RomanceA Letter To Funke Adejumo by Abdulazeez99(op):
Dear Funke Adejumo,

Saying a man not prospering after marriage ,means the wife is a witch, is wrong.

The Bible says he that finds a wife finds a good thing and obtain favour from God. It means women are good things.

Now it is left for a man, to enjoy that good thing, by the way he treats his wife.

A man that Maltreats his wife, will end up miserable and that is not the wife's fault, it is the fault of the man, for not treating the wife well.

A man that wants to prosper in life, must learn to take care for his wife and children.

Please always complete your message, so that it will not lead to more problems in homes.

In one of your message you said a woman that can not give her husband 500 thousand naira and above is a colossal disgrace.

My question is, in Nigeria of today, how many women have such money? How will you call them colossal disgrace?

Please always complete your message, in other for people not to be misled.

Imagine a man not prospering, after listening to your message will start calling his wife a witch.

Because Pastor Funke said so.

The Executive Director of Women of Inestimable values foundation calls out pastor Funke Adejumo, on her message of a woman being a witch if her husband is not prospering.

The Senate Chief Whip, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu recently paid a condolence visit to Senator Victor Ndoma-egba at his Abuja residence over destruction and looting of his property by hoodlums, Igbere TV reports.

The house of the former Senate Majority Leader in Calabar, Cross River State was attacked by hoodlums as a fallout of the #EndSARS protest.

The Senator who was not in the country at the time of the incident said in a statement that the sponsored hoodlums broke into his house and looted it to the ground leaving only the bare floor

According to him , “All the toilets, baths, pumps and indeed every imaginable fitting were removed as were items of furniture, clothing, a huge collection of mainly rare, out of print books, documents and historic photographs.

“They also removed all the windows, railings, family pictures and burglary proofs. Even my private chapel was not spared.

“They set the cars ablaze and parts of the building after more than four hours of interrupted operations in my house. It was methodical. Among the intruders were obviously electricians, plumbers, carpenters, motor mechanics, panel beaters and other tradesmen,” he said.

Comedian and actor MC Lively has lost his older brother Emmanuel Sani.

In an Instagram post on Monday, MC Lively said the family received the news of Sani’s passage on October 30, Igbere TV reports.

True as it may be, it is difficult to believe!!

My Big brother Sani Emmanuel has passed on.

He was more than a gem...a year older than me but right from when we were kids, we were inseparable...people even thought we were twins!! He protected me, he shielded me, he supported me.

On Friday 30th of October, we received the most devastating news ever and it has been the most difficult time for my family.

Showki was a great man...loved by many, revered by all, he made an impact everywhere he went, a thoroughly humble guy, he was always happy and wanted everyone around him to be same, that infectious smile has been lingering in my head for days as I am sure it would continue to linger for a long long time.

Nothing can prepare one for a loss, how much more a brother but we take consolation in the fact that he lived a great life, he lived a happy life and fulfilled life!!
I know he is resting now with the Heavenly Father!!!
-
We will all miss you Showki, you have touched our lives in ways we didn’t even think possible, achieved things we didn’t think possible and we will not forget your legacy!!!

Rest on BROTHER❤️

Family3 Graves To Bury One Man: How My Late Father's Kinsmen Hijacked Burial — Lady by Abdulazeez99(op): 6:35am On Oct 24, 2020
A Nigerian lady has taken to Twitter to narrate the bitter events surrounding the burial of her father,Igbere TV reports.

@ijayy_ who revealed that three graves were dug just to bury her father, stated that it was because his kinsmen hijacked his corpse.

The lady further disclosed that her father's kinsmen refused burying him in his land because it is a ''virgin'' land.

Igbere TV reports that the Twitter user who noted that everything one sees in Igbo movies are true and in fact worse, advised women to always study the culture of Igbo men they want to marry.

She tweeted; “Well it’s supposed to be my dad’s burial today. But his own brothers and kinsmen just hijacked his corpse:

“It’s literally the third grave that has been dug. Just to bury one man.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=enBblnyYzKg

“For two months I haven’t been able to talk about my dad’s death or grieve because I’ve been busy fighting or quarreling or going for village meetings because of little things that should not matter. Because girls like me should not have opinions about things like this.

