Boko haram would be granted amnesty by the Buhari government and be heavily rewarded too through cash payments, scholarships, trainings etc. The next terror war would be through the Fulani herdsmen renamed bandits by the Buhari government, they're mostly boko haram members. The government would aid them with the security forces and legitimise their activities through the grazing reserves plan. The country is already at war with the Fulani herdsmen and they are armed enough to even shoot down airforce attack helicopters.

The "rational" action to take was to run away from the country and not to seek redress from the court? Even when the court sought for him to present himself for the continuation of his trial, he shunned the court, which made the judge to issue a bench warrant for his arrest. The fact remains that he jumped bail. Even if the court were to consider him, the court would look at several opportunities he had to present himself in court but failed to do so.
the army acted against a subsisting court order with the court been unable to penalise them and you expect any rational human being to still make himself available to his assailants? Bye bye biko

Meanwhile in Nigeria, we're discussing how to steal land from Oyo and Ebonyi states and give it to herdsmen from Sokoto state. Every herdsman have a state of origin, let their governors take of them to promote their personal businesses. Igbo traders are not fighting with AK47 to seize land from every state to build their personal businesses markets and housing estates nor are plant farmers, transporters, pig farmers etc doing the same.

The fg should better grant bail to Nnamdi Kanu, his background as a Prince and a political scientist makes him to act stately but Simon Ekpa is a military officer who prefers attack as a first line of defense. The current Nigerian government does not understand the craft of statemanship in modern times, they think dictatorship and childish propaganda from the likes of Lai Mohammed would work in an age of a global increase in nationalism fuelled by the the free flow of information. Even our ex colonial master Britain have exited the European Union.

the arrest og Glory Okolie by the IRT police unit and transfer to their headquarters in Abuja shows how useless the Gov of IMO state is. he has prove himself to be the worst in history of IMO.
this is not his first time of negligence by him to regulate some actions by police officers in his state.
just of resent Lagos gov introduce some rules to the police, why not do same in ur state.
and for the police to tag her IPob spy it show's how low they can go to create allegation in order to save face. and we have not hear the story of the girl it still one side voice we have had. what of the girl comes out to speak how the molested her. for her to be seen washing cloth shows she never did anything they where cashing out on the family and in order to avoid the legal issue that may come up as the story has gone online. they transferred her to Abuja's to manage the issue.

anybody that can post this on Twitter should do that, it our duties to speak against oppression and call on the IMO state govt for been foolish in their silent.
The current governor of Imo state is a disgrace in all ramifications, no northern Muslim governor would tolerate this in their state, look at how they were trooping to Oyo state after their people were taught a lesson at Saki.

So the police have finally changed this girl's story, this was the girl that they arrested and turned into their maid to cook for them and wash their clothes, they also extorted the sum of #220,000 from her family. The story made it to tge nairaland FrontPage twice with receipts of payments. They have suddenly heaped allegations against her while boko haram fighters are getting presidential amnesty. When would Igbo politicians and religious leaders speak out against what is going on in the southeast? Nigeria have failed us.

Buhari have less than two years to go, that is why he is pushing this land grabbing crime with a sense of urgency, i guess he would try to bribe southern politicians by agreeing to rig them into power if they equally support the seizure of land from their state indigenes and giving the same to the Fulani. Buhari knows that the next president would likely be a southerner who would abandon this land grabbing act so he wants to enforce it before he leaves. That's what he meant that he would not leave power as a failure.

The Federal Government has admonished “naysayers” to stop spewing negative and false narratives around Boko Haram members who are surrendering in droves in the North-East.

The Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed gave the admonition in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria on Friday in Washington.

NAN reports that no fewer than 1,000 Boko Haram fighters and their families have handed themselves over to army units in recent weeks in the southern Borno towns of Konduga, Bama, and Mafa.

The minister berated those who were alleging that the surrendered insurgents were not actual Boko Haram fighters and if they were, they should be shot rather than granted amnesty.

