Terrorism as associated with Islam, is worst and indeed more barbaric that the 'ungodly' activities of the the so-called pastors! What do you have to say concerning the several connections between terrorism, suicide bombing, and mass murders and the shouting of "Allah Akbar" when these malevolence are committed? Our friend told us that he cant leave christianity for a simple fact that he loves drinking and partying and he cant afford to let go the lifestyle that christiany preaches - the dancings, singings, beautiful chicks at the church etc.

But seriously a whole number of people who i know that never miss church servic especially on sundays go there most especially for the "dancing' time, and to chat up their fellow admirers. they are totally deaf to the preaching of the pastors.

They all return confessing how their waste aches them from the dancing at such and never with how repentant they have become from the preaching.

If religious leaders preach to the like of Farouk Lawan, Femi Otedola, Bode George, Etteh and the rest and keep reminding them of the wrath of God if they desist from being corrupt, there would have long been an improvement in Nigeria.

Politic, teachers, civil servants and all others go to all these religious houses at least once every week and yet nothing to show they have an iota of fear in them.

Being a bachelor and having quite a number of visitors coming over especially during weekends. Having a stock piled fridge has always been a passion thing.

When I visit the mall to do my shopping, top on my priority list is usually my Fridge. I love to see a fully stocked fridge with different varieties of Juice, Canned Drink, Chocolate, Cakes, Biscuits and a few number of other junks.

Hardly would you walk through even the smallest street in the whole of Nigeria without finding at least one religious house usually a church. In some cases you can find up to 10 churches on a particular street.

If you are a visitor to Nigeria you can't but wonder why the so much emphasis in religion and yet the nation is noted as one of the most corrupt and criminal driven country in the world.

Churches yet to acquire their own buildings or flat usually have a short lease/rent in Warehouses, Eateries, Schools, Event Centers, Hotels, Guest Houses and even Brothels. You just can't but wonder if this so called 'men of God' take their worships and service to Hotels, Guest Houses and Brothels and yet still stand on that 'make shift' Pulpit screaming on the to of their voice against Armed Robbery, Alcohol, Fornication and Adultery isn't that the greatest height of Hypocrites. As this venues an are places synonymous to such illicit and sinful crimes.

Currently in Nigeria, there are well over 150,000 different types of churches with different names and mode of worship. Some specialize in preaching Financial Breakthrough, Prosperity, Promotion, Solution to single hood, Miracles, and so many other Worldly gains with only a hand few of them left who still preach Salvation and the Fear of God.

It was a norm in the late 80s to the 90s church all joining the bandwagon of 'Speaking in Tongues' it was such a trend that any church that didn't speak such 'spiritual language' was rarely patronized as members believe church a church wasn't strong enough to wipe off all their spiritual attack.

Along the way also came the trend of 'Miracle Performances'. People trooped in their hundreds of thousands to attend services and miracle healing in such churches. Every pastor was supposed to learn the art of 'miracle' to remain in business.

As times and events went by, Churches suddenly became 'International Ventures'. With most of them acquiring properties in all nooks and crannies of the country as a form of building their real estate profile, Setting up of Schools (with highly ridiculous fees), hiring of privates jets (from the fleets of jets they have), massive printing press, bakeries, table and sachet water manufacturing, Hall rentals, Media houses and many more too numerous to mention.

All these businesses were un- arguable set up from funds raised from tithe and offerings from average and below averaged members who in most cases cannot afford to pay for such business services and products the church business offers.

When heavy financial and material donations are made to pastors and the church, this supposed men of God fail to make inquiries how such was acquired by the member either through legal or illegal ways, but yet they jump and the gift with both hands.

It is certainly still fresh in our mind our a man 'stole' the generating set of a popular hotel and donated it to his church alongside millions of Maura. When he was caught and the law enforcement demanded the pastor refund the generating set and the money stolen by the member, the pastor bluntly refused saying afteral he never forced the man to go and steal the generator from his employees and as such can't return such gift as it has entered 'into the house of God'.

Another case was that of some Bank CEO's and Directors who were found to have basically looted hundreds of millions of dollars from the banks which they controlled and this same set of people were front seat members of churches and major donors in such churches.

One can't but wonder if these so called 'men of God' were truly chosen and preached the true words of God, then why have they chosen to crave after worldly gains rather than preach the word of God to their Congregation. It doesn't need rocket science to know God will definitely frown n at gift gotten through criminal means but yet these so called men of God will jump at such items with their both hands and legs and hold on tight to it like their lives depended on it.

None of these 'elite' men of God will ever come out to criticize and condemn in strong terms the bad decisions and policies of government, they will all turn a blind eye at the actions of the government and openly condemn their members for protesting for their rights. This is clearly as a result because of the romance and financial benefits between such general over seers of churches and government officials.

On and one the stories and examples are too numerous to mention. But the bottom line is, it is now evident rather than these religious leaders to preach the word of God and educate their congregation on how to act according to the laid down rules of God Almighty so as to avoid Hell Fire, they are all out there preaching prosperity and worldly gains which directly has led to the high rate to crime and illicit acts in the society and the world over.

It is a known global knowledge that in as much as Nigeria has the most number of churches per square meter in the world, the country also has the highest number of criminals across the globe.

the ONLY 3 NASS members I ever respected from 1999 till date.

But yet after one or two incidence I came to the conclusion they are ALL rogues, criminals and traitors.

Farouk Lawan is a CROOk, THIEF and CRIMINAL. I thought he was shouting all over the place that it was his caricature that was seen he the video and not him. He almost swore with heavens that he didn't collect bribe from Otedola.

1) We all know those NASS members to stand by themselves to the last. So claiming to have sent a letter to the Chairman Financial crimes is just a plot by the members to cover up for Lawan (the short thief)

2) Why was Zenon Oil whose name was initially included in those who were involved in the Subsidy fraud suddenly dissapear? This definitely happened after the exchange of the $620,000.

3) Otedola came out and said the dates and amount in which the 3 different bribery occured, but farouk is leaving the $120,000 paid to the comitte secretary out of the story. Is it until when another video clip is brought out to prove that the secretary actually received the last payment before these bunch of rotten hell bound criminals confess they actually took bribe.

4) Farouk was such an idi*ot to go ask for bribe from one of the PDP's strongest financials and a very close ally and advice to at least 3 previous presidents of this country. Did he expect to come out clean on this? He isn't just a short baboon but also a daf*t ape. Just like trying to rope dangote in paying you bribe, or Threatening to collect bribe from a Donald Trump (in a republican led government).

This men are not just close to the presidency but also big time mafians.


Farouk Lawan should not only step down from that committee but also be booted out as a NASS member (his constituency should call him back). The law efforcement should try him and his sentence should not be less than 10years.

Let's turn a blind eye at sentiments and judge the truth.

If Faroukl with all his noise and condemnation can ask for bribe of that magnitude, then Nigerians ask yourself who you trust to lead you to a better Nigeria and fight for your course genuinely.
