I like this and wouldn't even mind leaving the concrete finish and just applying sealer if done right.

If money wasn't an object I would have used a concrete pour for the entire building from foundation.
i really like your taste size. i love those simple finishes too

this is nice.
the plastering is quite dark.
what is the mix ratio?
do u know how many tons of sand makes one wheel barrow?
1:1:4 one part of cement to one part sharp sand to four part of plaster sand.

One wheel barrow is equivalent to 4 head pan and one head pan have a weight of about 25kg , remember one tonne is equivalent to 1000kg.

Check out for 4 x 4/12.... The first 4 means 4 nr of bars , the second the second 4 means 4 which is the length of the bar

@karleone, what is the difference between raft foundation and strip. I am not an expert in this field, so assume zero knowledge.
raft foundation is a form of mat foundation in the same categories as 1.isolated pad footing, 2.combined pad footing, 3.continues pad footing and 4.cantilever pad footing.

the raft foundation is normally used when the soil strata on which the building is resting on is relatively poor (low bearing capacity, settlement rate, etc).
This foundation is spread through out the entire foundation to form the simplest form of raft foundation.
there are different type raft foundation
1. flat slab raft foundation: this is an inverted type of flat slab
2.downward beam raft foundation: this is the type where the beam is facing down while the slab is on top of the raft beam.
3. upward beam raft beam, this is a type of raft foundation where the beam is facing up and the slab is down.

one of the major advantage of raft foundation over other forms of shallow foundation is ability to distribute load over a large area of soil and uniform settlement rate.

It should also be noted that most of the raft constructed are not actually properly done because the following rules are not adequate followed.
1.raft beam and slab should be constructed monolithically
2. the raft is founded at reasonable depth below the ground level and that is why most raft foundation comes with a basement
3. the raft is done from the information gotten from a detailed soil investigation.

parapet wall is a wall built at the edge of the roof round to serve as wind breaker. It looks good on a building if properly done

Don't omit column at the corners my oga. It will do your building a lot of good

Thank you. I was trying not to have to chisel the brickwork but I don't see any way out of that for now.

What about the drain for the toilet bowl, how do you do that?

By the way I ran into one of your old builds (pictured) its share brilliance. A tip of my bowler hat to you.
Brilliant design. I love it

Cost - chose 1 (uses less materials)

beauty - chose 2 (This much is obvious)

Durability - Chose 2 (Run-offs is quicker than 1, due to angle of slope, Less likely to rust as it does not retain water or other contaminants easily, compared to 1;Less likely to be "blown-off by wind" (for same type of tie-down) compared to 1 )

So, depending on what is most important to you, you can make your own decision

Lastpage!
Option one is definitely cheaper.

Option one can also be more beautiful or esthetically pleasing than option two depending on how you finished the building and since beauty is subjective.

Option one is more durable and will not lick easily because of lack of excessive Valley. Roof lick easily at the valley, since long span roofing sheet is used for option one the dilemma of joint along purlin is eliminated.

Option one can also have better resistance to uplifting wind or any lateral lad acting on the roof through the introduction of parapet wall (don't confuse with concrete fascia).