“For two months I haven’t been able to talk about my dad’s death or grieve because I’ve been busy fighting or quarreling or going for village meetings because of little things that should not matter. Because girls like me should not have opinions about things like this.

“Because why would someone with a vagina hold the mortuary tally. Because after my dad’s brothers abandoned his corpse and left it lying there in my living room I took him to the mortuary. Because his wife and children should not have a say when it comes to burial plans or where.

“He is to be buried. After my recent experiences, I almost wish I wasn’t a woman. Because now my mum, my siblings and my late dad are suffering because of it. Previously, people have asked me why I hate Igbo culture and people, this is why, people who constantly make you feel..

“I don’t have words anymore.. Igbo tradition is sick. Being from the same bloodline does not make you family. And all you see in Igbo movies are true, in fact it’s worse actually. I take solace in the fact that that’s not really my dad, just his earthly home/host.

“Imagine refusing to bury my father on his own piece of land. Because it’s a virgin land, against his wishes, against his wife & children’s wishes. Imagine the effrontery! Telling people how to use their own property. Hijacking a man’s burial to preserve land that’s not yours

“Hopefully the end of this thread. In 2020. I’m actually fine, I promise.

“The heart of man is truly wicked, who can know it? Worst part of all of this is they fooled me. They apologized and they begged my mum in the presence of the DPO and Rev. Father and we foolishly forgave them. I let them fool me into releasing the corpse.

“They just used me for the parts they could not do. Pretended, made me believe they actually wanted a “peaceful burial” Convinced me to drop legal action, to come back home, to carry his picture around the village and to go ahead with the burial in spite of the police situation.

“I feel a fool. Before you marry Igbo men, learn about their cultures, once you marry traditionally you cannot escape them. If you have daughters,I honestly don’t know what to tell you, because lawyers or the police can’t really save them. You have to, make sure you save them

“My dad never believed his family hated us, he always tried to unite us. But we always felt the hate, out of 7 sons he was the only one with biological children, 2 girls & a boy. It did not sit right with them and all our lives we’ve had to deal with the utter dislike.

“I really hope there’s a God, and he’s listening.”

He stated this in a release on Wednesday.

“I condemn in the strongest possible terms, attacks launched by the Nigerian military on unarmed young people, who have been peacefully protesting police brutality over the last 12 days as #EndSARS protests,” Adeboye said.

“The condemnable actions of the military risks driving the agitations of the young people underground, thereby making the situation unmanageable.

“I call on the Federal Government to thoroughly investigate the tragic events at Lekki and other parts of the country, give justice to all victims even as it engages the #EndSARS protesters to reach a common agreement to end police brutality.”

Mr Hamzat said on Friday that the reports were false, calling for caution among social media users.

“Fake news to cause panic during this period needs to be avoided at all costs. There have been reports of illegal arrests across Lagos that have turned out to be lies,” he tweeted.

“The @rrslagos767 team took action to verify these reports and we have not found any one that was true.

“If you have any verified claim of unlawful arrests last night in Lagos, please share with me and the state team will get involved to resolve. Let’s protect each other by not spreading fake news. Thank you.”

According to him, it is either Nigeria is "restructured or we break up."

'l“I believe that we might want to look at the problems of Nigeria in a slightly different manner. Some people feel that all our problems will be over if Nigeria should break up. I think that is trying to solve the problems of Nigeria as if it is a Simple Equation. The problems of Nigeria will require quite a bit of Simultaneous Equation and some of them are not going to be Linear either – forgive me I am talking as a Mathematician.

“Why can’t we have a system of government that will create what I will call the United States of Nigeria? Let me explain. We all know that we must restructure. It is either we restructure or we break, you don’t have to be a prophet to know that one. That is certain – restructure or we break up.

“Now, we don’t want to break up, God forbid.

“Without any doubt, we must restructure and do it as soon as possible. A United States of Nigeria is likely to survive than our present structure, this will help across every strata from the police force, military, customs, civil service as a whole. Without any doubt the present system has just made things difficult for Nigerians young and old and I’m glad to see the new era that we are entering. As we continue to pray and take actions, Let somebody shout hallelujah!
