mimifonwon: See what am saying, aturu like you forget that those states are part of Nigeria, so as a nigerian I have a say in what happens in my homeland. This is the problem with nigeria with people getting tribal about everything. Granted my father is a yorubaman, but my mother is an igbo woman. And as you know in igboland you cannot hurt me, because thats is my mothers land and i can say whatever i want, because i am not an outsider, even if you say i am, am a protected one. If you feel there things needed to be fixed in ogun, okay please name them and make recommendations on how to solve it, dont just talk half hazardously, like someone without sense. Secondly I help my mother with her medical runs every other summer to help better your life, and provide the medical care your governors, nor government have been unable to make available. We visit 10 cities, 4 of which are in igboland, so dont you dare tell me i have no right to comment, i have every right, if not more than you, so sharap there - uza oku di na apko, apko ya nti emechie!! kpacha kwara anya ghi oo!!You sounds like Alj_harem. I said this for a reason. His conspicuous absence from this thread is suspicious |
Gbawe: I would care what you think if at all I am into respecting the opinion of insecure losers, bullies and those predisposed to thinking everyone hates them, envies them and want to wipe them out. Your mind and mentality is prison and punishment enough in a modern world where many are just happy to grapple with the challenges of life. You only deserve pity.I've always suspected that u have some mental issues. And I believe that my suspicion is not misplaced. The manner in which u labels every Igbo poster that u comes across as "insecure", "loser", "thinking everyone hates them", "envies them", "wants to wipe them out" indicates automatism. I'm not contestin for the title of a winner on NL with u. Since it does not lessen my professional achievements. Hold fast to your winner label. I can quotes Ndu-chucks past comments to back up my assertion. Can u prove yours? |
ogugua88: The Anambra and Neni associations are for Anambrans and Nenians, but everyone is welcome. OnlyTruth finds it logical to combat tribalism with segregation and discrimination.I used to follow your comments long before I joined NL. I must confess that u are an interestin character. You are bright. But u still have a lot to learn in life. One thing I noticed about u from your comments on this thread is that u are proud. I noticed that u don't have respect for other people's opinion. That's why u think that other Igbos that refused to join the protest are stup!d. BTW, did u take part in the protest? Hmm. . .u are behind your keyboard organisin foot soldiers that will go out to take the bullet for u. Pls post a picture of u taking part in the protests on this thread or forever remain silent. You can't lead from behind. When u mobilize people to protest, u must take the lead. I don't care if u are described as 'very intelligent' or 'balanced'. I can only advise u to thread the path of caution. Your head should not swell yet. Nwata a na etiri egwu surugede o na agba, a maghi na egwu surugede bu egwu ndi muo. BTW, can u qoute where Onlytruth implied that u are a lesser Igbo? There are many female Igbo posters on this forum such as Freecocoa, Ekwy, Nnenna, etc. and they all share one trait in common when interactin with the men from their tribe on this forum. That trait is "respect". Regrettably, your comments so far shows lack of it. |
@BlackPikiN, Can u point out my comment which u think is offensive? |
As for Gbawe, you've always been a closet tribalist who masquerades himself as an objective poster. I don't know your interest here if not malicious and tribalistic. I'm yet to see u criticize ACN or Fashola with your long and boring comments. |
Ndu-chucks, I'm wary of your advice. I becomes jittery when someone that is renowned in the use of threats, intimidation, violence and annihilation to advance his argument against me comes to settle my family squabble. You love to humiliate and insult Igbos. U thrives on Igbo disunity. Now u want to pounce on this opportunity to paint us as bullies. Thanks but no thanks for your advice. This is an internal affair. We don't need your suggestion. We did not even ask for your help. We love and respect our daughter, Ogugua88. Though her opinion might differ from our own. We still value it BTW. That's Igbo society for you. We don't restrict the freedom of our women. We encourage them to participate. That's why u encounter many of them here on daily basis contributing and even criticizin us. I'm yet to see any female northern poster on this forum. On the other note, we are not apologetic to anyone for being Igbos. And we can not modify our behaviour to appease our neighbours just like Ogugua88 suggested implicitly. Ogugua88 might never understand until she is placed in a position of authority. Often times, we thinks that our policy-makers are dumb. Only to be worse than the people that we criticize when we assumes the position. Anambra iz educationally bacward compared to other states in Nigeria? I'm really surprised! Why iz the JAMB cut-off mark for Anambra and Imo indigenes the highest in Nigeria? Methinks that JAMB should lower their cut-off for us to catch up with Kaduna. |
