- what is this "greater good of Nigeria"? Could you get specific?

Too tired of this embrace-and-be-one sentiment. What's the good of Nigeria? A senate where no one takes responsibility for anything? A House of Reps where they only share public funds? Reduce this behemoth to bits, let the centre be weak. . . this arrangement will perpetuate the interests of those who've seized the means of resources; the country, the experiment, has failed. "This house has fallen".
.
Thats the only thing that will avert this looming crisis.

Abagworo is talking out of his butt. Any group can endorse a candidate and if u don't like it then vote for someone else.
Thats it.Ethnic group is not any group.

This is a lie.
The most effective exposé of this fraud called Phllip Emeagwali came from the Igbo.
The media didn't 'overblow' his 'achievement', he did himself.
He's lied his way to fame; it's payback time.
The man is a consumate fraud, a criminal, and a shameless pseudo-intellectual.
He has no PhD, he has no patents, he's got to technical papers; he's a liar and a fraud.
He's earned all the grief he's getting.

Only recently, the USAfricadialogue googlegroups listserv managed by Professor Toyin Falola of the University of Texas hosted a discussion on Philip Emeagwali’s vast fraud. Participants in the discussion included Nigerian and African intellectuals,

In what way have YOU contributed to a united front for the advancement of Igbo or Eastern cause in Nigeria? huh huh
Is it by reminding us of our ignoble past of cacophony masquerading as "I can vote for any candidate I want" when in fact we were wasting our vote? Or is it by pulling down whatever effort Ohanaeze is making to negotiate a deal with a potential winner of the presidential race?  huh
AREWA has made it abundantly clear that they want a northern candidate. And by the way, we are NOT SO SURE that they are the majority in Nigeria. That is yet to be independently verified.

Before you challenge Ohanaeze to dare speak for you, what are you doing personally to ensure that we get our fair share in Nigeria? Is it by your  advocacy of "free for all voting" cacophony?

My friend, you are taking this your lame attempt at cosmopolitanism to ridiculous proportions.  undecided (that poll really pain you well well). na wa o!

As I've said for the umpteenth time, nobody is forcing you to vote for anybody. You can vote for "none of the above" sef!  cool

I thank God that majority of Igbo are not following your doom prognostications.  undecided undecided undecided
At least I have travelled round Igboland and I can understand all Igbo dialects but you can't.You need to travel round and understand how diverse we are and also realize that our only way of achieving unity in diversity is not by imposing the view of a few on the entire Igbo nation. What this will lead to is further implosion of Igboland.I hope you are aware that some powerful Igbo elders also support IBB.

Show me a link where Arewa made it clear they wanted a President to emerge from North.

The most interesting part of the book is the fact that most of the people claim not to have heard the word Igbo but spoke a similar language. They all viewed themselves as different tribes.

In the Nigerian context, as we speak, Arewa is championing the cause of northern candidates.

Just don't come here in the future to yap about marginalization.
In what way has Ohaneze fought against Igbo marginalisation which by the way should be their major point?

Name where Arewa has come out to tell all northerners to vote a candidate. They are majority and if they involve themselves in this politics, then their candidate is already the winner. That is one of the possible disadvantages of Ohaneze's endorsement.

Beaf:
I do not see how endorsing Jonathan at the very last minute of the elections would change the fact that the incumbent has been endorsed, it would render the action meaningless and impotent; therefore I conclude that you are against any endorsements or perhaps, against the endorsement of Jonathan.
I am not against endorsement by non-ethnic based and non-governmental political groups. If ANPP adopts GEJ,that is very Ok but Afenifere,Ijaw youths movement,Arewa,Ogbako Ikwerre,Ogbako Aro etc. are socio-cultural and seem to represent groups of people of thesame ethnicity.

As a man of Igbo extraction,I feel Ohaneze can only speak for me culturally and not dictating who I will vote for.Is it not shameful that Ohaneze supported 3rd term?
