Bible says, the soul that sinneth, it shall die. So, what God did was out of love nt cruelty at all. To go back on his standard of justice to Satan, man or angels he won't do that. He simply brought in a game changer- JESUS. Jesus was not murdered by God. Jesus choose to die for us just the way Muslims die for Allah by suicide, its voluntary.
