Don't mind this girl ooooo.
Do you know how many schools both in UK and Canada she has claimed to receive admission from in the past 2 months?
Just in the beginning of this month, she came here and said she also needed to pay her deposit and everyone suggested different means for her to use.
I really don't know what's up her sleeve.
Hahaha I checked her profile and noticed that too, I was like na every school dy give you admission and you never pick one since January

Please I just got an offer at Humber college, and was asked to pay before May17th but there's no link to pay. Does anyone have Humber admission? how did you do your payment please. They didn't even state exact amount for first semester for me to pay as they stipulated.
Someone should help me out please.
Secondly, which bank can be faster with form A to meet up with this deadline? also can I ask for extension of fee deadline? Someone with experience should suggest for me. Thanks.
Congratulations on your admission.

Not related to what you asked but how many weeks: months did it take to get an admission decision from humber college after applying ?

Hi guys, I got a refusal today for insufficient fund even though we paid 4750 out of 10, 750 one year tuition program.

She also have 7.5million in her account ( ~cad22000), does it make sense to get refusal based on insufficient fund since she will only need 6000+10000 = cad 16000
Sorry for your refusal you will definitely pull through again in no time.
How many years is the program you applied for ?

Why don't you wait for the Letter for your Biometric. Then for your Medical, you can book IOM down to a date within 2weeks, the IRCC are fast in response presently and so will get back to u if all your documents are fine and u had submitted a very well compose SOP. It's better to work with their response. Both Biometric and Medical will be updated by VFS and IOM or Qlife respectively. Same day for VFS Biometric and Medical 3 to 7days depending on the respective centers

It's way better that way.
Congratulation to you and your household

For those knowledgeable about mpower loan. Pls pardon my ignorance: I have one stupid question On behalf of my twin sister
* if someone applies for mpower loan for visa purposes and after visa approval she doesn’t use the loan. (She just ghosts them) and she pays her school fees out of pocket.
1) is it doable? 2) is it allowed 3) are there any monetary consequences?
So you need answers too, I guess you should just keep the questions to yourself.

Well Mpower loan only start counting once the payment is disturbed depends on the school payment policy. But any particular amount disbursed has to be paid back and you can also repay everything anytime you want

Congratulations to y’all that got ppr recently. Please I need to ask. Are y’all for Fall 2023? Is it too early to apply towards Winter 2024?
Winter puts you at a high chance of gaining admission and enough time for Visa application. But you can also shoot your shot for fall if the school intake is still opened.

Coupled with the whole Delays experienced from IRCC, honestly 11 days is almost unbelievable so don’t take it to heart. It’s only right for the PPR owner to share his/her timeline so other people can get motivated. If he has gotten from this platform then he owes the platform at least his timeline.

Good Morning everyone. I was served another refusal again yesterday for the second time.

Reasons for both refusals: Insufficient assets and financial situation.

My program is a diploma in Public Admin (CBU) and doesn’t require tuition deposits.
Tuition is $18,518 CAD per year

I used proof of funds of N14.4 M in my account.
It was MBS with inflow of N75M and outflow of N61M.
Of course I wrote reasons for lump sums in my account.
My landed properties worth N152M. I submitted notarized Deeds of Assignments for my landed properties and also submitted valuation certificate for them.

I wrote my SOP by myself and applied by myself in these two applications.

Please I need help, I want to know what I am not doing right. Please help me. @makano @bullstriker @justmellows
So sorry about the refusal. Please order your GCMS notes to see exactly the concerns of the visa officer.

Yes I have ND,3.17Cgpa. I know but my program is 2years.
I did advanced direct entry, so am resuming 2nd year of a 3yr program, but university of Manitoba changed it to 4years,they claim international students have a hard time reapplying for visa something like tat sha.
Technically that becomes a 3 yr program you are going for and Mpower can’t finance that. Try look into other universities or try go for a 1 year Diploma program that your money can afford

What’s your academic background like.
Have you completed your undergraduate? If yes what’s your grade.
If No, are you planning on going for a direct entry ? But mind you Mpower can only finance a 2 year program or when your program is remaining 2 year to completion you can apply for it.

