Kazikazi: Am showing him how advanced we are.For us,having a technology is far better than buying a second hand light helicopter from China.
Tanzania's defense forces advancements.. He wasn’t talking about helicopters either and no African country can manufacture helicopters certainly not Tanzania added to that he was talking about which country has more aircrafts for their airlines nit which countries can manufacture them. |

PROUDIGBO: I must have missed where it was stated or said this would be the largest airport in Nigeria. Who said it? If you go through this thread plenty of people said it will be the most modern airport in Nigeria or the third largest, which is what I said I doubt it will be the third largest Abuja, Lagos, port harcourt and kano will all be larger it also won’t be the most modern airport in Nigeria and that is a fact. |
Politics › Re: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by Abohboy: 1:16pm On Jan 02, 2021 |
Are you sure that this will be the third largest airport in Nigeria, unless they’re planning on building more terminals, because this current terminal is smaller then those in Lagos, Abuja, port harcourt and kano. Also on top of that the akwa ibom terminal looks larger than this one, you guys are hyping up the airport too much, it is a good development but your claiming it to be a lot more than it actually will be. |

You built a dam for 200 megawatts in the dry season when that dam before could generate 500 megawatts in the same. 30 years ago. samdunzo: I still think we can work w/ Ethiopia & Eritrea. They do have an important history in the continent, and Addis Adaba is still widely regarded as the political capital of Africa. All Ethiopia needs to unlock its potential is access to the sea, which Eritrea has. You can convince the Eritreans that reunification as a federation will allow them to reap the dividends of democracy, and also attract investment to the country, since the ports will be busy Eritrea is a dictatorship and the leader clearly doesn’t want anything to do with Ethiopia unless they become a democracy and choose a new leader I don’t see Ethiopia getting access to the sea without him dying or being taken out first. |

Kazikazi: There were reports which talked about SA.Many opinions and words were written about SA chances of being a superpower, but years later, everything now is proving the opposite. The reason why they talked too much about SA was due to SA biggest GDP at the time. Its no wonder they talk about naija due to GDP of today. That is a stupid way of making predictions basing on just one or two factors( population + current GDP numbers). To see TZ chances, someone need to have more insights than folks who can't see beyond paper written GDP Not only gdp and population, also iron reserves, gold reserves, oil and gas reserves, amount of water, arable land, professors and also look at how many educated and successful Nigerians there are in the diaspora which will make up or a strong middle - upper class. So no it’s not just two factors there are multiple factors as to why Nigeria will be black Africa’s first superpower. |

SUFFERInSMILIIN: Empty vessel illiterate do you know during the crisis is kanji Dam only generates 200 megawatts of electricity. It is cold climate change and you need to change the wind turbines. Just look at Egypt before even Ethiopia started constructing their damn Egypt have been complaining the water in the Nile River is not enough it is falling dramatically this will be another white elephant.. That is a natural occurrence during the dry season water drops during the rainy season water level increase what point are you trying to make o do you not understand english. |

Kazikazi: The story will never end. There were many reports which talked about SA.Then they talked about Angola. Then they are talking about Nigeria. Again there are reports taking about Ethiopia. We have others now are preaching about Egypt. These are all prophecies which are from men of flesh and blood. The reality is,its too difficult to predict what will happen in any African nation in the next 5 years. That's why all predictions about Angola or SA have proven to be false. The main issues facing African nations is homegrown troubles.Am talking about home grown terrorism, insecurity, homegrown corruption, tribalism and folks who seek to succession. Judging by those problems above,it will be hard very hard for naija and Ethiopia to reach a superpower status in our lifetime. No report has said anything about Angola, stop lying. Nigeria is the most likely country in black Africa to become a superpower, there is not a single report about Angola or Tanzania becoming a superpower in Africa. Stop beating around the bush Nigeria will become an international superpower first before any other African country, |

