Kwara is North Central oga, region doesn't have anything to do with what we are saying, does it mean all the states in SS are of the same tribe? All the states in the NE are of the same tribe? All the states in the NW are of the same tribe? Go and learn about geopolitical distribution of states in Nigeria, it is only South East that has pure tribe (Igbo) in the region.
Igalas exist inbthe southeast states of Anambra and Enugu

The title of this thread is different from the content, Pastor Adeboye have failed woefully at speaking against the evils of the Buhari government compared to how much he criticized the Jonathan government, that's hypocrisy.

betabread:

U r definitely a starter, let me burst u a little as I have made d mistake u r making......,
To irrigate corn one needs at least 1mm of rainfall every 4 days to be delivered by any means rain, drip sprinkler or furrow.... Now to cover a hectare multiply area by the rainfall requirement.........10,000,000 liters every 4 days, for an acre u divide by 2.5 to get 400,000 liters....... If u follow food agronomist practices u can reduce this to 100000 liters every 4 days

Before u think of irrigation one should remember this, can ur well deliver 100000liters in 4 days I doubt, so u need to go close to a river, even if ur well can, the deeper the well the higher the cost of pumping up
After this you think of the best way to distribute this water around ur field........

As u can see we have left the realm of agric into the realm of engineering
thanks for the advice but i meant that i would use the well to irrigate 1 plot of land with about 1500 stands of cucumber, the rest of the land (it's a hectare) would be used for cassava and water melon, i would plant half the land at the start of the rainy season and remaining half by September next year to ease management.

U better find land close to river or u farm only in rainy season.
i have decided to dig a well and get a water pumping machine for a start, the rest of the land would be used for cassava and water melon as adviced by someone here. Funny enough, someone is offering to get me a leased land close to a river, maybe i should check it out.

House, greetings, please, with irrigation readily available, how many plots or plant stands can an individual manage during dry season agriculture while working full time? The market is readily available.

This arrangement would mean that some state governors wouldn't be serious on encouraging economic growth and development in their states because they can always collect billions in free money at the end of the month.

Politics / Four South-East Governors Absent At Southern Governors Forum In Enugu by abouzaid: 5:42pm On Sep 16, 2021
As Forum Express Satisfaction Over Enactment Of Anti Open Grazing Laws

ENUGU – The Nigerian Southern Governors Forum on Thursday expressed satisfaction with the rate at which southern states are enacting anti open grazing laws

Our correspondent reports that only the host Governor, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu state was present at the meeting among the South-East Governors while Ebonyi, Imo and Abia were represented by their Deputy Governors and Governor of Anambra state was absent at the meeting and did not send any representative.

The Southern Governors who rose from a closed day meeting held at Government House Enugu on Thursday said the the enactment of the laws are align with the uniform template and aspiration of Southern Governors

Addressing Joirnalists shortly after the meting, the Chairman of the Southern Governors Forum, Oluwatotimi Aketedolu of Ondo state urged the states that are yet to enact the anti grazing laws to do so expeditiously.

The Southern Governors also encouraged full operationilization of already agreed regional security outfits which would meet share, intelligence and collaborate to ensure the security and safety of the region.

He said “the Nigerian Southern Govenors Forum at its meeting held on Thursday at Goverment House Enugu reviewed the state of the Nation and the progress of implementation of the decisions reached in the previous meetings and reaffirmed its earlier commitment to structural and fiscal federalism as resolved at the inaugural meeting of the forum held on Tuesday, 11th May 2021 at Asaba, Delta State and emphasized the need for the Southern States to leverage the legislative competence of their respective State Houses of Assembly as well as representation in the National assembly to pursue its inclusion in the Nigerian Constitution through the ongoing constitutional amendment.
“The meeting resolved to support the position that the collection of VAT falls within the powers of the States,” he added

The Southern Governors Expressed satisfaction with the handling of issues around the Petroleum Industry Act (PIA) and ownership of Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) by the larger Nigerian Governors’ Forum.

“We thereby reiterate our earlier position that the next President of Nigeria must come from the Southern part of Nigeria in line with politics of equity, justice and fairness,” he said

The Forum thanked the host Governor, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, and chose Rivers State as the next host for the Southern Governors’ Forum meeting in November 2021.

Once you have to be buying water for irrigation purposes due to circumstances beyond your control, just forget about the plan. At what water rate? For what volume? For what land area? for what crop?. It's not worth it. But I might be wrong!
hmmm, what about if i dig a well on site?

Please help, i have secured a large plot of land that might be as big as 20 plots when measured but my problem is how to irrigate it, it doesn't belong to me so drilling of a well or borehole might not be allowed by the owner so the next option would be to buy water from neighbors with borehole and transfer it by pipe to a plastic water tank or tanks on site, i would like to start with one crop and one plot at a time and gradually turn the entire plot to a full time vegetable garden, so how best should i approach the irrigation problem? What size of tank should i buy giving my current and future plans? Any other advice would be appreciated?

Politics / No Serious Military Operation In Zamfara, Photos In Circulation Are Old Ones - B by abouzaid: 4:16pm On Sep 15, 2021
Bulama Bukarti, a well-known journalist, has stated that there is no serious military operation in Zamfara State, contrary to what has been speculated on social media. The journalist alleged that the videos and pictures in circulation are not recent.

Bulama, who specializes in terrorism reporting, made this known on his verified Twitter handle on Sunday, September 12, 2021.

The journalist confirmed that bandits are struggling to get fuel and food during this period, and their communication has been shut down by the government. Aside from this, there has been no serious military operation against the terrorists in Zamfara State.

He said: "Multiple sources in Zamfara State told Daily Trust that "no serious military operation" is going on in the state and footage/photos being circulated (possibly including the one I watched days ago) are old ones. While terrorists are struggling with no fuel, food, and communication, nothing much is being done by the military to confront them. This is another example of states doing their part, but the FG is dithering. State governments are blocking terrorists’ supply routes, but this alone can’t work. The military must pounce on them before they adapt and return."

The government ofcourse, was it not in this country that the national budget of the ministry of information (and propaganda) was more than the ministry of health? So now, we're seeing the consequences through doctor strikes and rapid emigration while the government bans Twitter, pays Garba Shehu to develop a crappy failed version of Twitter and BMC crews opening threads with phrases like"I'm Igbo but i don't support the sit at home" Umu Ekwensu.

in your video on staking, did you do the ridges first before mounting the bamboo stakes on them? Do you re-use the stakes with them been permanently installed on the ground? And the rope that connect the bamboo stakes together, is it twine or binding wire?
