am definitely in this world .. lol Is it okay if i send you a PM. Thank you dreamcometrue: I'm surprised you asked these questions. MBA is a well know threaded path.
That said, yes, you can get scholarshipS. Actually former a colleague got 3 scholarships - HBS, GSB and Sloan. But chose GSB. These schools, or even lower ranked ones, they like a) black woman and b) top GMAT scores. If you have two of these, you will go really far. If b) is not bad but you have a), then you will make some progress.
So, to answer your specific questions
1. All serious MBA programs give scholarships. Many even provide avenues to get loans. I had to ask twice when I visited HBS to be sure that they're indeed willing to provide avenues for loans to students they admit who may not be able to pay all the fees themselves or whose scholarships do not cover all fees
2. You need to take the GMAT. For some reason, some (most?) of us find this test challenging. But if you tear it, and you be black woman, top schools go pursue you enter your house . If you don't get top scores, but your scores are decent, some type of partial scholarship is still possible. I know Omhengwo who went to Wharton with 50% and paid the rest 50% from life savings. lol. The short girl no gree borrow.
3. Yes, F2 visa is possible. I know many people whose immediate families have F2. Not a biggie, really.
Your questions are easy. Lol. Are you in this world? |

Hello everyone,
I am a bit new on this thread but i have been reading and will appreciate it if i can get the help i need. A little back story:
I am 34 years old, i have an MSc in Business from a UK university (2011) and a Bachelors from a University in Nigeria. I am married with 3 kids( 2 of which are US citizens) and i am currently working for a DFI here in Lagos and i have a thriving business by the side. I intend to pursue my plans for an MBA and hopefully would love to go with my whole family by Gods grace or at least eventually take them with me. Now to my Questions: 1. Can i get recommendations for schools that offer MBA programmes preferably with scholarship options 2. What are my chances and what steps do i need to take( I have most of the required documents i think my concern is when it comes to the visa application 3. Is it possible to get the F1 visa and also secure the F2 for my spouse and 1 child ( since the remaining 2 of them are citizens they dont need)
I apologise to anyone in advance please dont be offended sometimes we just need someone to guide us.. thank you |

Good day, please i would like to send you a PM. Thank you Clairene51: Long post
My first time posting but I hope my testimony encourages someone here Program: MBA ( Fall intake, 2021) School: UCW. Vancouver, BC. PPR: 24th August 2021
After my BSc in Govt and Public admin, I thought I should just move to Tech since It was clear I didn't want to be in academia or politics. I applied to Dalhousie University for a BSc, got admission in less than a month. Feeling eager to take over Canada, I read through the Lagos office requirement and applied on 18th July 2018, submitted an empty application (na Neco, Waec, First school leaving cert, etc full there) The second correspondence for that application came in on 7th September 2018 and wow, I remember I was in school then, rounding up my defense and preparing for my clearance when the mail dropped. The refusal reasons were on Travel history, Purpose of visit, Home ties, and Personal assets.
After the first refusal, I got Frankrobbn email from NL and sent my GCMS to him (I think he wasn't charging then) after he reviewed it, he told me it was workable, then asked me to go for a course related to my BSc and sent some scholarship links to me( I told him not to bother because I'm not reapplying) he said okay o, just like that♀️.
2019-2020, I got the courage to reapply. All the schools I applied to (Msc) boldly refused me, got frustrated, and decided to leave everything and go do my Nysc... 2021, a family friend guided me. She gave me all tips she used in her successful application but then “No application is the same”. I applied on 18th March 2021, and that faithful morning of June 3rd, 2021, the second correspondence dropped with the same reasons as the first refusal.
I gave up trying and canceled everything about Canada the day I saw the refusal. I called some agencies that were in charge of UK applications so we can kick off asap... Only for me to wake up the next day and started thinking of Canada reapplication... My mind went straight to Frankrobbn1, he gave me the cold acceptance (aspa coconut head applicant) but this time I no send, I begged o, He sha listened and pointed out my mistakes in my Sop, and documents in general so the next thing was for me to go convince my parents that I wanted to reapply for the third time. They accepted after many explanations with conditions of having a plan B( I got admissions from 3 different UK schools, and booked a late date in Aug for my medicals).
I paid for Frank's services and we started from changing of school to UCW. When it was time to reapply, Frank reviewed all my documents, flagged down some with reasons, and we finally submitted them on 28th June 2021, upfront medicals passed 7th July, same with eligibility, no update till 24th August, PPR dropped
Here's my timeline to the last application (in no particular order)
DOCUMENTS 1. Letter of Introduction from your employer. 2. Copy of Applicant’s Family Members Birth certificates. 3. University's Unconditional Official Letter of Admission. 4. Copy of Applicant's Birth Certificate, 5. Copy of Police Character Certificate, old one) 6. Waec 7. Copy of Applicant’s International Passport Biodata page, 8. Copy of Applicant's family picture. 9. Letter of explanation addressing the concerns of the visa officer concerning the last refusal grounds (prepared by Frankrobn1) 10. NYSC discharge certificate 11. Degree certificate 12. Transcripts 13. Deed of gift documents. 14. IELTS Certificate. 15. Study leave approval letter 16. Work ID 17. Resume 18. MBS 19. Board resolution letter for my sponsorship 20. Dads company Cac document 21. Article of Memorandum 22. Particulars of directors 23. Sponsors landed properties 24. Company performa and sales invoice 25. Sponsors two company account MBS with sole signatory letters 26. Tax clearance
I had challenges which were; First, my 4 years in the university, we were called political scientists and I submitted my first application with the name but after my clearance, I was handed a Government and Pub admin cert... Secondly, my funds were enough but the company account(which seems like a 3rd party sponsorship) IRCC said I was mobile and single blah blah.
I must affirm that Frankrobbn1 of (fandrglobal.com) is professional beyond measure, he takes the hardest immigration cases and handles them with highest attention to detail, and to customer service. I disturbed him o (na 24/7 busy man) so you have to always remind him...
God pass IRCC It will surely go round
