DSSC takes 10 per state depending on the slot given to your region and SSC is 12-13 slots per state

The exam won’t be useless bro... a lot of people would be selected because of how they wrote the exam.. even previous enlistments I met a lot of guys at the screening that didn’t know anybody and they are officers now.. I know people from here that were heartbroken for navy today.. some with even some connections sef.. they didn’t see their name meanwhile my friend that casually applied and didn’t even bother checking the list since morning.. she just got a text from navy informing her that she was shortlisted for the test just now sef.. so connections Dey.. merit Dey

I can assure you that exams don't count. There are people that will not even sat for the exams but their names will come out. I don't disagree with those that believe doing well in exams will guarantee you a slot but rather this recruitment is purely connect

Stupidity is seen all over you. It is not a peaceful protest if I was to be in those soldiers shoes the story will be different by now MUMU[quote aauthor=Judah95 post=95572002]

You should be ashamed of yourself for calling comments by some Nairalanders "stupid". You are here hyping the "integrity" of the Army? Are you aware the Army denied being at the Lekki protest ground not to talk of shooting at all? Yet, they succumbed and had to tell the truth after local and international pressure. You are here talking about integrity of the Army.

Guy, I am a patriot and so are many Nairalanders but we are realists and we state the obvious.

Not even UN Army will operate without the collaboration of the host country. For those making stupid comments on the integrity of our Army they should go to the and join their military

I used the word 'controversial' because we're yet to ascertain the the identity of the organization that advertise the recruitment. I am 70% sure of this ongoing exercise

There's nothing controversial about the NCDMB recruitment that's ongoing.

Sure, you and a few of your co-travellers are second guessing or even outrightly disbelieving the authenticity of the recruitment process. Don't mistake most of us here to be in that trail.

I happen to be an alumnus of FUTO. They advertised for vacancies in some departments in January, 2020 and completed the exercise after a few months.

They issued out the disclaimer that is making rounds now since June, 2020 after the completed recruitment exercise and the previous advertised vacancies were being shared in various social media platforms.

FUTO just advertised new vacancies for select departments that were not part of the January, 2020 exercise.

https://futo.edu.ng/academic-and-academic-support-staff-vacancies-at-futo/

Anyone that has the aptitude to read between the lines would understand that the crux of NCDMB disclaimer wasn't on the authenticity of an ongoing recruitment but a refutal on the one requesting for 1Million Naira for a slot and the other stating that recommendation letter from Public Office holder is an added advantage.

Meanwhile, I might have a beneficial update later today. My contact in their HR just arrived their Abuja office. Thanks and have a great day to you all.