Just30: North African countries that will benefit are Morocco, Egypt (if it finally decides to trade with Africa), Algeria I doubt Morocco will get involved Morocco has been quite hostile towards Africa for a while I doubt they’ll be willing to properly implement it, they’ll likely not open up their borders. |

rvp2018: Very good. I see Kenya, Egypt and South Africa as the key beneficiaries of this; the rest of Africa countries need to build internal capacity. Nigeria is hobbled except Dangote will continue to underperform.
But first we need to complete the road infrastructure. https://www.concretetrends.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/fb77ce2ad248729f8adad5daff608262.jpg How will Nigeria not benefit from Afctfa is anyone is to benefit from it in west Africa it will be Nigeria and Ghana these will be the main beneficiaries by region Nigeria and Ghana, Kenya and Ethiopia, South Africa and Mozambique, North Africa I’m not really sure. But ultimately Nigeria accounts for a lot of manufacturing and industries in west Africa, and with the increasing agricultural produce and refining of all these produce the only thing that would stop us from benefiting is if they ban our produce. Our steel, aluminum, yams, cocoa, bananas, oranges, strawberries, tomatoes etc, will spread across Africa, if we could just get consist power. With the AFCTFA companies would want to come into Nigeria and Ghana, especially Nigeria because of its large population and influence they will be able to use it as an export hub. But our government failed to build effective transport corridors until that happens we can’t fully benefit but we will still get something out of it. |

Kazikazi: Did I say Tanzania has more influence than Nigeria? Did I say Tz is a superpower now? Don't put words in my mouth. What I said is Tanzania has a greater chance of being a superpower than anyone else. Yes Nigeria, DRC, SA,Ethiopians, all has a potential, but the problem of those nations is their internal affairs. There is a huge issues which need a big miracle to overcome. From home grown terrorists, to separatists groups, corruption, tribalism, etc. All these issues are bombs waiting to explode. The same stuff happened to Sudan,a huge chunk of the land succeed and formed south Sudan. It happened in Ethiopia with Eritrea. There are a lot of same issues are still working in naija.even as we speak, some Ethiopians are still working hard to form a new nation. For you,the only thing you look at is hydrocarbons and minerals! And what is funny is,you undermine TZ just because Tz don't export oil and gas! And may be you have no idea,TZ has oil and gas, waiting for extraction. So your story of small GDP don't hold water.Even your africas 3 big economies are exporting a lot of oil and gas or other minerals, which many folks in Africa can easily do the same including Somalia. So yes,in the next 20-30 years,TZ will be a superpower. In those years.. 1.Tanzania will be the biggest producer of electricity mainly coming from our huge reserves of coal, uraniums, etc
2.TZ will have Africa's biggest manufacturing sector. Thanks to our cheap labor, massive investments on electrified sgr across TZ and connected to neighboring nations.
3.Tanzania will have biggest tourism industry. Thanks to our superb tourist attractions and our peaceful environment.Mind you,Tz has more tourist attractions than any nation in Africa.
4.Tanzania will be home to Africa's medical tourism. Thanks to our huge investmants and governments seriousness on the matter. With lower operational costs, big investments on health sector, friendly folks, peaceful and beautiful environment,no African will think of going to India for specialized medical care.
5.Tanzania will have the biggest transport sector in the region. How!? Yes,we have many landlocked nations surrounding us,we will extend our electrified sgr up to Kinshasa DRC. That will make it a "new Suez canal"crossing from Atlantic to Indian ocean! You can guess how much money will be made by that! Many ships from the west will drop off their cargo in Kinshasa and two days later, another ship will pic it up from Dar es salaam Tanzania en route to middle East and far east Asia!
6.Our agriculture sector will be the biggest in Africa. We have the land,we have the will,we have the peaceful environment, we have the ports for easy exportation,we have the fastest and cheapest sgr to haul farm produce from inland areas to the coast much more efficient
7.Tanzania has almost all natural resources you know of. No need to elaborate on the obvious.
Let me stop for now Tanzania is not the most likely nation to become a superpower in Africa stop playing with yourself it is in this exact order of who will be the next African superpower Nigeria Ethiopia Tanzania There is no point arguing Nigeria has more resources, higher population, more industries, more professors, stop arguing these are facts fund me a report saying Tanzania is Africa’s next superpower it will be hard but for Nigeria it will be very quickly |
