ekt_bear: What on earth does this thread have to do with Igbos? What the hell does Anambra vs Abia thred has to do with Yoruba? ![]() ![]() Why do u always bleat like goat whenever we decide to pay u back in kind? ![]() |
Love Nwa nti nti Love Nwa nti nti Ije mu na love na ofoduru nwa nti nti Ije mu na love na ofoduru nwa nti nti 2x We'll miss your melodious voice Adieu |
Me_Aboki: ^^^LOL, no problem; but in the mean time while you are still enjoying Kainji power you guys must be ready pay us our 13% derivation.he he he Remember that Kainji dam is a hydro power source. In essence, can be listed as an offshore asset(since it's not located on land) . Therefore no one can lay claim to it as far we are in one country. ![]() Therefore, 13% derivation is debatable. ![]() |
Abagworo: Port Harcourt airport is there already, why the need for Enugu when Port Harcourt is easily accessible for most people?Haba! Why why talk like this now. What is wrong with Enugu having an International Airport. Let me rephrase your question. Why the need for Port Harcourt when Enugu is easily accessible for most people? ![]() |
NRI PRIEST: Chino nwanne, biko dont find what the Ezeigbo said to be offensive but as a way to prevent unnescessary animosity between brothers. You are a true son of your father and Anambra love you too just like you love her. I dont see anything wrong in defending your state but we must not forget that na "ofu onye sielu ora nni fa elisia ya mana ora sielu of onye oma elisi nni afu". Lets keep calm and act like we dont know how some people feel about us. I chose not to discuss somethings here just because of what people might say regarding my state of origin. Hapu fa maka na ubosi nta ayi ga achu na owelle nchi.May God bless the womb that nourished you for 9months for this good-natured advice. ![]() |
Me_Aboki: Kai, see how some people are enjoying oo: To best of my knowledge no area in my state (Kano) enjoys 18 hours of power; in consequence most of our factories and industries have been forced to close down. In my area (also in the G.R.A.)we are lucky to have 1-3 hours every two other days or so, our light bulbs serve only as decorations but for the few of us who can still afford fuel for our generators, in fact my car boot is perpetually laden-ed with fuel jerrycans. No probs bro, remeber that we have the option of coal(remember Coal City) and hydro(remember that river Niger flows through our region too). Besides we have a sizeable deposits of natural gas in some southeastern states. So we can easily switch source. ![]() Don't shout marginalisation yet because it's only some parts of Enugu that enjoys that prolonged hour of power supply. It's a diffrent story in some other parts. Moreover the power situation is very bad in southeast in general. If you doubt me, seek for the opinion of Onitsha, Aba or Umuahia residents |
jbaur24: oI thought that you are from Akwa Ibom? Then, why are u poking nose into another states affair? Are u done solving the problems in your state? OR are u one of those with online multiple personality disorder? Abeg face your front joor. No swallow panadol for our migraine. |
Nnenna1: Chino and Roadstar please if u're also going to join in this sleazefest keep Anambra folks out of it and restrict the comparisons to yourselves/families.Nwa Ada daalu! Ejine, Abagworo, and others should bear in mind that Chino does not speak for us Anambrarians. We condemn and disown his unguarded utterances. He's completely on his own, and any attack should be directed at him |
afam4eva: @RoadstarWord ![]() Respect is a two-way street, if you want to get it, you've got to give it. |
afam4eva: I don't stay in Enugu. What i meant is that i'm from Uwani area.ok |
Good to know that some of my favourite posters like Afam4Eva, OneNaira, Bashr stays in Enugu. I thought that I'm lonely here. My area in GRA used to have light for 18hrs of the day. But since the Kainji dam issues came up, it has dropped to 8hrs of the day. The most painful one is the prolonged power outage in the night. Especially now that the weather is so hot. It's been a regular occurence for 1week running. |
