These guys didn't get a four year term to have committees with GEJ hanging on their lips and nothing more. The pessimism in today's government is drowning investors courage in a pool of uncertainty, the political state of instability is neither helping us as a nation. PMB should sit up, he now wails more than the bereaved. He hasn't been in any fuel queue of recent, his family members don't die of bomb attacks, he hasn't got businesses that are shut down on daily basis for one protest or the other, he doesn't also know that sending money to fund children's school fees have been hit badly by devaluation and critical inflation. If it takes 6 months or more to complain of the errant and ousted government it might take a tenure to resolve on what policy direction must be plied to ensure appropriate restructuring. |
I have always maintained a neutral stand about this, if Biafra is so unpleasant to the rest of Nigeria, please in the interest of the so-claimed majority who stand anti-Brafia, grant them their desires and prepare your armies only if they ask for more territories than what is rightly apportioned unto them. What is Nigeria so afraid to loose? A party to a marriage whom has approached the courts for a divorce must not be urged on to "suffer" continually as they claim. The Northern agenda seems to be fully on course, the Easterners do not want to labour for this agenda and have chosen to be determined as a sovereign state, are they asking for so much? We all are heads deep in the protection of the Nigerian sovereignty with a people who are rather in discomfort, same sovereignty that has been threatened in the past by ceding the Bakassi peninsular to Cameroon, Nigeria can't effectively lay claims on a fraction of the North East region thanks to Boko Haram and a lot more. I believe Nigeria can not fight this war, they can't even pay salaries. I am only concerned about the lives that has been lost and those that will be lost in times to come on both fronts. Ask yourselves, what has Nigeria got to loose?? |
Lies... it comes with the name! |
Brains.. it helps her use the other bodily features optimally |
Adminisher:I equally see that point. |
generalcontact:Igbo presidency is a trap!!! I repeat it's a trap!!! I am not pro-Biafran today solely because our own people were not prepared for this move. South Eastern/Southern governors squandered our people's monies rather than improve upon our educational, health and industrial sectors. I wonder who is to assume governance when Biafra succeeds and what the trend will become. Secession will come with the pulling down of existing institutions (policies & social infrastructure) in order to create a befitting one and this would take a long time to achieve but if we were ready we would have obviously made a smooth transit through strong dialogue. Left with Igbo presidency and Biafra as an option come 2019, I would choose Biafra over that trap. People are looking forward to condemn the Igbo ethnicity forever, just the same way they condemned the Ebele administration. Thanks for nominating us but I must ask to be left alone with some integrity to pass on to the coming generation. |
opeaceo:I would take a "B" and the knowledge with me... gaskia |
opeaceo:My dear you should see the joy a lecturer has within him that students passed his course. My mother a retired secondary school principal, always had a bad day when we plotted statistics on the computer to etermine the gaussian distribution of the exams she just marked (her subject), especially when the modal scores where below par mumcy shed tears. What am I saying? Lecturers give you the concept but teachers teach you all you need, a lecturer expects you to do additional research on his course work to buttress his concepts. Life is dynamic and so are the challenges of the real world, we often come to troubled ends if we solely rely only on what is said in class. Doing the extra work sets you apart. |
Eddygourdo:I agree with you but i wouldnt not call them fools in a haste except they were here to speak for themsleves. Students today rely so much on what has been said in class, most dont even do any reading on their own whatsoever to understand the concepts, i need somebody from that department to tell me bo one got a "B". In the professional cadre, precision saves time and money and uf he marks you down for errors you should thank him because some real life situations do not offer you a second chance. Look on to the positive side of things, I was of your opinion several years back till i sat and objectively evaluated the scenario l. From the POV of these lecturers it is more fufilling for a student to understand his course and pass it effectively, this in turn means he hasnt wasted one semester trying to learn you all. How many times have you been able to consult same lecturer with a reasonable math problem and he turned you down? Then you can make a case. Our generation needs to sit up. We dont need to pass exams alone, we actually need to rake control off the hands of expatriates and amend the views of employers which hold true that most Nigerian graduates are unemployable. Nna jisike o.. guo akwukwo. Chineke noyere gi |
Lol I see an orgasmic face no ni. Those virgins are not taking it easy on these guys on arrival. RIP to the innocent lives claimed along this psychopath |
Chisos! Oh...... but some men could be nauseating. I want to believe this ends as fiction or does not surface to reality. My candid advice: don't die for what you know nothing about either by abortion or by confrontations with the concerned woman or your lost man. It's difficult but move ahead. |
