U people have started again with this racism thing. I don't know which match u watched but I saw boateng as much as I saw his center half partner hummels, and I heard his name as much as I heard Philip lahm. This is just an illusion from black people. Because he is the only black man on the pitch so whenever he is out of camera range u read meaning to it. Whenever they fail to mention his name u read meaning to it. Coutinho effect games positively when he plays in the midfield because of his vision and defence splitting passes, at Spurs he Paulinho plays the number 10 role with Dembele and Sandro/Bentaleb providing cover for him.

I wonder what kind of football u watch. Oscar plays no 10 for Brazil not paulinho. So let me get u straight, u said luiz Gustavo and fernadinho provides cover for paulinho. Add 4 defenders and goalkeeper that's 8 players. Then add the quartet of Oscar, hulk, neymar and Fred that is 12 players. In which planet does 12 players play football?

Paulinho is a central/ box to box midfielder while Gustavo is defensive midfielder. Gustavo partners paulinho/fernadinho in the middle while Oscar plays in front of them just behind the main striker. Paulinho has never played no 10 for Brazil. It has always been Oscar with Gustavo and paulinho or fernadinho behind him.

Also u may know coutinho played a lot of time from the left flank for Liverpool last season, cutting into the middle. Suarez and Sturridge played the middle. In modern football, playing from the flanks doesn't necessarily make u a winger. Thomas Mueller is not a winger and he plays from the right flank for Germany.

Individually Messi is better than any player the Germans have. But collectively the Germans are better as a team. In modern football teamwork wins games. Gone are the days when one player will dribble the whole team to score.

Fred is out of form u say? He played 6 games and was anonymous in those 6 games. That is not out of form, that is a bad player to be honest. Yes he scored some goals in the last confed cup but a lot of things can happen to a player within one year, or he was just lucky in the confed cup.

I tell u. They won their first game against Croatia with the help of the referee. After that they beat Cameroon, drew mexico. If they had played an European team in the second round they wouldn't have made it to the semi final. The only player that is willing to do something is neymar, without him they are useless. No wonder they all cried when neymar got injured.

Oscar was their best player against Germany and against the Netherlands. He was phenomenal in the first natch against Croatia. Oscar is Brazil's 3rd best player after neymar and Silva.

That's what I been saying in another thread . we need to stop age cheating if we must improve out football. Not taking old men to play under 17 and thrashing younger players and when it is time to join the super eagles they would all have already passed their best and the cycle continues.

Look at Netherlands 2005, Mikel obi, ogbuke obasi, sabi kaita, taiye taiwo, onyekachi apam etc where playing against the likes of fabregas, David Silva, Messi, juafran, Llorente, Fernando gago, etc. Today, of all the Nigerian players, only Mikel is playing top football (on the bench though) while others are still playing top football for both clubs and countries.

This is a Brazilian team that are over dependent on neymar. And trust me the dutch would have scored more if thiago Silva didn't play because that David luiz is useless without an experieced defender beside him. Even at Chelsea it was terry and Cahill that were protecting him.

All these low spec android users with 512mb of ram, it is really better to leave ur phone the way it is rather than running power hungry themes. Those themes will only make worse an already underpowered phone leading to lagging and hanging. I don't even install themes on my HTC ONE m8 even though it is the best Android phone on the market right now with snapdragon 801 and 2G of ram. Useless themes drag a lot of power from phones especially low specd phones.

Lumia 1520, really? With 6.0 inches and 8.7mm and weights a whooping 209g. That's a NO NO. My Lumia 920 is already too heavy at 185g. A galaxy Note 3 weighs 168g. I am talking phones, not phablets. If I need a phablet I would get a Samsung Galaxy note because let's be honest here, nothing beats the Note 3 when it comes to gigantic phones (phablets) with its s pen, giant battery and multitasking.

When it comes to normal widows phones, there is nothing out there that is better than Lumia 920. Even the Lumia 1020 is not a worthy upgrade. It has the same MSM8960 snapdragon found on Lumia 920, also same screen resoution. The only difference is the camera and I am not really a camera freak, the 8MP on 920 is enough for me. The only phone with tangible upgrade is Lumia 930.

You may be right. But then look again closely, there's really not a lumia out now that is better than lumia 920 in terms of internals. Lumia 925 only has a different body, the internals are the same. The only lumia that would make me dump my 920 is lumia 930 and its not even in Nigeria yet. I am rocking wp 8.1 on my 920 and will dispose it as soon as 930 becomes available.

These are all rumours. In as much as I want Di Maria to sign for man utd, another news says Di Maria has rejected Man utd due to lack of champions league football. One thing I'm sure of, if United must get him, he won't come cheap considering he won't be playing champions league. United better hurry up and pay whatever Madrid asks or they might lose him.

I know u are using windows phone., I also use Lumia 920. I wrote my comment because u said android lags and hangs. Until u use a true flaship Android phone like HTC ONE or Nexus, u will never know how sweet Android is. Even Samsung flagship phones do lag because of stewpid touchwiz. But trust me HTC ONE does not lag. I have android 4.4.2 kitkat with sense 6 and its the best thing to happen to Android.

HTC ONE. I really don't see any ned to root this phone.. got everything I need and its more fluid and faster than my Lumia 920.

Lag or hang? U are probably stuck with tecno android phones. I own a lumia 920 and it is a beast of a phone, no lag whatsoever. I had it with Samsung Galaxy s3 which was ageing and lagging. Until I got my HTC one the I edperianced a true lag free phone .

Android is power hungry, so if u want to enjoy it don't get a tecno and expect no lag. Don't get a Samsung that is full of crapware that makes the OS lag. Get a nexus phone or HTC one, I can assure u there is zero lag. My lumia 920 was my work horse because of the fluidity. But since I got my HTC one, my lumia has always been in my pocket, I only use it to make phone calls. HTC one m8 comes with powerful snapdragon 801 with 2g of ramz 1080p display and sense 6 is smoother and lighter than Samsung touchwiz.

Football has changed over the years. It is no longer by individual talents of the olden days. These days teamwork is more important and that is what Messi has in abundant. These days defenders are smarter and it is not easy to dribble ur way from ur own half and score . if u are still judging by the football they played in the olden days then no player will ever surpass the likes of Pele or maradona .. Ever.

Uefa champions league is winner takes all, so is the FA cup. There is actually a medal for 3rd place at the world cup (I think). Moreover world cup is held once in 4 years, 3rd place medal is a worthy consolation.

Messi is an amazing player that has done wonders in the Barcelona colors but when you think of players like Bakenbaur, Platini, Maradona etc. that have single handedly carried both club and country to legendary performances and win championships over and over, I think Messi still has a long way...winning the world cup with Argentina will be a great start though

So.. Let me get u straight. Bakenbaur played goalkeeper, platini played defence, maradona played midfield. Wait o.. Where's the attack? Enough of this single handedly already, a team is made up of 11 players, no player can single handedly win a tournament. Maradona was fantastic in his era and he carried Argentina no doubt, but without his team mates he wouldn't be able to do it.

Plus football has changed from the time when a player will dribble his way from his own half and score. Now its all about team work. Even Messi doesn't dribble anymore, Ronaldo doesn't dribble anymore. The most important thing is to give a good pass, create space with ur runs, open play for ur team mates, and then shoot precisely when opportunity arises.
