what's the essence of the lounge that opens only to the living room?, to access the kitchen, you must be seen in the living room, small kitchen and dining rooms, one of the bedroom is only accessible from the Backdoor and i wonder if it's supposed to be the maids room or what? |

oruma19: It seems to me that most people that have commented so far really do not understand the cost implications of raising a 2bedroom flat no matter how small it seems. I expected that the mode of payment for such lovely buildings be questioned and not the cost. It is very cheap and reasonable for 2.7m. when governors do the right thing they should be applauded and encouraged and not foolishly criticized. Appreciation is application for more. This is one of the reasons our leaders steal our common wealth because no matter what they do for the people, we never really appreciate. Let us have real introspective revolution and see how Nigeria will change for the better. you made a lpt of sense but from the small stamp sized plot of land to the quality of finishing (checkout the roofing material), this houses are too costly especially in the north, however if it comes with at least a fifteen years mortgage at no additional cost, then it's a great deal. |

Without disclosing much, it was the only major facility in the West easily accessible to top officers in Abacha years because of embargo. Yours truly had the opportunity to see the place then. i think that's the same facility been used by ibb. |

bootstrap: Sorry OP, i do not really agree with u (thats if i understand u fully)
U saying the experience over paper qualifications.... I say, the experience AND paper qualifications. Its like saying sm igbo dude that has sold drugs all his life shld be employed as a pharmacist over a trained pharmacist.
As much as i get the direction of ur point... If u ever had to recruit or be amongst a recruitment panel, u will be surprised the number of CVs one wld hv to work thru and the kind of trumped up experiences people claim.
Nigeria isnt aplace u can contact a former employee for a true assessment of any candidate. (even if that employee was sacked for burning down the server room). Except the person is frm a well knwn firm.
Finally, one wld just rather err with the dude that has a computing/product related certificate/diploma over one who doesn't; assuming they all hv those trumped up experiences.
Ps: sorry mehn... Nigeria isnt a normal society. .. Things dnt work straight forward here most of the time.. Lol sorry, i would say demonstrated ability, i can easily easily bet my lunch money that 99% of Nigeria's current nysc members can't code a simple exchange rate converter/calculator with simple point and click GUI in any programming language so why should i respect their qualifications? respect is earned. |

I am a graduate of computer science and very good with windows programming(visual studio IDE), infact that I boast of. Everything I know today was self motivated and trust me, I am still learning, but the sad news is, I got no job. similar experience here, i have been programming since after leaving secondary school, then it was vb6,but the lack of a clear cut employment market for programmers have made me to loose interest in the field.experience have taught me not to take computer science graduates serious. |

donphilopus: The OP and the 3rd commenter are just so foolish. OP, stop blabbing and post the result of your Polling Unit for everyone to see. You made so much noise here on Nairaland prior to this Election. I'm surprised you're now here crying like a baby.
What conscience are you even talking about? The same conscience you refused to use in 2015? Didn't your conscience tell you to vote out Jonathan in 2015? When you voted (for) him, didn't your conscience judge you? How do I even vote (for) the CoS and later SSG to 'Thief' Lucky Igbinedion? If I do not vote him, why would my conscience judge me? Judge me for not voting a thief? Even tell me what made you vote Jonathan in 2015. If not because he was a Southerner or because he was the highest bidder. Pls, if you have nothing to say, switch off your vote and go to the bed.
APC shared money yesterday and PDP equally shared. Why are you then making it to look as if only APC shared money in Edo State? Once again, if you have nothing meaningful to say, go and sleep! the op didn't even say that directly that apc was sharing money yet you have already concluded that they're the one doing so because you that's the truth, you also know that anybody that collected money have already sold his right to criticism of the candidate if he eventually becomes the governor regardless of how corrupt, partisan, treacherous, lying and clueless he is as a governor. you're probably one of those paid apc online change agents. |
