I don't know why people are complaining, the worse this baba performs the better................The only way to kick him out in 2027 is to present a candidate that represents a complete 180 degrees from him. The more he fails, the more that candidate looks like a savior to Nigerians, even the marketwomen and the agberos would welcome the savior after this reneweed shege grin grin grin

When it was the turn of Buhari.....the West kept mute, they enjoyed all the humiliations of the Buhari on South South and South East.... And that was the agreement that gave birth to multiple corrupt practices in Nigeria...

Today, it is the turn of the West and by agreement, the North should keep quiet as the country is brought down to shambles ...

Together, we will just be looking at both tribes destroy this country......
And once it is destroyed, you think you and your people will survive? Sky go fall, no be on top one person head na grin grin

A toilet cleaner can work his/her way to top management.
Sidney James Weinber-former CEO of Goldman Sachs.. was a cleaner’s assistant .. and later became CEO.

Mary Barra - CEO of General Motors started working for GM from secondary school and rose to CEO..
And mostly importantly can change his/her career to become a doctor/lawyer/engineer unlike in Naija
Yet there are more millionaires with grass to grace stories in 9ja than any other black nation. From selling gala to bus conductor, many have risen to become boss!

Like Buhari was presented by Tinubu
and became the father of failure

North has ruled this country more,
I don't see how they're better off than the rest of the county..

my point, it doesn't matter where the president comes from, it matters if he's a righteous performer and has integrity.

When the righteous are in authority
the people rejoice

What yoruba people saw in Buhari and Tinubu should be studied in university, so it won't happen to mankind anymore
They singlehandedly killed Nigeria
You're still missing the point, what are you willing to do to make sure a righteous person gets there? You keep shouting Yoruba people as if no Igbo or SS or Northerner voted for them.

I've given you the recipe for getting your person there, it is up to una to use wisdom and apply it. Moaning about a tribe won't solve shin shin, study Obasanjo and how he and even Tinubu made GEJ palatable to Nigerians, it is a work of art by a Yoruba person, the same Yorubas you seem to despise now grin grin grin

GreaterFuture:
Irrespective of one's personal experience, emotions, appreciativeness, simplicity etc. high paying should be do certain things.
Above average is something that covers decent accommodation, Average day to day bills, nothing too high, good healthy food, enough for healthcare or insurance, savings and Recreation/entertainments.
Then if it's well above this range, we say it's high paying
Is 70k, 100k, or 200k now anything close to high paying, objectively speaking & balanced, irrespective of how that earner may feel it go about life?
How's this objective and not subjective? So you mean irrespective of educational level, professional experience and expenses, the definition of a high payig job should be the same?

So you mean give two people 2 million Naira per month, one is able to maintain a small family, live within his/her means and invest while the other gives birth to 4 kids, carry oloshos and spends way above his means. You mean the definition of high income is the same for both of them and not subjective? No be juju be that? grin grin

Gerrard59:
The mistakes OP made are: not mentioning the grade of employment - experienced hire or entry-level; industry/field and state of residence. Even in the US and UK, salaries across fields and regions differ. The major difference between Nigeria and the US especially is the latter churns out jobs pretty regularly. Although some industries have had a lull in employment and inflation has devalued salaries.

Everywhere toff!
I agree to an extent, the USA also has high underemployment rate or even unemployment rate outside of the bullshit figures the government puts out. In the real world, people are going 6 months to over a year before getting another job after being fired or quitting. The problem with Nigeria is not enough companies and not enough innovation.

The USA had to go through a period of great depression which forced it to change the way people lived and earned. The private sector went through a complete rebuild and about over 10 government policies came into effect. During that time people hardly ate twice a day and basic things were considered luxury. If Nigeria is to develop and truly change, the government must rid itself of hardcore corruption and the people must change their mindset!

