Appisko:100 years that is a massive lie, Nigeria will become a superpower of Africa quite quickly Nigeria isn’t controlled by any external countries unlike all of it he countries that border it. Nigeria is independent because it has a large and strong military and as long as this happens, Nigeria will be a threat to France and the US in west Africa which is why insurgency is so rampant because their being bankrolled by the west. Nigeria has a large population, massive gold reserves, massive granite, quartz and marble reserves, massive oil and gas deposits, multiple crystals, gemstones and diamonds reserves in the eastern wing of the nation, abundant water supplies and lots of sunlight. Nigeria had everything it needs to be a powerful nation in the world and Africa at large, merging Africa into countries isn’t going to work at all The form of pan Africanism we need is the one proposed by kwame Nkrumah all of the states still have their sovereignty, their own constitution etc. But there is a pan Africanism military force, space force, educational system, healthcare system, currency etc, these are interested not the nations as a whole, that could never work with a continent as diverse as Africa. Nigeria is likely to become a superpower by 2050, with the acquisition of over 50 more drones in the next 5 years, 40 4th generation fighter jets from Pakistan, 12 4th generation fighter jets from America, 120 new modern VT-4 battle tanks from China, along with multiple new guns. The Nigerian military should be able to carry out constant and consistent bombing on boko haram and bandits across the north of Nigeria from late 2021 onwards, Boko Haram should be defeated by 2023. And this time we won’t stop at the border with Chad, what always happens is Nigeria runs Boko Haram into lake Chad, then they disappear into the islands or go into Chad, then they come back with money, weapons and men. This time Nigeria will continue the bombing into chad’s landmass and Chad should keep quiet because I’m urge they don’t want a repeat of 1983. |
What we’re enjoying in Nigeria, new Lagos train station keep in mind there’s a second building, all their doing now is the interior of the Lagos station and Nigeria is finally getting e card ticketing platform, you will be able to pay with a top up card, a physical ticket or with a bank card online , then you can scan the code to enter the train.

vankelvin:Your the one disputing the claim so you should do what you suggested gather up the information and just so you know these are estimates but what we do know is it’s over 60% for fact. |
vankelvin:The total GDP of west Africa is 618 billion dollars meanwhile Nigerians gdp is 448 billion dollars do the math although it isn’t exactly 65% it is definitely over 50% |
Kazikazi:USA has a population of 300 million the highest in the western world, population plays a very large factor in being a superpower whether you like it or not, |
vankelvin:Since it’s central Nigeria, South Africa and Kenya all share that region, Nigerian and Kenyan banks are having increasing influence in central Africa although South African banks already have established base in that area, unless DRC wakes up, if DRC wakes up and gets another leader like Lumumba then DRC would be the regional power, |
vankelvin:We don’t compare ourselves to Ghana, we are working to be at par with Egypt in terms of roads, railways and military, electricity, agriculture those industries take time to develop, but soon enough we will get a competent and revolutionary leader who will lead Nigeria to new levels. |
Shma2020:Well then your not following the conversation properly we’re talking about which African country is most likely to become a superpower in future that being Egypt and Nigeria |
oguns222:But the same soldiers have been deployed to deal with bandits and kidnappers |
AsiwajuNdigbo:Which is what I mean, the camera quality in most of their videos is bad enough for you not to be able to realize whether or not the6 were wearing military clothing or uniform plus this person provided no evidence whatsoever to back up their claims, yet you believe them out of the blue. |
AsiwajuNdigbo:Thst is just a lie thousands of people in countries like America and England dress up in military uniforms just for fun has nothing to do with sovereignty |
Appisko:Very true 2023 should be w turning point for Nigeria. |
samdunzo:Cobalt, lithium, gold and diamonds are not being hissed out cobalt and lithium are the minerals of the future you cannot build a battery or any smart device without them, so no, I agree with the countries you mentioned, jonathan actually wanted to fund inga dam project but he was voted out before the project could start off. DRC could provide power to the whole of central and west Africa with inga dam alone think about 80 000MW of power produced from 4 dams in one river and that’s inga for you. DRC is blessed as a country but cursed with leadership and terrorism funded by the west. |
samdunzo:Nigeria needs federalism just as much as DRC but another problem in DRC is Western powered terrorists which cause instability allowing for illegal smuggling of raw materials |
Shma2020:Superpowers aren’t necessarily about development or advancement, India is a world superpower but their not advanced or developed |
vankelvin:I actually agree with this list other than South Africa they lack population it’s Egypt, Nigeria, Ethiopia then DRC merely because of their human and mineral resources as well as their increasingly stronger military makes them all good contenders other than DRC because of bad leadership so you can disregard DRC on the least. But with good leadership those would be the African superpowers. |
