They missed 3-arm Zone in Abuja where politicians and their cronies converge to share national treasury. |
One of the heavily indebted governors talking about accountability, I'd be skeptical. |
bloggernaija: Go to google map and view a picture of Lagos from space. What an arrogant display of idiocy. Why use google map( unreal and imaginary) to prove real and pictorial facts on ground? |
Ada Nri1: There are more.Would u also agree that your people are wrong sometimes? If his mom is bad, do u also know that he sees ur mom as a bad person? |
Afam4eva: I know Emeka Offor but i've never heard of Arthur Eze. Since these two men the last time i checked were not listed by forbes then there's really no way we can know who's richer. Not that forbes is even accurate sef but that should have helped. Then u have not checked enough. Arthur sold a couple of oil blocks in Liberia, EG and Saotome Principe and pocketed about $200m according to Forbes. |
The moral of this story is that the Lawmaker's kids empathised with fellow pupils; they have a sense of compassion, equity, fairness and love for the fellow kids. So kids get it better but adults don't. |
ngozievergreen: Chime used to be a top barrister in town nah.Tha name of law chambers? Same way Chimaroke was an accomplished medical doctor in the US even though he couldn't afford to build a house in Enugu? |
No wonder the strike will never end... |
Chamackh: Not holding brief for the governor about stealing enuguites money, but note that Sulivan is from a very wealthy home, so with or without stealing from Enuguites, his kids can go to any university in the world to study. Let's always try and research first before shouting. Though not holding brief whether he is stealing from his state. What was Chime doing before he became a govt appointee? |
As if it's a big achievement with stolen money? |
Love_Decay: I get am before no be property..... Kai, i wonder what ibo feel when they read this... of all places luxurious France - the home of legal mistresses.... ha ..... so mallam go teach oyinbo economics... chei ..... oga Sanusi... enjoy your holiday.....In this case, Naija mentality or jargon doesn't apply. Since u didn't get the memo" it's called "experience". Na who get am before get am pass. |
mikeapollo: This is what I like this SLS for....he has a mind of his own. He is not like some other CBN governors that would be running after a PDP political thug in Anambra state and be so desperate to rig the primaries of PDP, then jump from PDP to APGA.....like a deperado looking for power and money at all cost! You are really ignorant! Soludo had been a a visiting professor at Swarthmore College, Cambridge and Oxford before he became a CBN governor. |
Crimal intent, Life insurance, bitter divorce, Sounds like a CIS Miami episode |
Maybe they are high maintenance.. |
GBELLs: The exchange rate today is http://www.xe.com/currencyconverter/convert/?Amount=1&From=USD&To=NGN so could u tell me where this appreciation of the dollar to naira is.You don't know how exchange works in Naija. Banks pay N158 to $1 to western union customers, but when u want to buy $, the banks will tell that they don't have $ to sell and ask u to go their buddy BDC to buy N170/$1 to fund your Dom account. This is the problem we have in Naija; folks with no practical experience running things. |
helpee: my friend u are spewing rubbish. Healthcare is very expensive. U get what u paid for. If the american system is that fantastic...why did they all die there? So u mean with all the billions of dollars americans invest on healthcare they couldn't save maryam babangida and u want nigerian doctors to perform miracle with nothing. It is not a dream. It is reality. Inject money in2 healthcare and doctors become miracle workers." Become" = hoping/dreaming, but for now , let's look it the way IT IS not the way it could have become. Got it? Get it? IBB chose where world class care is available unlike in Naija.. Cost is nothing to IBB; he can afford any hospital in this world, why dint he choose Naija hospitals? |
BekeeBuAgbara: Guy, you are contradicting yourself. Learn how to argue.Explaining logic 101 to u. Why did all those names mentioned travel abroad to get medical care since Nigeria has good health system? It's freaking expensive in the US with top notch care, but in Naija, it's non-existent. Got it? Get it? Still need it to sink in? |
helpee: actually, he is not a dreamer. For the cost of healthcare in USA, if hospitals can charge half of that amount and get paid in nigeria, we will be performing miracles. It is not an exaggeration. For the 70K the guy used in treating boil, many hospitals will use it to do two caesarian sections in nigeria and patient will still owe you.You are dreamer because u used the word "if" which means that it's a conditional statement and you are hoping/dreaming that it would happen. Back to the point. Stella OBJ died in Spain, Ya'radu in Saudi. Maryann IB in USA, Patience JEG had her surgery in German. So why are politicians and rich folks not patronising Naija hospitals and doctors? Why are Nigerians spending over N200bn on medical tourism annually? |
otokx: Nigeria has addressed its health care issues, even in that your US of A, people still fall ill and die in their thousands. We get medical care at affordale rates here. The same Nigerian doctors traines here still go and excel in the US system so don`t tell us otherwise. No place for dreamers like you! |
I thought Western Union payment in $$ was driving up the exchange rate, how come $$$ has appreciated over Naira By almost 5% since he banned $$ payment? Naija policies always start with the masses! |
otokx: please we have world class hospitals. The university teaching hospital in Port Harcourt is a center of excellence and is affordable for the middle class. What's a world class when you have not crossed Seme border to compare? Whose world class standard are u using? |
otokx: How can you say Nigeria has no health care system. Are you saying there are no doctors, nurses, hospitals or what?Ask your politicians and rich folks how many of them patronise those hospitals and clinics? |
It looks like Chime confined her to all-you-can-eat buffet? What a gluttonous woman! |
No wonder they can't tackle Boko Haram.. Tanks for election then Nuclear missile for Boko Haram |
danot1030: answer his question and stop judging his grammer. Before judging your " grammer" as in grammar, I'd like you to look up Ngige and Obiano's educational qualifications. BTW, could you also look up OBJ's qualification? |
holarthayor: Plz somebody should help me with the reason why anambra politicain no like to go to school.Your English is soo bad, it makes me wonder if you finished JSS3? |
packman: NOW YOU SEE FUNNY NAIRALANDER'S SPILL TRASHWho is this cretin from cave? |
BizBooks: That was Fela's excuse. But do you believe that? Many people regard Fela so highly thatIt's called " taking care of your business first" It takes a person of impeccable character to see that u must go to "equity with clean hands" |
noblezone: How do you mean?Stupidiest statement. How has Naija been kept together? We have prayed more, more people have been killed in religious related violence. We have prayed more, more people have become poorer. We have prayed more, more people have become homeless We have more for security, more people have died in the hands of militia, armed robbers, kidnappers, Boko haram and other non-state actors. We have prayed more for better hospitals, more children and mothers have died at child birth. We have prayed more for good roads, more roads have gone bad and become inaccessible and death traps for passengers. We have prayed more to avert air crashes, we have become the air crash capital of the world. We have prayed more and done little. Time to reverse course; WORK MORE and pray little. No country has ever been saved through prayer. Prayer without GOOD work is vanity! |
Fela stood for "charity begins at home", his home front was on fire, so he wanted to put out the fire first in Naija before going to another country. He was a general who fought in his home turf to protect his home front. |
cKaiser: So her family insists she stays in a marriage thats dead for monetary gainsThe premise of the marriage was for monetary favors in the first place. |
Emperor Fashola, making laws that are unenforceable! |
