I don't think this is entirely true. I travelled last year aboard BA and someone in the UK booked and paid for the ticket, i just sent the naira equivalent to him and i had no issue. But again, this might be a new rule! wengerly: Good people,
I booked a flight for someone in naija and paid with my credit card, and BA has a clause on their website that if the payer is not among the travelling party then the credit card should be produced at the booking office before the traveller can be allowed to fly. How do I resolve this? Do I have to write a letter to BA or do I scan my Credit card and send to the traveller?
Anyone encountered such before?
Thanks in advance |

The journey so far..... I asked a while ago if it was possible to send mine and husband's transcripts together, and I got different advice here. So i mailed CES,In order to be certain, and i got this response after 1 month: Dear...........,
Thank you for contacting the School of Continuing Studies Service Desk. You can find the response to your request, CES EVALUATION, and the full history below.

Good morning,
We apologize for the delay in writing back as we have been in a high-volume period.
If it is possible to do so, then yes you can request that the university send your documents along with your husband's; it would be easy for us to track if they come in the same package rather than separately.I have been on transcript wahala since February but OAU PG school won't let me be great, so my transcripts finally got delivered today; come and see how i have been doing my happy dance since - I'm wondering what will happen when i pass my IELTS or even when PPR shows. But hey! Let's celebrate little victories too. IELTS, please be nice! Thank you Johnnybravo, Ifeoma77, Ramj et al for answering my questions. |

Hello house, How are you doing today? Congratulations to all PPR & ITA clinchers, IELTS smashers and ECA holders (there's no small victory).... Please, concerning ECA with CES, i chose an option of delivery via mail to an address in Canada, which ofcourse, can't be tracked. My question now is that will i at any point of this application need to submit the copy that CES will be sending to me? I understand they will forward a soft copy to me which i can use to enter the pool. I need clarifications please; before i shoot myself in the leg |

Good day my people, Please i need some clarifications on Transcripts palava.. I'm requesting for my hubby's MSc and my own BSc transcripts to be sent to CES, i want to confirm if its possible to send both documents in the same envelope so as to cut some costs. I've registered both of us with CES and we have our different identification numbers, I'm thinking this should not be a problem since our ID nos will be written on our cover letters. What do you think? Thank you guys. |
Travel › Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program- Connect Here Part 6 by Abiodunnn(f): 2:04pm On Feb 06, 2019 |
Thank you for the detailed post Johnnybravo. Please what is the full meaning of CES? Is it Comparative Education services or Canada Evaluation Services? I'm so confused. johnnybravo1990: Yea.
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/documents/education-assessed/how.html#designated
Go to the above link, and you will see the 5 designated bodies. CES is the first one. Click it, then click 'ECA for immigration purposes'. Then click 'apply now'. It then goes to a page which shows you the cost (210 Canadian dollars.) However, along the line, there is additional 90 dollars or so for international posting of the ECA report to you; the only option if you do not want to pay the 90 dollars is if you will pick the report in their office in Toronto. Clicking 'apply now' again takes you to a page where it asks you to log in, or to register if you are new user. Feel free to register(you will not be penalised for registering even if you won't use CES for your ECA eventually, but please, don't forget your username and password). The particular page where it prompts you to enter you username and password, it will do you good to bookmark the page for convenience of subsequent log-ins. After registering and logging in, in the further pages you open, you will see questions regarding your personal and educational history. So fill the pages as you go on, if you choose to use CES for your ECA.
But I will summarise what you need, though I may skip some points unintentionally. The only hardcopy document you need to send to CES is your transcript from your school(I called them personally on phone to confirm this). Every other document is soft copy and should be uploaded in your online application. Such documents include data page of international passport, your academic transcript and your degree certificate. Each of the soft copy documents should be coloured, in pdf format, and all pages of each document should be captured, even if it is a blank page. For your hard copy transcript, when posting, include the 'student number' in the address. The student number is usually generated for you when you register in the CES site and it normally begins with 'X'.
Somewhere in the CES website, it tells you processing time is 12 weeks after all documents have been received. I cannot independently confirm this because I am just 10 weeks post-transcript-delivery. One downside of using CES is that your profile/online portal is not updated many weeks after your transcript reaches them(mine was updated 9 weeks and 2 days after delivery of my transcript to them). So ensure you track your transcript as it is being delivered; that will help you know your transcript has gotten to them.
To my understanding, there is no WAEC verification issue with CES. Whether CES verifies your transcript with your school is not made known. Should there be any issue with your application, CES will contact you; so I was told in their reply to one of my emails I sent to them. |

Also, among the documents required from the client is coloured copy of transcripts.shouldnt the one sent by the school directly to them suffice? |

Good day all, I apologise if this question has been asked previously but i haven't personally come across it.
Going through this thread, i observe majority that have gotten CoPR have MSc,MBAs etc; how feasible is it for one in her late twenties with ONLY BSc, 3+ work experience, married get a CRS above 440 because randomly trying with the CRS tool gives me about 430-ish all the time. I would like to know before i start to invest timeand money.
Thank you so much. |

Hello all, Please guys don't do business with this fraudster named FLEETDRIVE. Here are my reasons: 1. He "helped" us buy a Nigerian used Honda city for 810k and did some "repairs" for another 100k. He had sent the picture of the car earlier but we weren't ready then. When we were ready, he resent the same picture with a higher price and lied it wasn't the same car...unknown to him that we kept the pictures 2. This car was with him for close to 2 months before he got a driver and therefore it was just "parked" in his yard 3. When he finally got a driver, he started saying its 30k he agreed to pay after promising 32,500. We let that slide too. He NEVER even paid the 30k in full for once, it was always one story or the other. We got paid for just 3 weeks for a car bought since June 4. This guy changed the tyres of this car (on our cost o) and when we called him that we were coming to get the car from him, he REMOVED all the tyres and REPLACED with BAD TYRES. The whole car looked like scrap sef when we got it back from him 5. We gave the car to a dealer to help us sell and almost all the parts of this car is bad from the gear box to the engine and he told us the car isnt worth more than 450k, that's how much people are willing to pay for the crap he sold to us. 6. Ever since we collected the car, all efforts to reach him were futile. He never replied our messages nor took our calls. 7. His overall customer service is bad. His office is ar Iwaya, i agree i fell for a scam, i don't want anybody to fall for this same scam called FLEETDRIVE LIMITED. Thank you. You can PM me for proof to this my story. Ask for well-baby package for self-pay patients. Its usually about 50%....you should be paying $729 Eclectica: My People,
For anyone who had a VG delivery at HNWMC recently, how much did you pay Pediatrix for the pediatrician service? These dudes are quoting $1456. The lady I spoke to said they can give me a discount and I will then pay $1009.
How una take pay $675? Did you speak to anybody in particular?
