slimghost: Do you know how hard it was for Ngige to win Akunyili with all his overrated popularity? Nggige required a run off just to defeat Akunyili and you still think Obi is not powerful? Well I know much about Anambra politics my brother and I can boldly tell you that Peter is so powerful down there. Go ask Chris Anyanwu, a senator from Imo state. You must be observing Anambra politics from the moon. Prior to the run-off, Dora was leading Ngige by 500 votes. After the run-off, Ngige led Dora by 3000 votes. During the run-off, Ngige won in some counties that were initially called for Dora, but later cancelled after the allegation of electoral malpractices. If not for the effort of Peter Obi's rigging machine, Ngige would have totally disgraced Dora in that election. Who said that Dora was an underdog in that election? Dora with her national pedigree should have made the election a formality, but alas! she was disgraced by a local champion in the person of Ngige. |
slimghost: Nwanne biko kwusi that nonsense! What makes him a retard? I think he made some valid points except the Anambra North BS. People tend to underestimate Peter Obi's power but the fact on ground shows that the man is the godfather of Anambra politics right about now and will have a big say on who succeeds him.Someone that could not influence the outcome of election in his senatorial zone. You guys are buncha jokers. |
Time to laugh. . . ![]() This thread is about a prostitute dragging money with her client. The video is f'uckin hilarious and should be posted to the frontpage. https://www.nairaland.com/1270890/ashawo-client-big-fight |
asha 80: more like halt in infrastructural development in urban centers of onitsha, nnewi and awka and not rural areas.Halt in infrastructural development in the 3 nerve centers of Anambra is like driving a poisoned dagger through our heart. |
chino11: No not all. The point am trying to make is that the fact that Andy is from same town as me does not stick to his candidacy. From all indiction he will equally make a good gov. But Akunyili and Soludo remains top on my list, but if anything happens that they could not make it then Andy is another bright choice to take up the torch. Why is it difficult for you guys to understand that Andy is a man of dubious character? The same man who engineered the kidnap of a serving governor; made Anambra ungovernable; tendered a fake doctorate degree; declared an asset of trillion naira; signed many white elephant projects days into his office. Now tell me the business that Andy has engaged in the past decade? Does leopard change his spots? We can never progress if we keep recyling these retrogressive elements from the past. It is an insult to the sensibility of Anambrarians to suggest Andy for that job. |
berem: you are right! what matters is the candidate and not the party. Ngige has done it before and can still do it again. I don't see how Tinubu and co can control the affairs of Anambra state if Ngige is elected under APC. But it's better he remains a Senator anyway. No way! Ngige has done it before and he can still do it again. We need someone of his kind to halt the present decline in infrastructural development in Anambra, then place us on the path of progress. I will go with the "tried, tested and trusted". He can't remain wasted in the senate. He can't! |
chino11: You don't know who is tinubu. He has used his cult to charm all the A C N govs, so Ngige will not be an exception. All the A C N govs are paying billions into tinubu acct every month, giving him juicy contracts. We are afraid Ngige could mortgage Anambra to the evil called tinubuWith all due respect, I disagree with your comment. Why is he not in Tinubu's bag now that he is a senator under Tinubu's party? This sounds like a beer parlour gist. There is no iota of evidence to back those wild claims. Tinubu wields so much influence in the west and it stops there. His influence does not even extend to Edo, let alone Anambra, and can never be. |
chino11: Ngige (not under yeroba and aboki party)But he has proven time and again that he can be in pro-Yoruba party and still be staunchly pro-Igbo. These other folks are in so-called pro-Igbo parties, but goes around engaging in anti-Igbo activities. |
chino11: God forbid we don't want unlettered people like Ifeanyi to come close to the Zik's Place(govt house Awka). Anambra has the best and brightest so we should not settle for mediocre and money bag as Ifeanyi.I think that the two bolded are in conflict. Maybe you have some secret info on Andy Uba that qualifies him to be placed in the category of the "best and brightest". Can you share with us? |

berem: Is he? never heard of that. Business wise, is he as rich as Ifeanyi Uba?He may be richer. Do you know how many companies that Peter Obi owns? Let alone his shares in other companies. He is one of the most under-valued billionaires in Anambra. He likes it that way cos it gives him an underdog outlook. |
berem: So Peter Obi has never been the Messiah Anambra State needs? Something is definitely wrong.Who is Peter Obi? A businesswoman? |
ndu_chucks: ACM10, nkuku nwanne amalomye, you appear to be a dullard from your post above. Who are "my people" who stand to benefit from this non existent Igbo-Yoruba feud? You small boys can blow yourselves to smithereens online, if you wish, but be advice that JTF will be waiting for you when you take your foolery to the streets. doloWill you shut up if got nothing to say! Do I sound like a toddler to you? I chere na mu amaghi ife ana aru? Initially, you were supportive of Ikenna when he was dishing out ban to the top Igbo posters here. But later turned against him when you realized that his actions are not in tandem with your long term interest of preventing unity between the two tribes, hence you started to throw spanner into his wheel of progress by pointing to obnoxious rules to regulate his work and thereby making it difficult. On other hand, you introduced the concept of senior mod. Tell me if such concept has ever existed on NL? You try to play politics by indirectly telling Ikenna that he is answerable to OAM4J. Bros chill, I'm well aware of your game plan. You can't teach an old dog new trick. |
ndu_chucks: Dede1, according to the senior moderator, OAM4J, you have done nothing wrong. I reproduce OAM4J's post after a long discussion in a thread which included contributions from all of us, Seun, OAM4J, and others. This Ikenna352 cannot willy nilly change rules, we are not his children here. You'd be glad to see Igbo-Yoruba feud continue ad infinitum. . .wont you? That's why you pop up every now and then to inflame the hatred. Cos your people stands to benefit. . .huh? |
OAM4J: One and only Ileke-idi. Will soon compile all her monikers and banned them leaving only one.Is this supposed to be on this thread? Can you agree with me that you are turning this thread into your private domain where you treat your fellow mods with disrespect and intimidate them? Determine what should be visible here or not. Can you smell the air of hypocrisy around you? |
laani: I feel sorry for you. People like you go around with dirty mouth wasting opportunity. So all you do is to judge people by the type of cloth and market they patronizeNo! I've known him since his days as a moderator here. I'm well aware of his antecedents. |
StateOfMind: I bet he'd never want to meet someone as shallow as you are In person either.Buzz off! You don't know me. You must be talking about yourself. |
ZUBY77: Ok, have them.Bro, it seems you are going round Europe banging exotic chics. . .is time not right to settle with one? ![]() |

Dress sense - ZERO You must be patronizing second-hand cloth dealers. Now I know why folks like you cherish their online importance. Truly, I will be disappointed if I meets you in person. |

olawalebabs: The mods should look into PointB signature, since he can't provide any source for it. The signature promotes hatred toward a part of the country. Ikenna, that falls under your office. He was quoted by Parrot Newspaper on October 12, 1960 https://www.nairaland.com/444063/whats-implication-sir-ahmadu-bellos https://www.nairaland.com/980870/ahmadu-bello-southerners-shall-never http://nigeriavillagesquare.com/articles/remi-oyeyemi/jonathan-goodluck-vice-president-in-uthman-dan-fodios-estate.html |