Ejiné: this is a state that doesn't even have an airport; doesn't even have a reputable state university (ANSU is a freaking midget when compared to ABSU); doesn't even have a reputable federal university (UniZik is an artisan kiosk when pitted against Imo's FUTO or Enugu's UNN); this is a state that ranks to nothing when it comes to Polytechnics (Imo's Poly Nekede scatters it);Oh God! When will my brothers be wise? ![]() You are quoting a reknowned yoruba tribalist. This comparison wont get us anywhere. What do u stand to gain in this debate? SMDH |
FACE: I posted aerial views of the industrial layouts a while ago so I will not post them againYou and Abagworo were able to provide th satelite picture of Aba. Why can't u provide the satelite picture of Onitsha and its environs too. But pls we don't want to enter this debate that you guys are dragging us to. Brothers, Y-O-U W-O-N-T L-I-K-E I-T-S O-U-T-C-O-M-E! All of us will lose. I've been pleading with Abagworo to stop these childish comparison. But he wont listen. Till Okija_juju gave him a serious beat down. Now he wants to push his luck further here. BTW, both cities are unique Igbo cities that are the livewires of both states. It will be a mistake if we tear down those cities in a bid to win an online debate. I'm proud of the resilience of the people that makes those cities thick |
emindu: abia state is more better than anambra state. in terms of development and good roads. ![]() |
Abagworo: An intelligent man does not brag even if he actually does have an edge but empty barrels make the loudest noise. Notice that I have used only facts and not assertions in my arguments and I am yet to steep so low to the level of addressing individuals negatively. Kindly show us information that will prove that Anambra is ahead of Abia and stop attacking my personality.Dude, you are the one bragging here. You have already bragged in Awka thread that you have amassed $3M in your 29yrs sojourn on earth(supporting the inferiority complex theory of Nri Priest and Chino). We choose not to engage you so as not to hurt the feeling of our Imo and Abia brethrens. But you misunderstood it as a sign that we have no evidence to support our assertions. Well, we'll continue to hold fire, 'cause we can't cut of the neck because of the sins of the ear. |
ekt_bear: What nefariousness can there be from one learning that Aba and Abia are not as insignificant as some make it seem?Pls can you quote any Igbo poster that mentioned overtly or covertly that Aba is insignificant OR you forever SHUT UP! |
Okija_juju: BULLSHIT!!he he he This is exactly what I've been avoiding. Exactly why I've been pleading with Abagworo to rest this issue. |
RoadStar: I am not into the game of comparing states but Anambra needs to live up to expectations.I agree with you 100%. But it seems like the OP is stretching it further by attempting to downgrade the economic importance of Onitsha and supplant it with Aba. Truely, Peter Obi is performing below expectation. But bear in mind that he is not the worst performing governor in southeast. Just like many Anambrarians, I'm disappointed that Peter Obi was still occupying that seat after the last election. So we hope to hit him hard in the eye just like we did during the Anambra-North senatorial contest between Dora and Ngige. |
Abagworo: I will like to know on what grounds Onitsha is 5 times Aba because from google earth, Aba seems much bigger. Available info shows there are more multi national companies in Aba, more SMEs, more IGR and even more cottage industries.Onitsha market is more than 5x bigger than Ariaria market. Onitsha market comprises of Main market, Head bridge, Upper Iweka market, Awada spare parts market, Iweka Rd. electrical and electronics market, etc. Due to congestion, the market has expanded to Nkpor(motor spare parts), Ogidi(building materials and bakery), Oba(electricals), Obosi(motor spare parts). Therefore business activity in Onitsha is not solely concentrated in main market unlike Ariaria market. |
bittyend: @chino11I think that Abagworo deserves such treatment |
Mr. Globe:True talk ![]() |
