Tuition bal 9,000
Living expenses and miscellaneous 14,000
Total = 23k.
In naira = 13.6 million. So it wudnt be enough.
Please what rate did you use. ?

It's a year program, and balance of tuition fee is 9k CAD. Total tuition fee is 19k CAD

It’s well oo. Your funds looks sufficient even with the current IRCC rate.
10k cad 1yr living + 9k tuition bal = that’s like 11M
You still have extra 2.5M which can go for miscellaneous.

Well let’s wait for your GCMS notes

Good evening my people,

I am writing to get some clarification over my application please. As at when I submitted my application, my POF was #13,500,000 and that was in the month of May. However, this excludes the first semester tuition fee of 9k CAD payment that I already made before requesting for my POF. So, I'm trying to know if this POF is still good considering the sudden change in the Naira rate?

Secondly, I'm trying to know if one's mother's age in second application is different from the one in First application on the Family Information Form, does that pose any serious issue pls?

Please, Professionals in the house, kindly respond to me.

Many thanks in advance.

you need to provide more information:
How many year program are you going for ?
How much is the total cost of your tuition fees ?

Good evening everyone
Please my second application just got refused under one week. First application refusal was as a result of the sudden increase in exchange rate. I added more funds and reapplied within a week, but unfortunately I was refused again under a week.
Now my problem is the POF, because I actually run it, and the one month will soon expire nd I need to return the money.
Please I need advice on what to do because I plan to apply again after some time, but my main issue now is how to go about this POF. Please I will need your advice on this.

@bobomaigida

So sorry about your refusal, did you order your gcms notes earlier ?

She mentioned that her bank statement balance is 23 million. She paid 12,000 as school fees, but the person who wrote the Statement of Purpose (SOP) made a mistake and wrote 14,000. She wants to rewrite her SOP to address this.

Someone adviced her to address these concerns immediately by submitting a revised SOP. In the revised SOP, she can provide a comprehensive overview of her financial situation. She can explain that the educational institution she applied to, Conestoga College, requested the payment of the first semester tuition fee, which is CAD 9,000. However, she mistakenly mentioned in her previous SOP that she paid CAD 14,000 instead of the correct amount of CAD 12,000.

She can clarify that this discrepancy occurred because Conestoga College issued a receipt of CAD 2,000, which she paid on January 1st. Subsequently, she made an additional payment of CAD 10,000 on March 2nd and received another receipt totaling CAD 12,000. She should apologize for any confusion caused by this error and assure the VO that she has the necessary funds to cover the remaining balance of the tuition fees....her balance in her account is 23m with good inflow and outflow

Please from the screenshot, it looks like her biometrics wasn’t updated. Did she do biometrics?

Just for the best preparation and planning mode, what are the precise documents that would be required of me to take along for biometrics?

Printed copies of:
Your biometrics letter from your portal
international passport
And your appointment date

Pls can I go for a master's degree with second class lower. Actually 3.39/5

Secondly are there universities/colleges in Canada without application fees

Your chances are slim to get into a university for a masters program but to can try. However colleges will accept you with full chest. Seneca college always offer application fee waiver you can look into that.

Thanks for the response sir, my budget is not much , I prefer a 1 year program

That’s straight forward just look for college who has programs that align with your interest. Your profile looks strong and you stand a high chance of getting accepted into any college.

Firstly, why graduate diploma and not Masters since you graduated with second class upper.

Secondly you don’t need to complete NYSC before you can gain admission to any institution in canada.

Hello guys,

I am planning on submitting my study visa application by Monday (10th July, 2023) and I am hopeful to get biometric request soon.
I want to ask, do I need a passport photograph as a requirement for getting biometrics done?

Your answers will help me with my planning as I do not reside in Lagos. Thanks

You will get biometric request same day or the next day of application.
You don’t need passport photographs but you need your international passport

This was actually why I added my sister as well because I felt leaving it out was material. I had also done research on caselaw (in situations where visa was rejected based on strong ties) regarding listing a sibling in an application for study permit and judges had in all instances ruled that ties in canada should not be used as a negative evaluation factor. I also wrote a strong SOP as well given that I was a frontline covid healthcare worker the intended course was to build on that.

Why did you even mention she is in canada. You could have just said your sister will be sponsoring you and you have attached a proof of your relationship along ise with her bank statement, payslips and employment letter.

Thanks for the info. Problem no dey finish lol. Please can someone give me the best advise, I currently have available balance of 7m in my acct and that is the balance I have been maintaining since January till date, but the cash flow is about 13m between February and April so far. I understand I have to explain every lump sum deposited sure, but now I’m expecting 7m to be deposited into my acct from a property I’m about to sell some times next week or so, and my school resumption date is July 31th, do u think it will make any sense if I print my bank statement after a week of the 7m deposits and submit my application ? Or I do need to wait for months and defer my admission. And I have open balance of 7kcad to pay to the school as I have paid some deposit. My main concern is, how long do u think I should submit my application after the expected 7m has been credited to my acct. I’m thinking maybe I should go ahead and submit the application after a week the money is been deposited and I will back it up with all evidence of sales of the property in my SOP, just my thought though. I will appreciate best advise, thank you all gurus and enjoy ur Sunday.

You already said it all, but alternatively you can also choose to bring the money in inform of a gift deed. The money gets to your family members acct first then it’s sent back to your account as a gift deed.

Additionally, the 7M can be deposited and then you print the bank statement the following month so the 7M can reflect in the opening balance. I don’t think there is any best time to print bank statement, the most important thing to be able to explain every lumps sum and also have the expected POF available.

My opinion tho. You can still wait for other’s response

Please gurus in the house I need all the help I can get, and if there is any good agent you can refer to me I'll appreciate I thought I did everything I'm supposed to do, application was done in the uk. I got refused yesterday for the following reasons

My view, Since you don’t have strong home ties in Uk you have to come back to Nigeria to re apply.

But still wait for others to respond

I think calling someone or a firm fake without proper research is a very discourteous statement. You can easily verify a firm or person authorized to represent clients in Immigration matters. To verify firms authorized by CICC, go to https://college-ic.ca/protecting-the-public/find-an-immigration-consultant. This is my response to calling me fake.

In response to @Shalomshalom's post, @ActivatedDreams posted that 11 days is almost unbelievable to get a study permit. I replied that someone could get a study permit approved in such a short period. I have never interacted with @ShalomShalom in whatsoever manner. Learn to respond to comments without being disrespectful or making unreasonable conclusions.

I never said it’s unbelievable I only said if you are coming here to celebrate your PPR atleast give us the full gist and not half baked so everyone can see too. And perhaps I have seen 10 days here afterwards
