Boko haram would be granted amnesty by the Buhari government and be heavily rewarded too through cash payments, scholarships, trainings etc. The next terror war would be through the Fulani herdsmen renamed bandits by the Buhari government, they're mostly boko haram members. The government would aid them with the security forces and legitimise their activities through the grazing reserves plan. The country is already at war with the Fulani herdsmen and they are armed enough to even shoot down airforce attack helicopters. |

Meanwhile in Nigeria, we're discussing how to steal land from Oyo and Ebonyi states and give it to herdsmen from Sokoto state. Every herdsman have a state of origin, let their governors take of them to promote their personal businesses. Igbo traders are not fighting with AK47 to seize land from every state to build their personal businesses markets and housing estates nor are plant farmers, transporters, pig farmers etc doing the same. |

The fg should better grant bail to Nnamdi Kanu, his background as a Prince and a political scientist makes him to act stately but Simon Ekpa is a military officer who prefers attack as a first line of defense. The current Nigerian government does not understand the craft of statemanship in modern times, they think dictatorship and childish propaganda from the likes of Lai Mohammed would work in an age of a global increase in nationalism fuelled by the the free flow of information. Even our ex colonial master Britain have exited the European Union. 9 Likes 1 Share |

So the police have finally changed this girl's story, this was the girl that they arrested and turned into their maid to cook for them and wash their clothes, they also extorted the sum of #220,000 from her family. The story made it to tge nairaland FrontPage twice with receipts of payments. They have suddenly heaped allegations against her while boko haram fighters are getting presidential amnesty. When would Igbo politicians and religious leaders speak out against what is going on in the southeast? Nigeria have failed us. 1 Like |

Buhari have less than two years to go, that is why he is pushing this land grabbing crime with a sense of urgency, i guess he would try to bribe southern politicians by agreeing to rig them into power if they equally support the seizure of land from their state indigenes and giving the same to the Fulani. Buhari knows that the next president would likely be a southerner who would abandon this land grabbing act so he wants to enforce it before he leaves. That's what he meant that he would not leave power as a failure. 1 Like |

And some psychophants were spending stolen money to hype this yahoo yahoo pastor to be the next president? Nigeria can only progress when we abandon stupid religion and tribal supremacy. |

Politics / Why FG Can’t Prosecute Repentant Insurgents -lai Mohammed by abouzaid: 5:53am On Aug 21, 2021 |
The Federal Government has admonished “naysayers” to stop spewing negative and false narratives around Boko Haram members who are surrendering in droves in the North-East. The Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed gave the admonition in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria on Friday in Washington. NAN reports that no fewer than 1,000 Boko Haram fighters and their families have handed themselves over to army units in recent weeks in the southern Borno towns of Konduga, Bama, and Mafa. The minister berated those who were alleging that the surrendered insurgents were not actual Boko Haram fighters and if they were, they should be shot rather than granted amnesty. He also described as “false and demoralising’’ the claim in certain quarters that the surrendered insurgents would be recruited into the Nigerian military “The fact that we are witnessing insurgents submitting in droves calls for commendation of our military for their doggedness. “We must not forget that two months ago, Nigerians were putting pressure on the President to recruit mercenaries to fight the war against terror because they said we were losing the war. It would be wasted building a non profitable airport in Yobe, a non profitable railway from Daura to Niger republic and searching for non existing oil in the North. It seems the North and northerners wants to get as much as they can out of Nigeria while integrating their economy with that of Niger republic before Nigeria would eventually split. |
Politics / More Nigerians Have Become ‘biafrans’ Under Buhari – Atiku by abouzaid: 3:13am On Aug 20, 2021 |
Former Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, has said more Nigerians are becoming “Biafrans” under the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari. Atiku made the remark while lamenting that the Buhari-led government has failed to heed the call for restructuring of Nigeria. Speaking in Abuja on Thursday, the former Vice President also accused the Buhari-led government of failing to respect the constitutional provisions on federal character. The former Vice President noted that the symbolic gestures that make ethnic groups feel a sense of belonging have been scorned by the government. According to Atiku, the result of such action is that “agitations that turned more groups into Biafrans have become even more strident and, in some cases, violent”. The former Vice President also maintained that restructuring would help fix some of Nigeria’s cultural and regional challenges. “The fixing or restructuring will help in our nation-building project because it will help to foster a sense of nationhood out of our disparate groups, cultures, religions, and regions. “We must restructure our country in a manner that allows various segments to develop at their own pace and not be held back by the centre or other segments. Developed segments will spur development in other segments because what they do well will attract the attention of others. “That may make a Nigerian union more attractive and nation-building easier. Our poor nation-building record should not be an excuse for developmental inaction or backwardness.” https://www.google.com/amp/s/dailypost.ng/2021/08/19/more-nigerians-have-become-biafrans-under-buhari-atiku/%3famp=1?espv=1 |
