If he impresses very well, which I doubt he's gonna do, then good for him.

Like most who were running round in the past comparing the EPL to Laliga, the English have been clear since the birth of the Premiership in 1992 that it is A SHOW.

And a show it has been ever since complete with all the hype and eye candy professional sports can offer. That is why we watch it. For the drama and the actors, for the scripts you cannot get anywhere else. It is that popularity that hurts and enrages others so much. Because they have said against the english game time and again and I quote, 'that is not how the game is to be played'

I watch and have watched all the leagues in the developed world and there is nothing near the Premiership. Just watch the LaLiga preview shows on DSTV and tell me if you will not fall asleep. All they talk about is weaknesses, faults, inadequacies in search of perfection. Sure they win all the continental trophies but how many teams outside the top 3 are watchable on a recurrent basis....

Please they should leave the Premiership alone and let the 'English Hype' be. They are getting the aspect of growing their brand right and this is reflected in their teams still able to command considerable resources despite the financial difficulties of our time.

On behalf of concerned peace and unity seekers on Nairaland, I hereby call on Seun and his moderators to start shutting down and banning those folks who are promoters of ethnic supremacy on this forum.

Such divisive posts and monickers are not socially healthy for this forum. I see it as being shameful if people of other nationalities/countries should join this forum and see the spread of hatred and animosity we Nigerians have for one another.

The shutting down of those jingoists is ripe if Seun wants this Forum to be continentally and globally accepted as sociologically healthy.

Imagine if Ghanians or other African nationalities start washing their inter-ethnic rivalries, hatred on this forum. Seun should know that he didn't create this lofty forum as a battleground for ethnic/tribal war but for exchange of intellectual ideas, updating in the tech world, political hangout, cultural awareness and others.
