"The Nigeria Police Force has arrested five suspected political thugs in Ikire on the eve of the Peoples Democratic Party rally in Irewole LGA, holding on Wednesday.

Arms and ammunition were also reportedly recovered from the thugs.The troops while on patrol arrested five suspected political thugs in their hide out at Sabo area, Ikire. They were arrested while in possession of one 36 Hand Grenade, two empty AK 47 Riffle Magazines, a pair of Military Uniforms, Combat boot and a bag containing personal belongings,”

APC plans to use the thugs to dissuade people from coming out en masse to welcome the PDP candidate.

“The APC leaders in Irewole, Dr. Peter Babalola has mobilised thugs and members of his party to foment chaos in Ikire to create an impression that the PDP candidate is not welcomed and that the party is not popular in the town.

We hereby call the attention of the State Commissioner of Police, DSS and Othe security Agencies to provide adequate security during the Wednesday rally of the PDP. Enough security persionel should be deployed to comb campaign venues to ensure adequate security of lives and property.

The security personnel should be deployed to strategic locations in Ikire and suburbs to forestall any breakdown of law and order.

First Lady Aisha Buhari sent some cheery news home yesterday from London about her husband, Pres. Buhari: he will return soon. And he’s recovering fast from his ailment. But she wants Nigerians to keep praying for him.

Hajiya Aisha is currently in London to be with the President. She gave the update on the President’s health in a message to the 23rd Annual Ramadan Lecture of Ansar-ud-deen Society of Nigeria (ADS) held in Abuja. .

The First Lady, who left for London about five days ago, was represented at the lecture by her Senior Special Assistant on Administration, Dr. Hajo Sani. “My husband is recovering very fast. And very soon, he will return to the country to resume his official duties,” she said.

“I thank Nigerians for their prayers for my husband. Please, do not relent in your prayers.” The message sparked shouts of Allahu Akbar! Allahu Akbar!! Allahu Akbar!!!(God is great) by the Muslim faithful. .

She added:”The President will be back very soon.” She said she was “hopeful of observing this year’s Eid-el-Kabir festival at the ADS Mosque in Maitama as she had been doing even before getting into office.”

We brought you reports about a man who beat his 7-year-old son to death in Port Harcourt. The report by a psychologist reads:

What a cruel world. This week Tuesday, between the hours of 8 to 9 am. I saw crowd of people around my vicinity gathered this little boy, so I stopped by and inquired what happened.

They told me this little boy on his way to school, stole doughnut from a shop. The people whom he stole the doughnut even gave him more of it and mineral and asked him to go.

They all claimed that his father and stepmum have the habit of starving and beating him to stupor on daily basis. I saw so many scars on his body.
I took the boy to my house, interviewed him, and he told me so many things. How he has been suffering since his mother left his father.

I gave him some biscuits, asked him to come and eat at my place anytime and promised to see his father this week before he left for school just to wake up this morning with shouting that his father has beaten him to death.

His father has finally killed him. This happened in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria.

Now, we have gathered photos of his father, his step-mum, and pictures of the little child after he died from severe beating he received from his father.

A kung fu master who dragged seven cars with his penis has become a new world record holder - by towing a helicopter even further with his manh00d . Several hundred people as well as official adjudicators watched as Ye Hongwei, who goes by the stage name "Ye Wei", towed the heavy military helicopter with a rope tied around his genitals.
Footage of the incredible feat shows him stuttering at first, unable to get the momentum needed to get the aircraft's wheels rolling on the tarmac outside the hangar.
But he eventually summons the inner strength necessary to drag the helicopter over 10 metres (32 feet 9 inches) - beating his intended target of 8 metres (26 feet 3 inches).
He was then given his world record certificate by officials representing the World Record Academy.
Ye is from the city of Zibo in East China's Shandong Province, where he has been practicing "zen tai chi" for over 30 years, but the feat was conducted in Fangshan District in Chinese capital Beijing.
Speaking after his successful attempt, Ye Wei said: "I don't know why I struggled in the beginning. I felt a bit nervous and unsure. "But I mustered up the energy needed and started the helicopter moving.
He added proudly: "I will continue practicing so I can break new records in the future."
In April, Ye towed seven Audis weighing 12.6 tonnes using his manhood, dragging the vehicles for a total of 8 metres (26 feet 3 inches).
That attempt broke his previous record of pulling five cars.

