As for cousins. I just dey laugh grin
Coming from an Israeli government who claimed last night dat all Iranian missiles were intercepted and the Iran operation was a failure? Against the evidences of our own eyes? So better ask your cousins again! There is a total media censorship on effects of Iranian attack by the Israeli government.
Again you're full of shit.....What was the base that was hit, this shouldn't be hard for you to tell me na, just the name and I'll provide the evidence to support or debunk your claim.......I'm not interested in dragging hypothesis with you, let's discuss intellectually please leave rambling for parrot grin

Reuters reports that the Israeli ambassador to Cyprus, along with two companions, has been kidnapped along the coast.

Contact with them has been lost for several hours, and they have been taken to an unknown location. grin
Let me know, if u want more current ‘LIES’
How does that relate with the military bases being destroyed? Don't change topic, focus on the LAMBA you provided earlier......Which of the bases was destroyed? O ni ro grin grin

Local sources: All military sites that are considered military bases for the Israeli occupation army and are considered the army's operational bases against the Gaza Strip and Lebanon were destroyed.

Whether deployed inside the Gaza Strip in Netzarim or located on the Lebanese border or Gaza, as well as the bases deployed on all fronts of occupied Palestine and the air bases.
Including their Demona nuclear base and all their oil rigs in the Mediterranean Sea
Israel lost so much last night. Even all IDF troops in their Netzarim base in Gaza were not spared
Bullshit.....Why una dey like make up rubbish on this platform.....Lying with so much confidence, I have two cousins deployed to those bases and as of this morning both still alive and well, one was even complaining of boredom on Instagram last night......Why the LAMBA?

You're delusional.

Strawman.

This is a shit argument. First of all, these crossdressing idiots are not gays. Being gay has nothing to do with a damn dress. Trans are just degenerates in a dress. Second, heterosexual men (including those in a dress) are already seen as a danger to society. Every woman walking alone at night is watching for men. Every country has miles of laws that exist purely because of the various horrible crimes that are almost exclusively committed by men.

I'm sure those statistics are very comforting to a woman or small girl (and their parent) walking into an isolated place that's supposed to be for females, and seeing a grown man naked.

Nonsense.

You're lying. You're being paid to post this bullshit about trannies.
Again those who can't make factual arguments resort to tantrums....Grow up kid!

I presented facts on how sex offenders are using this nonsense to commit sex crimes, r-ping off women, even in a hospital, and how grown men are cheating women out of opportunities (money, education) and causing/risking serious injuries in sports. And you actually dismissed that to say some utter nonsense about "wHaT aBoUt YoU pErSoNaLLy." Don't even try to turn this around on me.

I didn't even get into the physical harm this crap does to the vulnerable children, teens, and adults they brainwash. There are deformed people walking around who never went through puberty, mutilated people, and people pumped full of drugs that no healthy person should be taking. Some of these people are sterile. They will never get their normal, healthy body back. They will have health problems for the rest of their life, physical and mental. Some of them will have health problems in their 20s and 30s that most people encounter in their 80s.

I don't care who you are, if you defend this shit, you're sick.

This isn't about gays and lesbians. This is about corporate greed going so far as to disable people from childhood. This is about degenerates finding new ways to harm women. And people like you are a part of that. And why? Because you're disgusting and want to have sex with Bobrisky? Because some disgusting oyinbo cut you a check?

Wake up.
You didn't present anything credible, you used isolated events to justify your bias! I countered your argument with evidence of peeping toms (Heterosexual males) peeping inside women's bathroom and dressing rooms.

These are heterosexual men o, should heterosexual men be hated? Should we see them as a danger to society?

How many women are raped by heterosexual men in a year? How many of them are transgender? Less than 0.1%, so according to your logic, a woman should be more worried about a 0.1% chance of danger than a 25% chance?

I'm a stat guy and I earned my Ph.D arguing public policies in the USA, when you're ready to use real stats instead of isolated incidences, let me know!

Asking you to host me was hypothetical ... and on the assumption that you will agree ... why not answer the question?
On the freedom and legality to choose gender ,..the point is not about whether I hate it or love it ... it is about it will affect society and significantly change culture like never before in hundreds of years.
About changing in the washrooms...I was specifically referring to young girls. What rights do we have that they don't have? And where do we draw the line ...or should there be a line? Some people love having sex with animals ... should a man have the right to identify as a dog and be free to have sex with dogs? Same with adult siblings wanting to marry each other... shouldn't they have the right?
I get it... some people like you just don't care ... as long as it doesn't affect you. As for me ... like you said...if it is all made legal... what can I do?...nothing. I see it as Prophecy being fulfilled and there is nothing anyone can do to stop the spread
Again I fail to see how this personally affects you negatively, don't speak for the society, speak for YOURSELF! Do you live in the USA? Do you have young kids? Is your relationship so estranged with your kids that you won't know how they feel and act? Why would a school know more about your kids than YOU?