Da infamous: good talk the thing is that these people don't no anambra state very well,do you know that anambra state is the only state that you will never see huts and mud houses unlike some states in SE and other regions they all still got huts etc.Anambra is well organised full of potentials too many young and old self made millionaires and billionaires most of the infrastructure in anambra were build by individuals onitsha is one of the richest city in SE/Nigeria main market onitsha is the biggest in Africa so why comparing the twoI would have joined the bandwagon. But I gains nothing by pulling down my fellow Igbo town or state. As I mentioned earlier, the intention of the OP in starting this thread is malicious. The facts are there online. Just google them. Abagworo got so frustrated with the paucity of the replies to his thread that he resorted to calling Onitsha businessmen 'petty traders'. In an effort to rile us and extract an angry response from us. The best that we can do here is to ignore this thread. As for Peter Obi, we'll tackle his f/u//ck up in 2014. Enough said. |
Mr. Globe:This is one of the reasons why I want everybody to hold fire until 2014 |
joeisreal: MOST FEMALE SECONDARY SCHOOL IN ANAMBRA HAS A FUNCTIONAL BOREHOLE WITH GENERATING SET COURTESY OF PETER OBI SO AS TO REDUCE RISK OF RAPE FOR FEMALE BOARDERS WHO GO TO FETCH WATER FROM THE SURROUNDINGS EARLY IN THE MORNING. THIS TO ME IS A WELCOME DEVELOPMENT. ![]() joeisreal: SECONDARY SCHOOL HAS A COMPUTER LABORATORY WITH OVER 30 FUNCTIONAL PC'S ALL CONNECTED TO THE INTERNET THAT IS EVEN OPEN TO VILLAGERS TO COME AND USE FOR A TOKEN. ![]() Are u posting from Peter Obi's cybercafe? ![]() Chei! I can't wait for 2014 to start this debate. joeisreal: IT'S A RARE PRIVILEGE. ANAMBRA STATE IS THE FIRST STATE TO EMPLOY 1000 COMPUTER TEACHERShe he he |
manchy7531: "TheBro, this your quote na die. you have effectively summarized and closed this slow thread with that quote |
RoadStar: Let Anambrains say the truth, Obi is getting away with murder.Ol boy! Relax. . . We'll debate this issue exhaustively during 2014 political season. We are aware of all these issues you raised. Cursing each other and inflaming emotions here is not the best course of action. Let's debate this issue in 2014 and channel our desire for change appropriately. |
freecocoa: So you call picking pockets at the slightest chance, smoking igbo, drinking recklessly, womanizing, inability to make one complete and correct sentence in english,no zeal for education, spending money with reckless abandon, teenage pregnancy etc being wise?hmm i must be missing something.Did u say whaaat?! Really u are missing something. Onitsha boasts of DMGS, CKC, Saint Charles Special Science School, QRC etc. I've never lived in academics conscious city as Onitsha. Apart from business, Onitsha is also the powerhouse learning in Anambra. Students that did their primary and secondary education at Onitsha, on average are above their counterparts from other parts of country(visit the top tiers universities in the east and the country to confirm this). Your comment shows that u have a warped outlook of Onitsha. Onitsha is not all about business. It also leads in academics(think of Chike Obi, Emeagwalis, Ikpeazus, etc). I will advise you to enrol your kids in schools at Onitsha during their primary and secondary school level. Your children will be grateful to u for your wise decision when they enters university |
The aim of this thread has been defeated. I can see Yoruba posters like Eko ile, Ekiti beer, Alj harem, Shymmex etc lurking around and waiting for Igbos to fight among themselves. Guess what?! It did not happen(much to their disappointment). Chino ignored the thread. Major Igbo posters ignored the thread too. The ones that did post did not play to Abagworo's concealed game plan. At this juncture, I want to ask Abagworo a question. Do u enjoy watching Igbos fight themselves, all in the name of healthy competition? Also, Onitsha was totally unrecognisable to me from the photo u posted above. Nothing could explain your intention in this thread except mischief. Finally, let me reiterate the modified excerpt from Onlytruth's comment. . . Onlytruth: IGBOS |