adren:1. Check the modified post. 2. Scholarships are online so you can read up the requirements yourself 3. Italy is not the place for you with all you mentioned except you have chosen to study. Your dear uncle is not telling you the truth. 4. I would rather start a hair cut saloon in naija, give it class with that amount I should have used for a two way ticket 5. Remember what works for Tom may not work harry and may work even better for John. You decide |
I must advise any Nigerian youth who thinks the world out here is painted in riches to understand that every country is riddled with its unique challenge. Unemployment is also an European problem, infact is a global issue with each state hosting a percentage of this scourge. I only have a problem with the "life changing" clause as you have employed in your write up above. There is no such thing as "make it big" here. People who board planes to go do menial jobs should actually consider net benefits before embarking on such trips except of course you have conclusively chosen to indulge in illegal activities. I bet you don't know how many nigerians are rotting in Italian jails and how many more are roaming the streets. Lets come to fact with this, if you however choose to study, then there are likely chances of doing same at no damning cost. There are a host of scholarships that are available with accommodation inclusive, these could be coupled with part time jobs too if you so desire but trust me you must be able to break through the language barrier to work. Furthermore, there are cases you may need to show rigorous commitment to the academic course in order to fully benefit from these kinds of scholarships. In a nutshell, prepare to study even harder this time. You can get a masters here and less probably a job but you may not be getting as big as the picture you paint. |
MadCow1:This evaluation should be done on equal job designations and levels, this you have duly pointed out. I can say for sure that in terms of renumeration the daily rates of some contract staffs in certain organisations couldn't surpass same of their equally yoked permanent staff but here is the trick... 1. Health benefits 2. Crazy bonuses/allowances pegged on production benchmarks or something else worth renumeration 3. Training facilities in terms of frequency 4. International mobility and most importantly 5. PROMOTION (why have you all failed to acknowledge this?) These and more make the permanent staff position unique. Someone else should kindly discuss "Start off grants".. |
EternalTruths:She gets to live the next day but it's unlikely her weapons would let you live when they are being put to effective use |
Bootybuttchic:And you too my dear flaunt a degree certificate? I doubt. You should be stripped off everything up until your FSLC! Rather than make a single point at least you let loose like a rabid dog. Your alias says it all. Do you need to know that investors need a peaceful atmosphere to operate? Is the IPOB threat coupled with North eastern mayhem noT sufficient to scare off any foreign attraction? The man should seat and get his house in order. |
Meanwhile somewhere around the world Marilynn Hewson, CEO of Lockheed Martins, a globally renowned arms manufacturer is expecting increasing profits in the Asia Pacific, Middle East and now West Africa by 2016... The world we live in... Yet these tribal bigots everywhere in naija are here giving her positive signs of revenues en masse come 2016... Una well done o... |
Same as saying I need evidence that you are still sane... can you relate |
BecaciaBarbie:Pick up a presidential nomination form next time "clueful" one. I hate to see beauty lacking brains |
superstar1:ODe! money just changed pockets... You would soon come asking me for facts. "Kwworruption" being fought my foot! This just a tip of the icey wait till the second year pulls through then you can come tell me more about your "clueful" war "monging" HOS. |
Tundenoni:Idiot how old are you? cant you pick up a presidential ticket and run as well? is it a taboo for if you or a member of your immediate family becomes the president of the federal republic of Nigeria? What have you been able to lead thus far let alone leading 167 million people. All you know is come up on nairaland to celebrate free data or hotspot access. Iranu! |
dadicvila:Syrian terrorists are not airborne but their cloaked sponsors are. |
You better be prepared to seize my mouth and do it now o..... |
lionness:Did you read at all? |
Hehe. Russia steps in and Jihadi John dies, the US will never cease to deal complexities. I think someone is sealing his butts |
maskamdo:Your opinion is highly misinformed. Tell yourself the truth, there is sufficient oil in the Sands of Biafra but I doubt if this will be the nerve centre of its economic growth. I even hope they don't think in that direction. These guys are commerce goons, forget not. |
pedrilo:I think you needed someone to quote you, I just did. Receive sense IJN and receive it real fast |
Champs you mean, the Igbos are goal-oriented (however you perceive that), but I am knowledgeable enough to say every other person or tribe in Nigeria is equally gifted. Today lets shun sentiments and public outcry on who is being marginalized or not and think about our achievements as a Nation, you and I. Perhaps you can also see the other dimensions in which we can explore to ensure we even live better off as citizens of a great nation. They wont let us be, they have exploited our weak links being tribal differences, religious differences etc for the sole purpose of making their economies richer while we spend time, and our fortunes to spite ourselves. If you realize the gains of certain members of the international community in that a country as blessed as us has got bullet holes borne of hatred riddled against it, rivalry and greed amongst its great people and yet they succeed to lace certain individuals pockets to deepen our social divide. I mean can we all sit and have a rethink? |

can you relate
