Crime / Re: 'Port Harcourt Is Not Safe': Man Who Saved A Girl From Rape Attacked (Graphic) by abdulkayus(m): 7:36pm On Dec 20, 2018
Na wa oooo, and yet some people will open their mouth to be abusing and cursing the North up and down. I have said it and keep on saying it, North is far more secure than many states and cities in the south. Apart from boko haram issue in the extreme part of borno state, most state in the North are super safe.
Imagine on this thread, people saying that once it is 6pm, everyone should be home and not got out. Lol. Hahaha hahaha hahaha haha, when in kano here, 6pm is still like afternoon where everyone is moving around freely and some business moving on. Sometimes I do go home around 10 or 11pm without any fear of anything.
Last week, had a friend that travel to neighbouring Zaria around 9pm for pepper business and come back around 2am,without any hitches or fear of anything.
Omo, we dey e joy for this north oooo.

SMH with all the statements I am reading here. So criminality, violence, fraud, cheating and making a place to be unwelcoming is now your definition of ruggedity? This is something to be proud of. There is nothing compare to living in a peaceful environment devoid of all this so called ruggedity, where someone can raise a family in peace without corruption.
This is a dent on Nigeria image, Seun, u need to close this thread.

A bloody one. But the society in d South strongly rejects such shameful practices compared to some others

But a lot of people are still sleeping with those underage girls down south. Even many people on this NL abusing and cursing North and their religion in that thread has slept with girls less than 18 years. More than 70% of girls down south has been deflowered before the age of 18,some as early as 12,13,14,15.
We lived in such a hypocritical society that we left the speck in our eyes and remove the log in another person's eye.

Its the norm in the North, rear in the South

It is "rare" not "rear". And who told u that it is rare in South?
Most girls in the South before the age of 16 or 18 are already sexually active, has aborted pregnancies and some are already mother. At least it would have been better if they are legally married than to be having sex up and down, aborting pregnancies thereby endangering their lives.

I've read the whole koran. It's a very small book compared to the Bible. The koran has only 6,666 verses compared to the Bible which has nearly 40,000 verses. I've also read most of the hadiths. So I'm not ignorant about Islam. I speak from a position of an informed person. And what I know about islam is very disgusting.

No wonder whemmytopsy see you as ignorant and defiant of the truth. U are swimming in the pool of ignorance. Don't let ur hatred and bigotry becloud ur sense of reasoning.
FYI, the total number of verses in the Holy Qur'an is 6236 and not that lie(6666) that u are peddling around.

My argument was that all Muslim countries are violence prone except a few Moderate Muslim ones. Apart from the fact that almost all the countries you listed are suffering terrorism by fundamental (jihad) Muslims, the few exceptions are moderate Muslim nations, ie Turkey, Kuwait. Oman and Brunei.

Are you still asleep or drunk to say there are no terrorists in Indonesia, Malaysia, Jordan, Morocco, Tunisia, Mauritania, etc. These countries have suffered the worst of the terrorist attacks of recent memory. Have you forgotten the Bali Bombings?

Please use google to cure your ignorance.

And have you also forget that every country has its own peculiar problem. There are more deaths in US than in some Muslim countries that you despise much. Or is it terrorism killing that u consider as killings?
Have u forgotten about thugs killing in southern Nigeria, drugs killing in South America, shoot out almost every month in US? Mr man, no country is a Saint. And a lot of Muslim countries are peace living countries apart from few that are suffering from crisis.
Purge yourself of hypocrisy and hatred so that you can see clearly

why should Muslims demand for a mosque inside a school? Is the school an Islamic learning centre? if Muslims demand for mosques inside secondary schools, christians should also demand for Church inside all government schools, so also shrines for Ifa worshipers, Amadioha worshipers and others.

The Irony is that in the 80's i attended a federal government school in Sokoto, and non of theses issues ever came up. There were no churches, Mosques or shrines in the school. Every went to worship outside the school. All the churches then was on Ahmadu Bello Way, which was at the centre of town. There was so much religious harmony in the school then.

Muslims promote far more violence than any other religion, in fact i can say no and i mean no Muslim dominated country is without violence, with the exception of a few moderate Islamic states like U.A.E, Qatar and Bahrain.

Malaysia, Indonesia, Senegal, Gambia, Maldives, Comoros, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Morocco, Tunisia, Mauritania, Mauritius, Algeria, Iran, Kazakhstan, Niger, Mali, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Djibouti, Oman, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Kuwait, Brunei are all Muslims majority countries, and some are even prosperous country that a lot of people like to go to for better life.
U guys should purge yourself of hatred and bigotry.

THEN YOUR STATEMENT IMPLIES THAT THE HIJAB IS NOT A COMPULSORY WEAR! sometimes i wonder if the religion of Islam causes bipolar disorder.

It is compulsory on every matured female Muslims to wear the hijab. Hijabs differ from country to country and region to region. The kind of hijab worn by the Turkey is different from Saudi. Saudis own are different from the Afghans. Evening covering the head by putting on veil is a form of hijab. Hijab is like a concealment, not showing the shape of the body. It is not just about covering the hair. Those ones who put on some kinda short hijab and put on tight trousers has defeated the doctrine of hijab.
You guys need to learn things about others before jumping into conclusion. And I think u are the one suffering from bipolar disorder

They ain't the platform to gauge the Muslims. Most of these rich children are mostly secular in nature. And they are abound in both religion. So stop saying hijab is for the poor, it is very very wrong. A lot of rich and well educated children and also wear hijab all over the world and u can't denied that.
That phrase that hijab is for the poor is stale and thrash.

When you're asking federal govt and national assembly to intervene on hijab issues, when will we ever develop if we keep concentrating on irrelevant issues?

Do you know that chicks in Northern Nigeria still fvck with hijab? A babe will wear full regalia and come visit you with no pants. Quick service and she goes off looking innocent. The prostitutes wear hijab too. The latest trend now is to sew very tight clothes and use see-through hijabs. Infact you can see the shape of everything.

In the Arab countries, chicks do belly dances with hijabs on. They open small to tease you and close it back

There's nothing wrong with covering. Nuns cover too. But it does not ensure and guarantee decency. It is the heart that determines human decency.

Nude tribes still exist. They have one wife and don't sleep with each other's wives or steal from each other. And all the women's breasts are outside.

Religion is perfect but the practitioners are not perfect. A lot of people have committed atrocities under the umbrella of religion. So u don't have much points. They said they want to wear hijab which is their fundamental rights. Why denied them? They ain't forcing anybody. We should be tolerant with each other. Be open minded.

C'est fini!

Go and build your own school and build it over decades to the same standard. The reason it is of international level is because it is secular. Once politics and religion comes in the standard drops.

Missionary schools had the best standards in the country and produced people like Lamido Sanusi Lamido. But this same mindset made them collect the schools through government in power and turned them all to s*hit today. Nope, not happening again. Thank God all the top schools are church related and incorporated: Babcock, Covenant, Bowen, Landmark etc not like the open hearted mission schools they took advantage of.

Even top ones owned by Muslims like AUN insist on strict secularity to avoid all the bulls*hit.

FYI, AUN was not build based on Islamic principle but secularity despite being owned by a Muslim. There are many others like that owned by both Muslims and Christians but are secular based. Religious based universities are like Covenant, Alhikma, Babcock, Alkalam in Katsina, Redeem university, Fountain, Bingham in Nasarawa, Crescent University and many others. So u can't compare.