Just my view before the gurus come in

Hello house! Please kindly help! I'm applying for a Master in Engineering, I have a 2-2 in my undergraduate and a Masters degree but I want to apply for masters in another field so that I can get a chance of getting the admission. Please what is my chance of getting admitted into Canadian university and also passing the Visa processing. Since it a Masters in another field of engineering. Thanks
I’m also a masters in Engineering applicant, some schools require you to have a minimum of 70-75% in your last 2years of study or in your last 60 units. So kindly check your transcript and do your calculations before applying

All my work experience and relevant skills are tied to Human Resources, worked in a government office for than a year and gain skills and knowledge in the human resource department which brought me to this point. That’s why I decided to apply for a human resource post graduate diploma. I got fund of it and loved it, it was something I enjoyed and wanted to keep doing
That’s great. You can also check other colleges and apply to multiple schools to increase your chances. Review their admissions requirements before applying so you don’t waste application fees.

I applied to college of New Caledonia
My CGPA is a 2.46 which is a third class
And I studied Law and applied for a post graduate course in HR
I guess you should first check the requirements of the program you are applying first. Check if you meet the minimum admission requirements.

Generally, most graduate diploma programs require applicants to have completed a bachelor's degree or equivalent with a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.5 or higher (on a 4.0 scale).

since you have a third class CGPA, which is typically considered to be between 1.5 and 2.0 on a 4.0 scale, you may not meet the minimum GPA requirement for admission to a graduate diploma program in a Canadian college. However, some institutions may consider other factors such as work experience, relevant skills and qualifications, and strong letters of recommendation when making admission decisions so it’s best to apply to programs that a directly related to your undergraduate study then when you get to canada you can consider switching to your dream career.

Good evening all.
Please I need your help urgently
I have a CGPA of 2.46 and I recently applied to a college in Canada for a post graduate course and I got rejected cause of my low grades.
Truth be told what I’m after is different from what I studied and I had no passion there and finally there is an opportunity for me to do what I want and have interest in
Please any advice or what to do or suggestions on schools that I can apply to and might accept me even with the low CGPA
Thank you
Okay .

Your CGPA is on a scale of what ?
What course did you studied in your undergraduate and what course are you applying for ?
What college did you applied to ?

Please for POF coming from sponsor (mother) does she have to pay the money into my account or just provide her account statement. Secondly if have to pay it into my account, can she do it by installment or pay in the total amount once? Please I really need answer
She can send only your first year upkeep into your own account. You only need to explain in LOE that she has sent in money for your first year upkeep. You can then leave the rest money in her account.

wait for others opinion too

PLEASE Gurus in the house please help me
My husband graduated with HND with Upper credit and did his post graduates diploma (PGD) and he also have Masters in financial Management (MBA) at ladoke Akintola university of Technology Ogbomosho, does it mean with this certificates he is not qualified to apply for Msc in a Canadian University? Or should we just focus in colleges alone. Please i need your answers before is too late for us.
Also can we also use a CBN registered Microfinance bank for Proof of funds?
Gurus in the house, I will appreciate your contributions.
God bless you
Focus on college!! Canadian universities typically require a bachelor's degree or its equivalent for admission to a master's program. In Canada, a bachelor's degree typically requires four years of study. A Higher National Diploma (HND) and a Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) are generally considered to be at a level lower than a bachelor's degree.

some universities in Canada may consider applicants with HND and PGD qualifications for admission to a master's program, provided that they meet additional requirements such as relevant work experience, additional coursework, or standardized test scores (such as the GRE or GMAT).

It is advisable to check with the specific university and program you are interested in to determine their specific eligibility criteria for admission to a master's program. You can also send a mail to your school to confirm your eligibility.

This is a very expensive School.
So out of the $60,900, you’ve paid about 10k. So you need to show pof of 50k+Miscellaneous of at least 6k

So yes if you can get pof of 60k, you should be good to go. That’ll be around 30M.

And you don’t really need to have all this amount of Money.

If you can get someone who has this money in their account, you can use the person as your sponsor, then try to show proof of relationship between you and the person.

Then attach that with the Money you have in your own account or your brother’s.
No the calculation isn’t accurate, it’s about 20M

Wow!
My tuition fee for the duration of the 2 years study is $20,900+$20,000 that's $40,900. And the living expenses should be a minimum of $20,000 for two years. So if I get you correctly, I should fill the form thus:
Tuition = $40,900
Room and board = $20,000
Other=
Funds available for my stay = at least $60,900

If this is the case, I may defer my application as I don't have this sum ($60,900) in my bank account.
which school did you applied to ?
