Don't know about dancers, but I had worked in movie industry in late 90s.. From my exprience, most girls without major speaking role were either sleeping or trying to sleep with PAs and production crew, but girls with major speaking roles weren't sleeping around just like popular female actresses were respected in the industry. Earlier in the day she told her readers that she's been trying to get a domain name but the internet squatters have hijacked most of the likely name she cud use. She was stealing other people's works- like articles and photos and posting them on her site without their consent. She was drawing traffic to her site and charging advertisers for that and Google was also paying her.
If Google didn't take here down, it would be opening itself up for lawsuit as accomplice.

You can converge in house, but taking up public space like road is a violence of equal public access use. Littering of street and dumping trash on the road by congregants is a health hazard. Noise pollution is also health hazard. This is another catastrophe waiting to happen.

What stops the govt from constructing good roads, have another road linking Lagos or even build a by-pass or over head bridge through that camp? Do you know there are foreigners who attend these camps and its a form of tourism, synagogue comes to mind. Instead of demanding our govt to trample on OUR rights, lets ask them to make our roads, infrastructures, economy, standard of living, etc better.

There is no absolute right. Your rights don't have to trample mine. That camp causes heavy traffic, thereby infringing on my right to freedom of movement. It also causes loss of economic activity, thereby depriving some folks right to earn a livelihood. It cause noise pollution and poses some health hazard.
It's time to stipulate health and environmental standards for these ministries given what happened at TB Joshua's synagogue

GreatFatherson: Are there no engineers on Nairaland to educate ignorant folks here that hydro power plants cost much more than fossil fuel power plants because dams are massive civil engineering undertakings. However hydro power plants remain very attractive because the raw material (water) is completely free and these plants have by far the longest useful life span of any type of power plant (up to 100 years vs 30 years for the very best steam turbine power stations and 20 years for gas turbines.)

GEJ basically doubled the capacity of all the gas power stations started by OBJ and completed by GEJ such as Omotosho, Geregu etc by turning them into highly efficient combined cycle (gas and steam) power stations.

For the folks that are talking about power transmission projects, dozens are ongoing both in NIPP and TCN. Many are awarded every year and smart local and foreign contractors are hard at work building these substations and transmission lines and smiling to the bank while some folks are here on Nairaland talking ignorantly.

It is painful that many of these projects have been delayed almost endlessly by outrageous compensation demands by indigenous groups who keep on planting cashew crops the moment they hear that the government wants to build transmission lines or substations in their towns and villages even in virgin forests. They then turn round to demand N5k for each crop that is hardly 6 inches tall under the guise of economic trees.

Yes corruption is a big problem in our dear country and it must be fought much more decisively. Unfortunately the opposition is even more corrupt than the ruling party. If not, why do we have somebody affectionately called Thie^f^nubu. And what happened to the dollars Farouk stuffed into his cap. What did our Speaker do about it. And this is the guy that wants to be our president.

The opposition have every right to try to get into Aso Rock but it should not be done through bloodshed, intimidation, blatant lies, white lies, abuse and silly students as e-warriors.

Keep blaming land owners. 1977 Land Tenure Act empowers the govt as the owner of land and therefore has right of way. Govts can also invoke princinple of public policy. The govt can pay market value compensation to land owners not VGC prices on a piece of property located in a jungle.