He also described as “false and demoralising’’ the claim in certain quarters that the surrendered insurgents would be recruited into the Nigerian military

“The fact that we are witnessing insurgents submitting in droves calls for commendation of our military for their doggedness.

“We must not forget that two months ago, Nigerians were putting pressure on the President to recruit mercenaries to fight the war against terror because they said we were losing the war.

“The President, however, remained focused and confident in his belief in the Nigerian military that they have what it takes to defeat the insurgents.

“We thank God that Mr President today has been proven right.

“We were able to achieve this, largely because of the leadership of Mr President in providing the wherewithal continually to the military and ensuring that their fighting morale is sustained by way of welfare packages,’’ he said.

Mohammed added that the call for the prosecution and killing of the repentant militants rather than granting them amnesty was against global best practices.

“I personally spoke to the military authority before I left Nigeria and they said what they were doing is what the global practice dictates about soldiers that surrendered that should be treated as prisoners of war.

“You cannot just shoot them because there are international conventions that give rights also to prisoners of war

“What the military is doing is that, when they surrender, they profile them to ensure that they are genuine and reintegrate them into the society,’’ he said.

It would be wasted building a non profitable airport in Yobe, a non profitable railway from Daura to Niger republic and searching for non existing oil in the North. It seems the North and northerners wants to get as much as they can out of Nigeria while integrating their economy with that of Niger republic before Nigeria would eventually split.
Politics / More Nigerians Have Become ‘biafrans’ Under Buhari – Atiku by abouzaid: 3:13am On Aug 20, 2021
Former Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, has said more Nigerians are becoming “Biafrans” under the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari.

Atiku made the remark while lamenting that the Buhari-led government has failed to heed the call for restructuring of Nigeria.

Speaking in Abuja on Thursday, the former Vice President also accused the Buhari-led government of failing to respect the constitutional provisions on federal character.

The former Vice President noted that the symbolic gestures that make ethnic groups feel a sense of belonging have been scorned by the government.

According to Atiku, the result of such action is that “agitations that turned more groups into Biafrans have become even more strident and, in some cases, violent”.

The former Vice President also maintained that restructuring would help fix some of Nigeria’s cultural and regional challenges.

“The fixing or restructuring will help in our nation-building project because it will help to foster a sense of nationhood out of our disparate groups, cultures, religions, and regions.

“We must restructure our country in a manner that allows various segments to develop at their own pace and not be held back by the centre or other segments. Developed segments will spur development in other segments because what they do well will attract the attention of others.

“That may make a Nigerian union more attractive and nation-building easier. Our poor nation-building record should not be an excuse for developmental inaction or backwardness.”

Glory Left Home June 17 And Never Returned; Found Cooking For IRT Officers

Nigerian Human Right activist and DG, Behind Bars Family Harrison Gwamnishu has revealed how 21 year old Miss Glory Okolie who enrolled for 2021 JAMB examination has been in police detention since 17th June, 2021 till date.

He said Miss Glory left the house and never returned but was found in the custody of IRT officers cooking and washing clothes for them.

THIS IS NIGERIA

21 year old Miss Glory Okolie who enrolled for 2021 JAMB exam has been in police detention since 17th June, 2021 till date.

She left the house and never returned.

Since 17th June, her families had searched for her in hospitals and mortuaries but couldn't find her.

Ending of June, 2021, a young man who was freed from IRT office Tiger Base Owerri told the Okolie family that he saw Glory in the custody of IRT officers cooking and washing clothes for them.

The family immediately went to IRT office and requested to see Glory and bail her out and till date it’s been one story or the other.

MAYBE THEY HAVE MARRIED HER, WE WILL FIND OUT.

The IRT officers allegedly continued to extort the family and denied them access to see Glory.

Our team launched investigation and discovered Glory has been transferred to Abuja and tagged IPOB/ESN member.

Behind Bars Human Rights Foundation wishes to draw the attention of IGP Complaint Response Unit Abuja and the new IRT head DCP Tunji Disu to rescue Glory who has now become a maid in Nigeria police custody.

Attached are evidences of all the money extorted and paid into an account provided by the IRT officers by the family of Glory.
