NessaFresh: Ok my aunt's son who is just about 8 years old came home with a weekend assignment. He probably did it yesterday been saturday but today his Mum decided to cross check it. Speaking good english has nothing to do with intelligence,, you can stay @home and learn to speak good english just by hearing people speaking after all its a language, We learn english @school becuz we have to know it to understand what we have been taught in it and most student are not that good in english but are very good in relevant subjects. Imagine yourself been taught in your local dialect, You wld understand it better becuz you understand your dialect very well. Checkout all this advanced countries like japan, china, spain, russia ,Australia. Etc this are countries that don't recognise english, they teach and learn with their local dialects. And we can see how advanced they are. Speaking good english doesn't make you wise or intelligent |