High paying Job or pay is not Subjective. It is very much Objective. Standard metrics exist that define out human experience define it clearly.
Within the Nigerian context, high paying is not Subjective. Averagely speaking, there is an Objective point we can can call high paying or higher paying... From there onwards
You're caapping! I've specifically highlighted the different viewpoints, kindly read again. No such thing as averagely speaking! If you doubt that then can you please give me a figure that you consider high salary?
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Do People Still Get High Paying Jobs Nowadays by abbey621(m): 3:26pm On Aug 17, 2024
Human beings always compariing nonsense......Some even dey use USD calculate, job wey you started for 70k 3 years ago and they now increased your salary to 150k, some mumu go convert am to dollars and expect the companies to increase salary to something suitable in USD. ......No be juju be that? Is the company making twice as before in profits or you just expect it to perform magic?

Let's all go back to common sense reasoning, high paying job is subjective, for someone earning 60k, 150k na very high paying job. For someone earning 150k, 500k na very high paying job and for someone earning 500k and above, 2 to 3 milla per month can be considered high paying, while someone in my condition won't even consider 15 milla as high paying.

All in all, even if na 100k you dey earn, what matters are your expenses, more than 50% of all workers in Nigeria earn less than 150k per month, how dem dey do am? Figure it out and you'll discover the difference between knowledge and wisdom!

Except Sony also released a statement that this wasn't authorized, Trump has supporters like his fellow white supremacists country singers, use that instead, leave Celine alone
Read what I wrote again, the song is available for commercial use, anybody can purchase it for an event, I've purchased several for my business marketing. What was not authorized was her image being used as a prop for the event......Know the difference!
Foreign AffairsRe: Celine Dion Slams Trump For Playing ‘titanic’ Song At Rally by abbey621(m): 5:08pm On Aug 11, 2024
Y'all really think Trump controls the music at his rallies? This is another classic example of left wing desperation using cheap sentiments to portray a false narrative.

Music such as this one has commercial license that cna be purchased from Sony itself, this is not an endorsement but permission to use the music publicly. Even Sony can't deny this, what they are probably against is playing the video and for some to get the worng message that Dion supports Trump!

Lawyer that does not know the difference between technicalities and outright wrong. Nigeria has always been a nation of medicine after death, so many lawyers and genuises but none of them noticed the ambuigity in INEC's operations guide and the Electoral Act until it was too late.

The Einsteins of criticism would rather talk about blame and faults than to be proactive and point out errors before they occur......A nation full of saboteurs grin grin

PoliticsRe: 10 Largest Refineries In The World by abbey621(m): 1:03pm On Aug 09, 2024
PHAYOL81:
Nigeria still import PMS, to begin with, because Dangote refinery is yet to supply the market with it. And in addition, even if we have 60million litres daily requirement of PMS in line with our recent consumption rate (which I later found out to have peak at 64millions in June)in support of your claim, yet with the Dangote refinery configure to produce exactly 55% (as against my goof of 35% in previous post)of PMS from each barrel of crude, then the refinery is self sufficient with little to spare.
A 55% of 650000bpd will give us 60775000litres. Now, consider there are other private players already onstream, with one or two having capacities as big as 100,000, then Dangote would always have spare for exportation. We should also bear in mind the lost to smuggling. And moreover, there's the PH refinery in the picture too, if you're an optimist like me.
You made an allegation of refineries not ever performing to the fullness of their capacities but findings show that's not always entirely the truth. Majority of them in USA and China do 98 or 99% throughput which is as good as 100% and the challenges for others underwhelming performance to hit the height of their capacities had often been identified as FEEDSTOCKS supply insufficiency, DEMAND insufficiency, and MAINTENANCE issues. So, it ain't like none has ever produce as much as its potential stipulates.
I'm not going to argue with you too much, see the part in BOLD, prove it! I live in the USA and I've audited all types of companies from energy to the government. Majority of refineries in the USA are struggling to reach 90% efficiency not to talk of 98%. This is a country with no vandalism, advance technologies and so on........You want to compare it to Nigeria where all sorts of factors comes into play? No be juju be that?