I'll go back to the statement, we are Africans! I'll tell you right now before any of my kids get out of hand, I'll ship them back to 9ja and give them a brain reset! As Africans, we still hold the key to correct some of societal ills......I just find these hypothetical discussions comical!
Christianity EtcRe: Transgenderism: The Confusion In Identifying As Who You're Not (Photos) by abbey621(m): 9:40pm On Sep 29, 2024
Originalsly:
No doubt ... in theory and definition sex and gender are not the same ...but in general usage either is used to refer to male or female ... as in a transgender is seen as one who has changed his sex by identifying as the opposite sex ... or undergoing surgeries or treatments to mimic the body of the opposite sex ... almost all being men wanting to have breasts and crevices as women. Just bear in mind this is a public discussion forum and not an examination .
On washrooms abroad ... women washrooms are so designed that one can see only the woman entering the washroom ... can't see the stalls ... can't see what they do after they enter....even if the door is left open. The girl will enter the stall by herself... do what she has to do ...and comes out of the stall but still in the privacy of the washroom where the mother will fix her clothes or whatever before she leaves. And no ..the father is not allowed in. The pedophile uses the transgender rule to enter the washroom ...so when he comes out of the stall he will be spying on the little girls as their parents wipe them off ...change their underwear or whatever. There are also perverts who use the same method to have access. Transgender may not affect you personally ... but your children and the society as a whole. For example ... in California ... the child has the right to decide his identity. Your son ...attending school ... can decide he wants to be a girl ..ehmmm ...identify as a girl. He is allowed to change his name and the school must make the necessary adjustments. It is illegal for the school to notify the parents ..yes .you read right . Will you be affected by this? ...will the society be affected by this? And we wonder why there are sooo many young open lesbians and homosexuals proudly walking the streets. Maybe if you have a face to face with a transgender you will see what the fuss is about. I have ... often...and still can't get used to it. Several times...trying to deliver to a man ..be like "Are you George?" .... and he responds ...." no ... he's my husband." Everytime... the response is rejected by my brain... it has to run around my head a few times before being processed. It's at a point where you can't address a man as Sir or Mister because you don't know his gender at that moment. What if I'm travelling through your city and as a fellow Nairalander I ask that you host my wife and I for a night while we're in transit ... you agree ...and I show up with a 300 pound burly bearded guy as my wife...my wife because he identifies as a woman ... and there is rumbling in the other room over night ... do you think it will affect you??
All the things you wrote are hypotheticals and you have zero concrete evidence that it affects you personally, why would I host you when I know nothing about you and your partner? You dey watch too many films o grin grin. Even your example of California is comedic......We have 50 states in the USA and I've lived in 16 of them, WHAT STOPS YOU FROM MOVING YOUR FAMILY TO A STATE WITH LAWS THAT FITS YOUR VIEWPOINT?

Your depiction of the restroom is also inaccurate, most people change inside the stalls with the door locked, most people are not changing in the open space inside the restroom. The stalls inside places like the airport are also equipped with privacy screens so your point seems farfetched!

I find it funny that you grew up in a nation where kids play outside in their underwears and nobody bats an eye but na the imaginary offense of a transgender be the problem? COME ON MAN, DON'T BE RIDICULOUS!

The point remains these are human being and if the law allows them to exist with the same rights as you.......WTF you gon do? You can either choose to hate or you can accept the new reality and guide you and your family to recognize these things and avoid them whenever possible......Avoidance is not the same thing as hate, afterall as humans we already segregate ourselves based on social and economic status, lifestyle choices is just another on the list!

In respect it's your personal view ... but what you are describing hair with the fake hair ...bums .. breasts..nails .. clothing can all come under the umbrella of disguise or deception . This disguise is nothing new ... It has been so for centuries ... but regardless of the disguise ... when push comes to shove ... the person goes to need to be doctor ... to get a passport ... for.a job ... whatever ... the person has to identify as male or female ... his gender. The person has a womb and vagina ... female. ... a dick...male ...even if he has size ee breasts...male. As it is today in some societies ... what you are supporting is in effect ...but the problem is some want to be a woman on Tuesday and identify as a man on Friday. See the confusion? This is happening. A man identifies as female and enters the ladies washroom ... the transgender supporters are speechless because they now fear pedophiles will enter and lust after their young daughters.... see the shortsightedness in transgenderism? In the long run ...the agenda is to make the human race a one sex race ... the destruction of the original human... void of humanity ...void of spirituality... to move him away from God. After all .....there is nothing new under the sun.... we already been there.
Firstly, you've confused sex with gender, two different things according to science! Next, we are Africans, which African mother would leave her young daughter alone to go to a public restroom without following her? Abroad is even better because female restrooms are not like that of men, there's privacy so if your young daughter locks the door, there won't be a problem!

