Zungeru dam and mambilla dam have more than enough water to run and in the case of kainji the problem is that they were supposed to install 4 more turbines, but they didn’t install those few so it doesn’t produce as much electricity as they wanted, i don’t know where you got this water level in the dam reduced thing to be honest, because it’s been producing the same amount of electricity, the only problem is it ends to have repair works on he transmission technology and the turbines.

Kano and Lagoswere the largest cities in Africa at the time, kano had groundnut pyramids, textile factories etc. Kano was an industrial hub meanwhile Lagos was the most populous city and it was the capital at the times then Abuja became the capital. We’re saying that in the next 20-30 years if any nation were to become a superpower in black Africa it would be Nigeria ( black Africa excludes South Africa and North African nations ) but truly the only competitions for superpower status in the next few decades within black Africa are Nigeria and Ethiopia no one else. When Mozambique was affected by the cyclone a year or two ago Nigeria was the First Nation to send over 20 million dollars and hundreds of tons worth of food and building materials, infact Nigeria was one of the only countries who did so. There are multiple other examples including in Liberia which Nigeria helped to end without any foreign help. Egypt isn’t as involved but Nigeria and South Africa provide a lot of aid to other African countriesl Nigeria also provided over 1 billion dollars to South Africa during apartheid we gave Nelson Mandela sanctuary as well as thabo mbeki no other African nation can boast as much charity and power as Nigeria and South Africa.