ogugua88: Call a spade a spade. Nigeria is not greater than Botswana, talkless of the US, thanks to poor governance and poor mentalities. Why don't u come back to Nigeria and transform it? Maybe, change the mentality of its people. Why should u be in another person's home while yours is dilapidatin? Talk iz cheap. ogugua88: It doesn't matter who supports you or how many. Many people supported GEJ and see how that has turned out. This is BS. Nigeria have never had any good president and I bet u that anybody that succeeds Jonathan will be worse than Jonathan. ogugua88: If I died with good values, knowing I fought for what I believe in, being true equality amongst all Nigerians, then I am fine. You are filled with idealizm my dear. You are so much detached from the reality or maybe u've never been in touch with Nigerian reality. You are free to give a try. ogugua88: If you want a fair and free Nigeria, then you should start acting like it.Nwa Ada, u are preachin at the wrong quarter. Take your preachin to the proponents of Federal character system. Take your preachin to those who own the oil wells while the real owners perish in poverty. Take your preachin to those who are determined to rig elections and foist unpopular politicians on us. Take your preachin to the businessmen who found their names on Forbes list through government patrionage. Take your preachin to those who are afraid of an idea of Igboman rulin this country, no matter his competence. ogugua88: Fuel subsidy removal doesn't have to be your headache. If something is wrong, you can't stand against it? If wrong is wrong,Why are u cherry-pickin on fuel subsidy? What of the killings? What of the unemployments? What of the campaign of violence and intimidations? Why are u so fixated on the fuel subsidy that is a foregone conclusion? How many times have government walked back on their decision in this country? Therefore, it's pointless to protest. ogugua88: I'll be vocal. You make it seem like Igbos weren't effected by the removal. People traveled to their villages in December and couldn't return home because prices doubled overnight.Pls take your heart-meltin story to Romance section. We only give opinions here. The superior opinion wins the argument. ogugua88: Democracy is failing in Nigeria, not because it was executed poorly, but because it hasn't been executed at all.Democracy is failin Nigeria because it was built on a weak foundation. We practise sham democracy. The democratic institutions are not strengthened or they are deliberately weakened ogugua88: Ministers, governors, senators, representatives, and others lead us, but they do not know what our Constitution encompasses. They know the constitution more than u. They are the ones that wrote it. They deliberately introduced some clauses to serve their purpose. They are more clever than u. Yet u are underestimatin them. ogugua88: I don't think regionalism or secession is the answer. If we have a leader who executes as he's supposed to, then Nigeria can be prosperous. You have the right to your opinion but not to your fact. ogugua88: Regionalism is en vogue as of now. GEJ was en vogue April of 2011. I don't jump bandwagons.Regionalism has always been in vogue since 60s. Pls pick many books on Nigeria and read. You can't just jump into the discussion and harrass us with your ignorance. I know that u are in your early 20s. But that's not the excuse to hold on to your ignorance. |
ogugua88: but I feel some of you only show your fullest potential when it comes to matters concerning Ndi Igbo. How many Hausas, Yourubas, Kanuris have u seen on this forum advocate for the Igbos? C'mon wake up from your slumber. I hope that u are not high on weekend party drugs while typin this comments. ogugua88: It's something I have noticed from many Igbos, including yourself. I say this without fear because I'm Igbo. You need to hear it from your own, because if I was Hausa or Yoruba, you wouldn't give me the time of day.You are pickin bones with your tribesmen because u know that we cannot push u back aggressively. I've seen some of your exchange with some folks from other tribrs on Romance section. I've seen them get nasty with u on several occasions. But u are here flexin your muscle. You want us to hand u the pretext to accuse us of thrash-talkin our Nwa Ada. You better ignore the politics section and concentrate on the Romance and Celebrity section. I hope that u are still flexin with Flavour at Villa Toscana? Here is not the section for ephemeral emotionalism. Just move on and ignore us here. ogugua88: You don't have superiority complex, yet you keep asking me if I can read Igbo. No, I can't read Igbo. Go ahead and strip me of my Igbohood. This is why u should quickly abandon your foray into politics section and withdraw back to Romance and Celebrity section. You are gettin emotional already. |
