365 DAYS OF GOD'S FAITHFULNESS AND STILL COUNTING. By Adebanjids We are so grateful to God (the originator of love and marriage), to friends that stood by and to relatives that are always on the check. We have been able to pass the 1 year mark, its definitely a big deal to us. It has been the grace of God that has kept us together this long and we pray we will live to celebrate many more happy, goofy, fruitful and prosperous years together. This past year was way smoother together as friends, team mates and as wife and husband than the preceding years as friends alone as we have grown a whole lot. We have our ups and downs but we know with God on our side and both of us willingly putting in the 'Love Work', we'll keep marking more beautiful milestones together. We choose to focus on the positives, appreciate what we have and make the best of it while improving on ourselves. Remembering always that love cannot survive just by itself, it needs constant nurturing and contentment while pursuing goals is the key to happiness. Having our diary sections, we have promised ourselves to make a habit of counting our blessings and as to see how much God has done, does and doing for us. Teamwork makes the Dream work. We hope to share many more of our anniversaries with you guys. HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO US Dad et Mom Eden.

RETHINKING KNOWLEDGE. (A Paraphrase of: Knowledge Puffeth Up by Pastor EAA) By Adebanjids One of the biggest problems facing this generation is what is called ‘too know’ in Nigerian local parlance. 'I Too Know' is a societal syndrome caused by the availability of the internet to both good and false information, causing everyone to feels very wise before their own eyes even without scientific validations. This generation is rich with info at every search of it and good as it is knowledge is good! Infact nothing is wrong in knowing a bit about everything but you must be careful that it does not make you puffed up. When something is puffed up, it becomes difficult to get anything into it because it is already full of air . Howbeit, it will do you good to know that, no matter how much knowledge you have, your disposition should still be that of someone who knows nothing 'coz yet, THERE IS ALWAYS SOMETHING NEW TO LEARN. A wise philosopher once said “The only thing I know is that I know nothing.” The love word reaffirmed it: “And if any man think that he knoweth any thing, he knoweth nothing yet as he ought to know.” (1 Corinthians 8:2). Let it sinks that: a. Professing onself to be wise is foolishness. b. There is no wisdom in being talkative. Wise people talk only when necessary ( When you talk too much you loose senses). c. Get as much knowledge as you can, but never get puffed up. Just like our memory verse for today says, no matter how much you know, never think that you know it all. https://www.facebook.com/100001921281431/posts/3988546904552646/?app=fbl

#HISTORY THE MAGNIFICIENT 7 OF 1952 AND ITS 2020 TURN OUT. By Adebanjids Just like yesterday against all moribund conventions the renowned Nobel Prize in Literature laureate Wole Soyinka, Ralph Opara, Pius Oleghe, Ikpehare Aig-Imoukhuede, Nathaniel Oyelola, Olumuyiwa Awe and Sylvanus U. Egbuche formed the group called NAS. +IVE INTENTIONS -IVE TURNOUT Ojo g'ate ko jo g'ate o fi ese mejeji tiro (Yoruba). In all modesty, the group was created in order to combat the societal ills such as increase of tribalism among social life of students and the increasing population of "wealthy" students to a relatively few "poorer" students in the University College, Ibadan. Year in year out the PC remains a carnivores still, becoming the only group on campus for almost 68 years with its dogs don in fiery robe, its leaopards in bloodied vest, and its cats on ragged loincloth. Validating once more the Yoruba adage... Bí ajá wọ agbádá iná, tí àmọ̀tẹ́kùn wọ ẹ̀wù ẹ̀jẹ̀, tí ológìnní sán àkísà mọ̀ ìdí, ẹgbẹ́ apẹranjẹ ni wọ́n ńṣe. #7thof72020. #SayNoToCultism #Adebanjids |
...................................... YOU NEED TO BE A SLAVE TO FASHION IN ORDER TO APPRECIATE IT. By Adebanjids Famed Italian fashion designer Miuccia Prada (Miu Miu, Prada) once said, “What you wear is how you present yourself to the world, especially today, when human contacts are so quick. Fashion is instant language.” Love that! I’ve always loved fashion (ask my mom for my 3months old birthday photobook and see swag for yourself) my mom gave me a touch I will always grow up to reciprocate on my kids. It’s true that clothes are merely folds of fabric that cover us and warm us but also in my years of sewing and designing, clothes are art works which has the ability to reveal character at distance and to tell a story at arm lengths. The why you can identify an Hushpuppi from a distance and an Ebuka at sight. Have you always loved creating your very own clothes and designs? Find yourself browsing through Pinterest and other men’s fashion blogs to follow the latest design trends? Then becoming a fashion designer is your calling. Watch this space an opportunity is coming for you.

Chris Chukwuka (Facebook friend) replied my post on the FUTO issue with this - I think you are the one uncivilized and insensitive here mate! If you are, you will know that education is not your right! No one forces you to be educated and as such you shouldn't cause unnecessary commotion in schools. You had dealings with just few professors, 0.05% of the whole and you have generalized that all Nigerian Professors your uncivilized. The police enforces law and order in the society, if you go against the law you will be cracked down by the police. It's high time we understood that education won't be free, cheap or for everyone. This is the most uncivil, uneducated and unpatriotic comment I have read on Facebook. Nigeria students!.