All in all, we seem to be taking panadol on imaginary issues with pretty simple solutions! If we are cool with BBL and other advances brought by science and human dissastisfaction, I don't see where we can draw the line at transgenderism. Now would I ever encourage such, hell no! Does that mean I spew hate and say they don't deserve to live and be happy?

We need to let humans live the way they want to, as long as we are not personally affected.......I've yet to see one credible critic(Apart from sports) explain how transgenderism negatively affects him or her!

Whether mentally, physically or spiritually challenged, poeople have a right to live and identify as they please! The problem I have is when they try to spread their lifestyle to those who don't want it.

I don't see transgenderism any different from women who put on dead human hair, those who bleach their skin, men taking steroids just to stay buff and so on, all these scenarios are some form of mental degradation. The feeling of not being content with one' s appearance or lifestyle!

Your issue is that you argue blindly and then pile on more blind arguments because you don't want to admit your initial quote was out of point.

Again, go and read the original story and then read and understand my comment which you quoted.

If you don't comprehend such simple analogy, I cannot help your headless arguments.

I wonder when it needed to be explained that someone earning MINIMUM wage is at the bottom rung of the wage structure in any country.
An analogy using wrong premise/data? Here are your own words:

A straightforward analogy which makes more sense is how much fuel can be bought with the minimum wage?
Look at USA. Average minimum monthly wage is about $1200. Average pms price is $1 per litre. So minimum wage in USA gets you about 1200 litres of pms.
SEE THE RUBBISH YOU WROTE, HOW IS THIS FACTUAL? Even after giving you the analysis showing this is incorrect, you're still blabbing......I give up!

You really need to stop acting wise and take corrections. The term relative had nothing to do with your initial claim and that's what we are still talking about. There's no such thing as relative when it comes to who is considered poor in the USA, the government already established that guideline. So I don't get what you're arguing here.

The issue is clear as the difference between day and night, if you are a minimum wage earner in the USA, you're struggling. If you're a minimum wage earner in Nigeria, you're struggling, this is not an opinion but cold hard facts......It's okay to admit you were wrong abeg!

Speak for yourself.

Cost of living differs across countries. What you see as poor wages where you stay in the US might be something else for someone who relocates there.

Even in Nigeria, professors who earn some of the highest salaries in the public service, outside of political office holders, are complaining. So everything is relative.
It's not what I see as poor, it is what the government considers poor, over here there's an actual range/guideline to measuring poverty. Just like professors are complaining in 9ja, white collar professionals are also complaining about the economy over here.

You are only fact checking what you insinuated.
Majority of people that say that actually mean it! Again our only issue here is the insinuation that minimum wage workers in America have it so much better than those in Nigeria when it comes to fuel affordability.....All in all, the difference is not that much, both workers are bottom of the totem pole.

2. OK, I am poor but I still have better access than a Nigerian in Nigeria on middle-wage is what my argument has been from the start. So, why do I feel you are suddenly trying to make this about your ego even in your blatant ignorance of what it means to be on minimum wage in America? grin

You said earlier that you subsidize my living here in America, and I thank you for it since that goes even more to show you truly have no clue what living on minimum wage is, right? grin
You and whom dey argue that? You jumped into a discussion about fuel affordability like a bebeto.

In your attempt to disprove my analysis about the average expenses for average Americans you inserted your own experience.

That's why I said mention the context....It's not conjecture if it actually gives people a deep analysis on the claim you made. The way you said it gave people the impression that people earning $1200 in the USA can actually use most of it for fuel. You should be tired because you are running around in circles.

Again, read and understand my initial comment which you quoted.

You are free to do your own analysis of expenses, I was responding directly to the topic about pms prices. My position was more or less an analogy or sample. It is just like when we say minimum wage cannot buy a bag of rice. It is not expected that the minimum wage earner buys a bag of rice monthly. It is just to show that the purchasing power has reduced in comparison to a particular period which is why I do not support comparisons that require currency conversions across different countries. It is very misleading.

To this your very specific comment above, there would always be expenses. The person that earns 70k also makes expenses.

Are both instances poor wages? Absolutely. But that is also the only SI units in both countries we can safely make reasonable assumptions with.
Again I have no objections to what you just wrote here, my only beef was with the $1200 monthly earnings being equated to how much fuel could be bought. In fact if you had stated it was just a sample, I wouldn't even bother to question it.

