did anybody else notice the grammatical blunders on this article? it's the same with all Nigerian newspapers.

the thing is,in the north where I'm from,the elite and well to do don't marry out their daughters at age 9 or even 16..they go to sch and all..the less privileged however give birth to a lot of children and since they can't cater for these children,they marry them off to the highest bidder..it's not right but its what it is! so with this my small story do you now get why I dont think she married at that age??

I'm in the north now and i can tell you that prominent men often give out their underaged daughters to other prominent men like buhari. if buhari is 72 and the wife is 40, then do the maths.

the report quoted the judge as saying that the complainant has forgiven the accused. I'm igbo and a pro biafran living in the north, i help all within my power and i don't see other tribes as my enemies yet that doesn't not mean i want to be in the same zoo of a country with the rest of them.

this so called report is a complete disgrace to professional journalism.

Nigerians are totally clueless, this is a move for a few individuals to monopolize the drug distribution trade. mind you, atleast 95% of all the drugs marketed in Nigeria are imported. when Nigeria ends up like the USA where pharmaceutical monopolies are sucking the people to death, then we would learn. a drug that would cost u #50 in Nigeria can cost u more than #6000 in usa even though they are both made by the same manufacturer in India or China and have the same efficiency. government should not get involved in any the running of any business, it will only lead to crony capitalism. remember what happened in the cement, sugar, salt and iron rods industry.

nice designs, pls i thought the building regulations stipulates a minimum setback of 10 feet for the back and sides of a building while the front gets 20 feet? i know this is rigorously followed but why can't u factor it in the design? i have noticed that almost all the designers on this forum don't design houses that would fit into a standard 50 x100 while obeying the stipulated setbacks

@abouzaid, I won't be able to post the floor plan nor the architectural plan on this thread. It is against my agreement with the builder. I hope you understand.

pls what about mailing it to my email box(greenermodels@gmail.com), pls talk with him about that. i promise to mail d final rendered images back to him. pls I'm in a rural part of the north and nairaland is my only possible gateway to get such plans. i really need them to practice my skills after studying the tutorials. pls consider me.

That was the reason that the Nigerian govt created federal govt colleges in the 1970s- to do away with tribalism and quota system. As a united nation we are invincible and strong but if we continue to bicker amongst each other we remain weak easy targets for our enemies. We need a visionary leader who can unite all Nigerians across all ethnic groups.

federal government colleges that offer admission by quota system? where an igbo must score nearly 100% to gain admission while the hausas only need 2%? Nigeria is a hopeless case.

no estimate can be made without the floor plan and you need to be a bit open minded by disclosing the location of the project as this is the biggest determinant in deciding cost of workmanship

pls i have provided the email address on the old floor plan thread, its greenermodels@gmail.com. the ahiara declaration proves that Nigeria is still suffering from the same problems it has in the 1960's while more serious nations are moving forward

if i had learnt masonry when i left secondary school in 2002, i would have been a successful building contractor today. my years in the university studying social science was a complete waste spent learning repentative courses.

Nigerians always mistook plain honesty as been pessimistic and that's why we are still grappling with the same problems we have in the 1960s, I'm an igbo man living in the north, travels constantly to Lagos and voted in the east. when i told my mum who is a Catholic that what fr mbaka is saying is d truth, she replied " so we should always be ruled by the north" of which i have no answer to. pdp will commit political hara kiri in projecting a Hausa Fulani candidate in 2019 because the east would just be politically nonchalant. apga is d party to watch in d east not even pdp. their collaboration harmed apga so things might be different in 2019

those ppl are there on their own o, the east will never vote apc. if the pdp even put forward a Hausa Fulani candidate in 2019, the eastern voters will simply stay at home than rather vote for any of them. the same fate will also befall apga and obiano knows it. what the eastern voters want is restructuring of Nigeria to avoid one part of the country dominating the others politically. they don't care if ngige gets the sgf or not cos they have gained nothing from this politicians in the past. the current sgf is igbo, what has he achieved for his ppl. they also don't care if buhari marginalizes them in terms of infrastructure knowing his history of doing same as the ptf chairman. such marginalization is what cost him eastern votes and it's continuation would only cause him major problems. i personally don't expect much from the apc government given the known history of its leaders and the impracticability of their campaign promises. they don't have a manifesto or even idea on how to fix Nigeria. buhari latest interview on tvc saw him answering every question with " we will fight corruption, provide employment and infrastructure" it was very nauseating. but i wish him the best cos victory comes from God alone and the corrupt and clueless pdp digged their own grave.
