It's good to know, those who have been waiting for AC have started getting invite. Those awaiting TS have also started getting invite as well. There's another set of individuals, who are awaiting documentation and medicals. How come nobody talks about this category? Or am I the only one in this category here? Not even an 'unreliable source' information. Should we just move on already? 5 Likes 1 Share |

Hello NLander, I need advise urgently, I really don't have a wonderful profile but I'm seriously looking for funding. I had my first degree in Petroleum Engineering UG CGPA - 5.5/7.0 WES Unofficial GPA (last 60 hrs) - 3.51/4.0 GRE Score - 301 (Q159, V142, AW3.5) Terrible I know Work experience: 2 I saw that the GRE requirement for MSC in PE at the University of Louisiana, Lafayette is 285. I saw that one can apply for a PhD in Systems engineering with concentration in any of their engineering options with a Bachelors. Does anyone here think I have a chance? I would have applied for their MSC put it seems with PhD, the chances of getting funding is higher. Someone who know about this school should pls advise. I'm actually not interested in PE anymore, I'm more concern about funding. In fact, if I can take any program related to my field so long I can get funding, the only thing it will cost me is the time to tweak my motivation letter to suit the field. I am also considering MSc in Environmental engineering at Purdue University and University of Massachusetts . The application deadline for the former is 15th Dec so I need to act fast. I just need someone who probably have idea of this schools to either encourage or dissuade (so I won't waste the application fee) me from experience. Finally, looking at my terrible profile what does anyone advise? I know it's difficult to tell, if I one can get funding in most these schools. But if one is to take a risk, take a risk where you have chances. I need someone to make recommendations for this confused fellow. Thanks a lot. |

mfarad: You can check out University of Wyoming And University of West Virginia. One of them require a GPA of 2.75 and you could have a PhD in PE without MSc. And I also think, you have a good enough GRE scores for those schools. I'll like to speak with you directly. Have sent a pm. RSVP 1 Like |

I don't know what a World Class Assessment Centre looks like but I think FBN is putting up one. Have participated in other AC like that of NSE so was expecting sth close, to be honest it's no match at all. Their organization is highly commendable considering the number of participants all over the nation. Kudos to the FBN Recruitment team and HCP. For those who are yet to participate, according to the head of Talent Hunt for FBN, assessment of participants will be holistic, don't be down if you think you may not have done well in any of the sections. Just move on and make sure you put in your best in the next, in other words don't let your perceived flop in a section impacts on another. It was stated that all events are mutually exclusive. For the Numerical test, you're likely to find some almost impossible to solve questions considering the time and without calculator. On the other hand there are questions you'd be able to solve mentally. Don't waste your time doing the impossible, approximation won't even help as options maybe very very close. As for the logical reasoning, there could be some easy to figure out logic down the line don't try to waste too much on some difficult logic. My opinion. Other section has been talked about by other participants. Lest I forget, for those who are taking the advise of leading the group in the group discussion task. It's may not work for all, just go with the flow. The 'bebeto' in my group ended up shooting himself in the head. It could be an advantage or a disadvantage. Just make sure you make good points, be audible and let your contribution be felt. Then you'll feel fulfilled even if you don't see your score. Wish you all good luck. Cheers! 18 Likes 1 Share |

Folabimi: Of course yes, it's within Lagos na, you can do the distance in about 1hr with a good flow of traffic. Considering its early in the morning, you can leave the house say 5am. You'll comfortably get there before 7am. |

Literature / The Hill Or The Avalanche - POEM by adelawry(m): 3:56am On May 20, 2017 |
1 Once She lived on a Hill On the Hill was a perpetually burning fire The flame of fire was blue The burning was a party 2 She went to the countryside Upon Her arrival the flame was going out She used dry hay, she used fossil fuel Yet the fire won't be reborn 3 The fire gradually turned sour She became as homeless as a wanderer Would rather remain homeless Hill was not burning To read the complete poem follow and the link and do not forget to make comment. http://lifemotivationandinspiration..com.ng |

scholar90: As much as I agree with you, I'd like to disagree on a few lines. Neither, Bally nor Bassey are threat to Bisola. I understand Bally nominates Bisola and TTT almost all the time, if you notice well, he stopped nominating Bisola and switched to TTT and TBoss. Bassey is more of a threat atleast than Bally but not outrightly. Bassey is a silent doer. I'm more comfortable with Bassey leaving than Bally anyways, I personal opinion. #TeamBisola 4 Likes |

Bassey(during campaign) : Efe you know we're both from South South. So pls don't nominate your brother. When he was swapping Efe for Bally, he forgot that what goes around comes around. His nomination is one have always longed for. He's very articulate no doubt. The other side of him... Smh. We was forming Oga Boss last week forgetting that it's for a while. As for Debie-Rise, if only she knows Marvis power card did more good that harm to her. The sympathy vote she got last week is turning out to be real fans already. Good for her. Aunty Tokunbo always reminding us she's Methuselah.. I pity her sha. She narrowly escaped eviction last week. I really think she has over stayed her welcome in that house. It's only good Bally is up, let him feel the heat a little. Though I wish Bisola was up, her fans can show themselves small. Bisola has a huge fan base, no doubt Efe has a legion fans, but Bisola's fans are very low-key trust me. They're just waiting for her to be up and you'll see the magic she'll pull. Rare talent she is so it's expected. I am saving Bally, it's not good he goes home on his first eviction. I won't feel bad if anyone at the stage wins the money but Tboss and Bassey #IAmTeamBisola 12 Likes |

sleepyeyez: This is exactly the way I want to see the result at the end. I'm proud to say I gave 80% of my vote to Debbie and 20% to Efe. Efe already has a legion of followers. For those who think the guitar girl was a sacrificial lamb, I'm afraid she is going to be the sacrificial Isaac who would be saved for the real sacrificial goats. Auntie Tokunbo already has suitors who have private jets. She also wants to spend 25M within a week, that's what I call 'su owo n no omo Apa'. Don't ask me the meaning. As for #Broda Ogologo, we have had enough of his cheap scheme and antics , no doubt he's smart and quite entertaining. But he should just come and go already. Pls keep voting Debbie and Efe... #DebbieMustStay #AllTsMustGo #IAmTeamBisola.. 5 Likes |

I wrote the Union Bank graduate trainee test conducted by dragnet in 2014. Shortly after the test, I received a success mail and was told I will be contacted shortly. In August 2015, a guy from Union Bank HR called me. He asked my age, class of degree, location and finally if I was still available for the position. I confirmed my availability. He then said I'll be contacted shortly for the next stage. Till today, 19th October 2016, I did not hear anything from them. I decided to be patient about it cos It took over a year to be contacted after the test. Perhaps the next stage will follow suit. It was just today, I saw an advert for Union Bank Graduate trainee and it got me worried. I decided to come here and cry out. If there is anyone in here that has answers to my worries. pls I'll appreciate Thanks |

aodefunso: I'm afraid you are a bit late. The exam has been conducted and successful candidates are preparing for interview now. If you really want your child/ ward to attend command, I'll recommend you enrol him in a private school and plan for a transfer after his first year. Meanwhile, there are different command schools in Nigeria. Depends on which state of the Federation and the type of school (Day/Boarding). |