vankelvin:Thst is true if any nation is to become a superpower first would be Egypt’s the problem with South Africa is its population, if South Africa ahead as high a population as Egypt and Nigeria then they would definitely be w contender. Egypt is first because they have some of the best roads, good railways, good housing, good ports, good schools, good hospitals best military in Africa, amazing position, massive agricultural produce and soon to be a technological and manufacturing hub. Nigeria needs to be like Egypt, the only reason why they didn’t report Egypt as an African superpower is because they consider it more of a Middle Eastern or Arab nation then an African one. Other wise there’d be a lot more reports on Egypt as an African superpower. |
https://www.newsweek.com/2020/01/31/nigeria-next-superpower-1481949.html Continue with your thoughts but if you search African superpower oky ckuntry your gonna find is Nigeria and Egypt whether you like it or not. |
You alk readily believe all of is, he didn’t provide a single picture, video and link and even if he did they could have easily gotten actors to dress up in military uniforms with guns as props, there is a lot of fake news being made in Nigeria to further divide the nation between ethnic and religious lines, be guided. |
AAC is the way forward under Sowore |
vankelvin:It was an example |
Wuoche:Morocco is nit above Nigeria I’m sorry, superpower is also about influence and size of the population. How many reports have you seen saying morocco is the next African superpowers the first African superpower is between Egypt and Nigeria at the moment |
vankelvin:I was telling s just in Europe not in the world as a whole, europe is a good example of an area with countries doing well economically and socially yet the countries are not considered world superpowers, also DRC would be a world superpower with good leadership just remember that DRC could produce over 22 trillion dollars with the export of raw materials alone per years now add processing of it goes up double then add other sectors like telecoms, agriculture etc. And you have the largest economy in the world. |
vankelvin:Even with such bad leadership we are still leading the continent, and Nigerians are waking up we are going to vote for Sowore in 2023 and Nigeria will be revolutionised the only way to a good Nigeria is restructuring and re drafting of the 1999 constitution. We will make it there, and yes every single African country can become great but not all can become superpowers Austria is an example and Switzerland they are both highly developed but they aren’t World superpowers only Russia, France and the UK are world superpowers, same way only Nigeria, Egypt and maybe South Africa are going to be superpowers as of now, even though DRC and Ethiopia are high contenders waht they’re experiencing st the omens stops them from achieving it. |
vankelvin:It’s not necessarily a matter of agreement, opinions and facts are two different things, Nigeria is one of Africa’s future superpowers that is a fact and so is Egypt and South Africa. You cannot discuss Africa's future without Nigeria |
vankelvin:Unfortunately no matter what you say Nigeria is in the big 3 powers of Africa, if any country is to become a superpower in Africa it will be Nigeria or Egypt not South Africa it doesn’t have the numbers. |
forgiveness:yes, if you ever watched videos of news reporters going into the factory of innoson you would know that they import and assemble the advanced pieces, majority of the car is imported for assembly, innoson cars are very similar to some other Chinese cars, the contract he signed allows him to import the pieces and assemble the Chinese cars under a different brand name, if you bothered to do research you would know. But the more money we pour into them and the more advanced our metallurgical industry becomes the less importation they will need. |
forgiveness:Not manufacturers they assemble it, they build the frame then assemble the pieces like engine, radiator into the car |
For anyone who doesn’t know Nigeria doesn’t produce engines and we don’t even produce the steel and aluminum needed for these products. Innoson can only build the frame, seats, pipes of the cars but has to import the engine, there is no place in Nigeria that manufactures engines, radiators and the cooling system within cars, that is a fact what they are able to do is weld the metal to build the frame of the car, the same applies to a a plane we will be able to build some parts like the exterior, but the engines, ac, lights etc. Cannot be built within Nigeria until we master production of steel and aluminum and foundries are built across the country to mould the engines we won’t move far forward on this project without foreign inputs |
Rosskivvyy:If we want to seriously manufacture things we need constant power supply, even if it doesn’t get to 100% of the population we should aim for production of 60 000MW by 2030 and increase by 10 000MW each decade thereafter, and the money companies spend to get electricity could be used somewhere else to expand operations, pay higher salaries, operate more efficient machines etc, we need constant power supply it is one of Nigeria biggest problems |
Racoon:Exactly and very soon with the revival of ALSCON and Ajaokuta we wint need to import aluminum or steel both main materials in both cars and planes, further planting is as a hub of manufacturing in Africa and hopefully one day the world. |
Finally some appreciation for local engineers and companies but any car manufacturing company needs constant power supply for any of these projects to take off properly Nigeria needs to solve ajaokuta and its power problem, this stops the companies from having to import steel and stops them from having to spend millions of dollars electricity for provision of electricity overall its very good news because I know igbo engineers and scientists are very ingenuitive not saying others aren’t |