ogugua88: I recall that during the fuel subsidy strikes, Igbos were silent, and you backed them by claiming that Igbos had no business protesting as it was none of our business, and then you supported Igbos when they protested weeks after the fact for their own cause. Why didn't u come back from US to lead the protest among Igbos? BTW, what came out of that protest? I'm proud of the wise decision that Igbos took in not riskin their lives to join the hopeless protests. The reality in this country iz that protests doesn't move government. Rather it makes them to harden their position. Some opposition politicians decided to hijack the protest to advance their political agenda, and we refused to join in the mass hysteria. Didn't u see how the labour betrayed the masses by agreein to an unfavourable government terms. The protesters that died are gone and forgotten. Ogugua de wise wants his tribesmen to spill their blood to satisfy her fantasy. You are naive. ogugua88: I'm 100% Igbo and I'm proud of that fact. I am part of a committee for an Anambra association, as well as a Neni association in California.I've been a member of many committee. But I must confess that most of the women in my committee are not particularly active. They are just there to belong. ogugua88: However, I'm also Nigerian. It is possible to be Igbo and Nigerian at the same time believe it or not.Who iz denyin this fact? We only ask for just and eqitable country. We don't want to live in fear in our country. We want to be free to travel to any part of our country. We want to acquire and hold on to our property in any part of the country. We want the federal character system to be abolished. We also demand that meritocracy rules. |
@ Ogugua, A tortoise waz asked how many times he will fail before he learns. He replied 'zero'. His interviewer probed further by askin him 'why?'. He replied that he will learn from those that failed before him. I want to tell you that many people are more idealistic than u, but end up being frustrated and wasted by Nigeria. If you chose not to learn from your father's mistakes, then your children will learn from your mistakes. Nigeria is a burial ground for idealists and pragmatists. You are free to try ogugua88: You think standing united as one Nigeria is the equivalent of Igbo "disappearance, or total silence and subsumption under other groups in Nigeria"?You got it wrong my dear. Majority of Igbos prefer to live in a one, united, equitable Nigeria. But it's the opposite in reality. Our brotherz and sisterz are massacred by our fellow Nigerian by thousands every year. Our investments are not prtectected in Nigeria. Government policies is geared towards subjugatin us. So who iz underminin our unity? ogugua88: I'm appalled. Nigeria is a pot of different groups and tribes, each of which not being more or less important than the other. So, who are the supremacists? |
Onlytruth: I laugh sometimes when people get scared and think that we are some evil merchants and die hard secessionists.Kpomkwem! |
Onlytruth: People like you are what we call "Ndi ogba ka o data ego" - translated (because I can almost be certain that you cannot read Igbo ) it means those who would throw their clans, families and friends under the bus just to win the approval of others, or to appear "fair minded". If you were a man, you would be called something much worse (like efulefu, lol).Eze i ga adi o. ![]() |
Tobius tobius: If the virus can't replicate, it eventually dies out, doesn't it? I mean, it's not immortal. Maybe he could be a carrier if the virus is in his bloodstream at the point of contact with another person.Yes the virus diez out since it cannot enter the cell, which it uses as its stagin point for replication and perpetuation. I omitted that part deliberately. I'm glad u pointed that out. |
There iz nothin wrong with marryin a prostitute. Since she'z willin to drop her old profession and be a faithful and lovin wife. Besides prostitutes are more sophisticated than average girl on bed. Maximum satisfaction guarranteed. ![]() Exponental: challenges areFixed ![]() |

Tyche: Happy for the man. Hope others around the globe will benefit. No way! Bone marrow transplant iz pretty expensive procedure to perform. 90% of people living with HIV/AIDS might not afford it |
bright007: That man still gat Aids,ťĥĕ only difference is dat d stem cells he received have made him resistant to d effect of d disease. He can infect any other healthy person with it.Oh yes! You are right on point. He still got the virus but he can never develop AIDS. This iz possible because he lacks the surface receptor called CCR5 and CXR4 that are essential in the transportation of the virus into the cell. This iz a trait that he got from the bone marrow transplant. But the viruses are roamin free outside his cells. In essence, he'z a carrier. And such people are the reservoir of the virus. The virus iz incapable of mountin attack on him since it cannot enter hiz cell to couple and reinforce inorder to assault hiz system |