I had to yawn my way past your usual uninformed ridiculous claim. 🥱🥱🥱🥱

Anyways, your initial attempt to somehow equate life on minimum wage in Nigeria to life on minimum wage in the U.S. That, as I have already shown is not and can't be the case unless the Nigerian Government were to first
▶ Increase minimum wage to levels that compare to that obtained outside of Nigeria, for instance in the U.S. where you had attempted to compare it to
▶ Provided subsidy programs such as healthcare and even food subsidy programs that allow those on minimum wage to not only thrive but have a chance to raise themselves from that point up
▶ Upward mobility training programs many of which are geared towards ensuring that those at the bottom can get the skills needed to raise themselves through necessary training...

Until these are put in place, you can never and should never equate life on minimum wage in Nigeria to life on minimum wage in any developed country out there including the U.S.A. 🤔
Again don't know where you got your analysis from, my main contention is disposable income to buy fuel for minimum wage worker, all the other BS you wrote na for your pocket!

You are obviously a confused fellow.

I should give you analysis of what exactly?

Go and read my comment you first quoted so you can get your bearings. You quoted me first and I responded in line with your quotes, I don't go off tangent as you appear to be doing.

And if you insist you actually meant to quote me, then what exactly is your grouse with my statement? Because it was a simple analysis. This unit of money gets you this amount of fuel in this country and vice versa using thier local currencies.

You can do your own calculations for other expenses, that is your headache. By the way, what is tax? Is it not an expense on the part of the person paying it?
You're not very bright are you? I simply called out your initial analysis that $1200 can buy so much petrol(YOU FORGOT TO FACTOR IN EXPENSES).....I analyzed that $1200 and deducted expenses and showed you how a minimum wage worker might not have more than $100 left for petrol. I did this to show you how even in a country that chose to subsidize its citizens' lifestyle, the minimum wage worker is still heavily shortchanged!

I did this in hopes of you realizing minimum wage workers will always feel the brunt of the economy more than those who are financially sound. I did this so that many of una would stop the baseless comparison of USA and Nigeria. Your analysis would have been on point if you said those minimum wage workers can afford to buy petrol with 10% of their monthly income and that is comparable to the same set of workers in Nigeria only able to use 7000 Naira per month to buy petrol.........Both situations STINKS!

I'm tired of going back and forth,

@ivandragon 1. Now I am absolutely certain you have never been to the U.S.A. yourself. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

2. I have never applied for Welfare, now referred to as TANF. I have never had need of that since there are other freely available programs out there for even illegal immigrants to take advantage of that would more than suffice for anyone who reasonably wants to get by.

▶Deciding to take on roommates since you cannot afford to foot the rent bill all on your own does not equate to being on welfare. It is actually considered common sense out here and anywhere else in the world 😁

▶The foodbank is available to everyone as there is no qualification necessary. It is taken advantage of by pretty much anyone who finds himself needing to tighten the belts at any time, so sorry.. not Welfare. A good majority of Americans had to rely on the food bank during the COVID shutdowns. Even illegal immigrants take good advantage of it. 😁

▶The Affordable Care Act (ACA) made Health Insurance mandatory and expanded the Medicaid program to all those of lower income. So, I am not sure why you think that this subsidy should be considered Welfare when it is available to pretty much all those in the lower wage brackets out there. 😁

3. It's ok how you wish to consider me a charity case since I have been able to pretty much dash all ideas you thought you had at your disposal to use in arguing foolishly against the other commenters' statements. Sorry!! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Life on minimum wage in America cannot even be compared in the slightest to life on what constitutes slave wages in Nigeria.
Who was talking about TANF? You specifically mentioned food pantry, guess how they got the food? Ding ding ding.......Donations from food manufacturers, suppliers, banks, people etc......Food pantries are meant for people facing hunger or extremely low income, in short, WELFARE!

You qualified for free Obamacare and you don't see it as welfare? You think the money used to subsidized your healthcare cost magically flew out of thin air? Nope, it is taken from hardworking citizens like myself! The more money I make the more that gets deducted to support charity cases like yourself so with all due respect own up to it!

Finally your half smart attempt to disguise your situation as non welfare is WILD, your situation was not temporary, it is your way of life for years. You deliberately chose to remain poor so that you can qualify for welfare and yet too proud to admit it is welfare.....You're funny grin grin

This discussion was never about US being better than Nigeria for minimum wage workers or vice versa, it was about petrol cost and how minimum wage workers are affected the most in either countries due to expenses......Your unintelligent attempt to equate your charity lifestyle to that of the average American is way off point!
