I do believe that the english press do play a big role in all this, they overblow issues and publish a lot of rumours, It is what the english public thrives on really. On the issue of ronaldo leaving Man U, why have the guy come out to say what his stance is?

@ Loyika: Shevchenko have had it so rough in the past couple of weeks, so any goal he scores is a very much welcomed development no matter what the opposition is, Besides Wycombe plays with a lot of energy and they defeated two premiership sides on their way to the semis!!

They are the ones that need to up their game as Drogba, Essien,and joe cole have done! SWP for me has no excuse as he was given a very good run of play last season but he just could not repeat the kind of form he had for Man City!Ballack himself has already admitted that he needs to up his game.Same goes for Mikel!What makes you think Mikel will walk unchallenged into Man U or Arsenal first team??It all boils down to performance on the pitch!if he plays well when he has the oppurtunity, he gets more playing time, if not he gets the bench, I think he's been featuring more for chelsea now and the situation is not that bad for him!

I dont see the rational behind your comparison of Leeds United and Chelsea!Go and read more on how leeds united collapsed and you will find out that we are not in the same situation as they were then. We are not in debt!, yeah we are still operating at a loss, but it is a loss that can dissappear in a matter of years (as long s the trophy keeps coming!). We are actually in a better situation than even Man U. I even still like our situation much better than that of Arsenal, We have a blend of young and old players who are winning trophies Unlike the bunch of misfiring young gooners in Arsenal.
The ownership situation in Chelsea might not be ideal but there is little one can do to stop some rich billionaire from taking over your club!How many clubs have been bought over now?Liverpool is next on the line! But i dare say that we would rather have a Roman Abramovich who loves football and is interested in the long/short term success of chelsea) as against the glazers who are just in it for bussiness. As Akola said, Chelsea were in existence before Roman and If he dissapears (i dnt know if you are tyring to murder him), there will not be a lack of investors, so life continues!!!