South Korea’s military on Tuesday fired warning shots at a suspected drone from North Korea amid tension over Pyongyang’s latest missile test which drew international condemnation and a warning from China.
The identity of the object remained unclear, the military said, but Yonhap news agency said it was possibly a drone, more than 90 shots were fired in return and it disappeared from radar screens.
The incursion came with tension already high on the Korean peninsula after the North’s test-launch of a ballistic missile test on Sunday which Pyongyang said proved advances in its pursuit of building a nuclear-tipped weapon that can hit U.S. targets.
The U.S. has been trying to persuade China, North Korea’s lone major ally, to do more to rein in North Korea, which has conducted dozens of missile launches and tested two nuclear bombs since the start of 2016, in defiance of UN Security Council sanctions and resolutions.
The North has made no secret of its plans to develop a missile capable of striking the U.S. and has ignored calls to halt its weapons programs, even from China.
It says the programme is necessary to counter U.S. aggression.
“We urge North Korea to not do anything to again violate UN Security Council resolutions,” Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said in a statement posted on the Foreign Ministry’s website on Tuesday.
“At the same time, we hope all parties can maintain restraint, not be influenced by every single incident, …persist in carrying out Security Council resolutions on North Korea and persevere with the resolution of the issue through peaceful means, dialogue and consultation.”
Wang was responding to reporters’ questions on Monday while in Ivory Coast, according to the statement.
The North’s official KCNA news agency, citing the spokesman for the foreign ministry, said the country had “substantially displayed” the capabilities for mounting a nuclear attack on Hawaii and Alaska and had built full capabilities for attacking the U.S. mainland.
U.S. and South Korean officials and experts believe the North is several years away from having such a capability.
North Korea said on Monday that Sunday’s launch met all technical requirements that could allow mass-production of the missile, which it calls the Pukguksong-II.
The test was North Korea’s second in a week and South Korea’s new liberal government said it dashed its hopes for peace on the peninsula.
The UN Security Council condemned the launch and again expressed its concern over the North’s behavior. The Security Council is due to meet behind closed doors later on Tuesday.
North Korea’s recent missile tests were a legitimate act of self-defense by a “fully-fledged nuclear power”, North Korean diplomat Ju Yong Chol told the UN Conference on Disarmament in Geneva on Tuesday.
“It is the U.S.’ hostile policy and its aggressive joint military drills, nuclear threats and military build-up around the Korean peninsula that really aggravates the situation on the Korean peninsula and the region and which compels the DPRK to also up its nuclear deterrence,” he said.
DPRK are the initials for the North’s official name, the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.
Ju was the only speaker at the forum who did not begin his remarks by offering condolences to Britain for the victims of Monday night’s bomb attack at a concert in Manchester.
The South Korean military did not say if the unidentified object was hit by the warning shots on Tuesday, but it disappeared from military radar.
North Korea has previously sent drones into South Korean airspace, with some crashing.
In January 2016, South Korea fired warning shots at a suspected drone which turned back.
U.S. President Donald Trump has warned that a “major, major conflict” with North Korea is possible over its weapons programmes, although U.S. officials say tougher sanctions, not military force, are the preferred option to counter the North Korean threat.

A final student of one the Nigerian universities, have taken to her social media page, to cry out for help over the challenges she's facing as a student. The girl who said she choose to be called a beggar instead of a prostitute, further disclosed that she doesn't want to sell her body for money like other girls.
